LaZer Kite Mustang Helmet
Great helmet for a great price.
I have this helmet for over a year. It fits my head perfectly and is very comfortable and light - no pressure points whatsoever. I got it with Lumino Transitions face shield - works like a charm! Make sure you install pinlock, as it tends to fog up without one in traffic. I usually ride with ear plugs, but even on a few occasions when I didn't have it in, the helmet was pretty quiet all the way to 80 MPH.

Great Styling and Fit
I have owned Bell & Suomy full face helmets... The Lazer offers a great helmet "Bang for the Buck" ... it is one of the lightest and nicest designs I've seen in awhile.

Good deal with promo Price
Excellent Shape / Look / Comfort / Construction quality. Need to be used with earplugs as it gets noisy over 70 mph ! Good ventilation (Ihave been riding over 90 F and lots of humidity and it had good ventilation (and the noise !) Cannot have it all but very good deal for price paid.

More than worth the price, and looks super-sexy !!
"Revzilla never fails to deliver the best ! Thank you so much for the prompt delivery, although I was upset that I had to pay extra for express delivery but I had no choice bcz I had someone flying from US to India and I had to get this delivered before he could leave. Anyhow, I was stunned by how killer the helmet looks in flesh than on website. Red and white combo being my perfect choice became even more perfect with the way this helmet looks. So sexy and sport straight out of a future movie. The red is so rich. Then comes the build quality which is absolutely visible the moment you take this thing in your hands. I was skeptical about quality bcz there werent too many reviews on this helmet, but then I saw the other variants that had very positive comments, and I went with the gut feeling. For me, since getting this in India is an extremely painful process, I had to give it a shot about the right size, I ordered SM, although I should have ordered MS, but I guess this will break-in in some time and should fit well, goodbye balaclava. I havent had a chance yet to test this out on road, so most of my review is based on the looks and how it feels in hand. It very comfortable to wear though, the vents looks practical and I think should do what they are supposed to do. The lid definitely is better from all the other in line, I ordered a smoked screen too. Pinlock were a brilliant addition and I installed the fogfree screen from day 1.
I'm eagerly waiting for my benelli tnt600 to get delivered soon, and then I'll test this out on road as well. All in all if anyone is looking for this helmet, I'd say definitely go for it, you wouldnt regret.
Once again Thanks Revzilla !!"

I really wanted to like Lazer.
any helmet that takes inspiration from cars and airplanes should warrant a bit of reconsideration. The Kite tries to be a great touring helmet in my opinion, and fails miserably. The front top vents open by maybe half a centimeter and contribute only noise, not ventilation. they interrupt the aerodynamics of the helmet and even when closed, create quite a bit of drag. The front chin vents drag air in the front and instead of over the face, down around the chin and out the bottom of the helmet. The rear vents dont appear to do anything either despite their imposing size. The biggest problem most riders will find is that this helmet is fine at 55mph or less, but once you hit 70 the aerodynamic ridge on the sides of the helmet channels air up near your ears, making this helmet deafening.
Any helmet that offers pinlock is fine, but a helmet that offers pinlock AND a lens is suspect. In Lazers case the problem is that their visor seal system is so good, it causes excessive fogging so you have to use pinlock or the helmet becomes useless pretty quick. Whats worse is the seal compounds issues clearing humidity with the pinlock lens in cold weather/high humidity conditions seen in the south or midwest. the result may be common for all pinlock, but seems more problematic given the seal employed by Lazer. Clouds form inside the pinlock portion while water pools at the bottom of the helmet and spatters against your lips..ew.
Lastly, for a carbon helmet, its actually pretty heavy. plastic chin strap buttons lend a sense of cheapness and last-minute afterthought to the assembly, complemented by an irritating plastic grip strap on the whole mechanism you'll rip apart out of frustration. If you wear glasses, take a dramamine because you'll loathe how this helmet makes them dance up and down while riding. This is partly due to the fact that the helmet compensates for its enormous shell size with ample amounts of less-than-firm padding in an attempt to make the helmet 'customizeable' in size through pads. this overpadding means you'll put up with the helmet slipping around quite a bit when you change lanes or look over your shoulder.

I've owned several brands and styles of lids and this is by FAR my favorite! Very comfy, super light, wide vision and great little trick features. The pinlock visor is top notch and very durable. I also upgraded to the Lumino with transitions and it's awesome! No 2nd visor, no sunglasses digging into the side of my head and no clunky internal visor. Easy peasy. Trick little vent features that work great to move air. Super slick color and nice reflective touches as well. One of the quieter helmets I've haid. LaZer make top notch gear!

Nice for the price
Very happy with this purchase. Light and quiet. Fits my narrow head better than my previous helmet. Comfortable.

pros: Great airflow, sharp and sexy looks, no fogging while in the winter or anytime really, comfortable it fits like a glove,
con easily scratches
This helmet fits really good and has good air flow. The pin lock lens that comes with the helmet is awesome no fog which is really good for winter. Shape and design is awesome and looks super sharp to me I love the angles. However, with the black helmet (not sure with the the gray finish or another of the special finishes) its really easy to "scratch", but they can be rubbed out and buffed, kinda annoying though.
