Great helmet
This is really a great helmet DOT and SNELL approved for $135 and comes with 2 visors. I own shoei, icons, HJC and Bell. By far this is one of the most lightest helmet I've used. Great ventilation the only problem I have about this helmet is the Visor. It fogs up really fast even on the go and all the vents open. The visor is cheaply made but works more oval shaped. Overall it is a really great helmet! more bang for your buck. I highly recommend it.

Great helmet for daily use at a great price.
This helmet is very comfortable and the graphics on it really looks cool. In addition, for a helmet that's $150 it's a great deal and also includes a free dark tint face shield for summer riding.

Love this helmet.got it bcuz it matched my fz8 but was surprised at how light it was. I'm comparing it to my icon alliance helmet and have nothing bad to say about it.fit is better than the alliance bcuz of my more rounder head.overall I love it

Great Helmet, bought as a spare
Really nice cartoon/hot wheel style graphics. Bright, really visible.

So far comfortable, haven't rode with it for very long so not able to comment on comfort/durability.

Happy with the purchase, video review really helped.

Awesome bang for the buck.
This helmet is great for the price. Awesome graphics decent features. It ran a bit small so I gave it to my dad. He loves it for the occasional trips he take on my bike.

Great Helmet for the Price
I bought this helmet for a first motorcycle, and I've been using it for ~3 months, ~2,600 miles. Overall, it's a pretty good helmet, no problems so far

-Comfortable, head not too hot in ~85F temps, head not too cold in <35F temps, adjustable vents
-Cool graphics(I've received compliments), more hi-vis fluorescent orange than in image
-Recommended that you use earplugs for rides over 10 minutes
-Visor gets micro scratches but comes with nice storage bag
-Anti-fog visor even fogs up in rain and <50F temps, get a pinlock visor if you ride in the rain/cold

Good helmet. Good price.
This helmet is amazing. It has features of most top of the line helmets at a little over entry level price. Great bang for the buck for sure.

Now, let's get started.

Airflow: The airflow through this helmet is great. I've owned ICON Airmada and Bell Star helmets and this is on par with them for airflow. The only downside to great airflow is wind noise. This helmet isn't as noisy as Bell models but it doesn't produce the whistling sound that is common with the ICON Airmada. I ride with plugs or headphones so it doesn't bother me much.

Comfort: This helmet is surprisingly lightweight. Either it's lightweight or I'm building some more muscle from lifting two kids around all day. The neck roll is very comfortable and I've yet to feel any hard points in the front, side and rear while riding. The chin curtain (it was a b!tch to take off) is flexible enough so that putting the helmet on and taking it off while the curtain is attached is fairly easy. Some helmets I've owned with a chin curtain made squeezing my head in a pain. Literally. Overall this helmet is very, very comfortable. The spoiler on the rear of the helmet isn't as advanced as the top end racing helmets, but it gets the job done when it comes to keeping your head still. The only thing that I find odd about this helmet is that I can almost touch the front of the helmet with my lips. If I make 'duckface' I can kiss the inside of the helmet.

Function: The quick release system for the visor isn't the easiest to use. Unlike ICON and Bell where it's just click click and pop and your shield is off or on, this one takes a bit more effort. It doesn't feel like a great quality release system. Almost feels like you'll break it by using it. The ratcheting system on the helmet is alright. I got spoiled by my Bell Star by being able to lock the visor in certain positions. This one feels a bit flimsy. Lifting the visor from the closed position feels funny. It feels like it's locked but isn't. In my opinion, I shouldn't need to use that much pressure to lift my visor. Also, the visors say fog free, but they do fog up. They fog up, but the fog disappears quickly. The vents adjust with ease even with gloves on though.

This is a great helmet for the value. Great graphics, airflow, and comfort. Great for daily use but grab something else if you're planning on doing some serious canyon carving or track days.

High Protection, High Value.
I'm a form over function kind of guy, and I wanted a high level of protection for an affordable price. This helmet fit the bill, with a DOT and SNELL certification and a low price tag. The colors didn't match what I normally wear because the blue was very vibrant, and I keep it as a backup helmet for other riders.
The interior padding is good, except for the top of the head. It looks like some stretchy cloth stretched over an open space, and it doesn't feel like the normal muffled protection I'm used to. It also leaves lines in my hair.
It is snug, even for a Medium, but it's mostly in the lower/cheek area which just makes it hard to get on. Like I said before, it doesn't feel padded enough up on top, especially when compared to the cheek area.
The noise isn't bad, and the "anti-fog" isn't useful in real cold temps, but it's better than nothing. That can be fixed with some dish soap.
Overall, it's a good value helmet that I would not want to wear every day unless I bought a thin cap to use under it.

Dominic B on Mar 31, 2016
At the time of purchase, this helmet was on sale for $90. That seemed like a pretty good deal for a DOT and SNELL approved helmet. I currently have a SHOEI helmet that I have to wear a beanie under so it fits snugly enough, and had been looking for a helmet off and on. I didn't want to take a major step down in quality, because I like my head, face, brain, etc., and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. I hope it meets expectations; I'll post my own review soon enough.
CBR6000RR on Oct 21, 2015
Was on sale, and I thought it was made by HJC for Joe Rocket - unfortunately it is not, and therefore was a poor fit. If one has a relatively round head (I do not), then this will probably fit better, but it does not fit like an HJC.

I hear that other Joe Rocket helmets come in three shell sizes. How about this one?
Thomas H on May 20, 2014
Is this helmet SNELL rated?
A C on Feb 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, Its SNELL M2010, marked on the back of the helmet below the DOT Certification.
whats the weight of this helmet?
A C on Feb 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: 3.6-4lbs I wanna say
So my head is 22 1/4"....should I get a small or medium?
A shopper on Sep 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hard to say for sure because everyone's head is different shape. I believe the Joe Rocket helmets are a round head fit. Meaning if you have an elongated head, it might be tight in front and back. That are comparable to HJC in fitment shape (I have both).

Anyway, I was in a similar situation with a 23" head (between med and large on the size chart). I went with the medium and it is slightly tight. I don't notice it unless I have it on for a longer ride (like 2 hours).

If i were you, I'd lean toward the small. If it doesn't fit, I think you can send back the padding and exchange for the medium. (maybe you have to send back the entire helmet so clarify that point with RevZilla).
I am wondering how the shell size is compared to an arai in medium? Is it quite a bit larger or is it pretty close?
A shopper on Apr 30, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I tried on a medium Shoei in the store and it was very tight. I ordered a medium in this Helmet and I thought it was sort of loose, but would work. A month later I put it on ebay and am still trying to sell it because I feel like it is way to loose on the highway. My head is more narrow though. Hope that helps
double D-ring lock ??
A shopper on Feb 22, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes. Double D-Ring.
