Joe Rocket Comet Jacket
I'm a big guy on a big bike and I needed a little more for the opening and closing months of the season on the east coast then my all mesh Joe Rocket jacket. This was the perfect choice. Good price, Nice leather on the impact zones, overall just what I expect from Joe Rocket. I'm a 3xl in my mesh Joe Rocket Jacket and this one in 3xl was "snug". by snug I mean a burger away from no zipping... I dropped 10 lbs and jacket fits fine as long as I don't use the pockets

This is probably the best jacket your can get for the money. Has leather in the important spots and huge vents for when it's hot. I wear it in 35 degree weather with a hoodie underneath and in 80 degree weather with the vents open. Awesome year round jacket and always comfortable. Joe Rocket always makes a good product!

Feel protected behind huge shoulders!
Protection-wise, leather and padding where it matters (shoulders, elbows, back). The padding on the back is swappable for a real back protector (which will by my next purchase). The elbow and shoulder armor feel more sturdy than the back padding, fortunately.
Aesthetically, the shoulder padding is a little bigger than what Godzilla might wear but still smaller than what a Megazord would (they're effing huge).
The ventilation on this jacket works like a charm. Sleeves and waist can also be adjusted, which is nice. Zippers feel solid. Overall, not bad.

Great first motorcycle jacket
This joe rocket jacket is a great piece of equipment for the price. It is my first motorcycle jacket and I am very pleased with the purchase. Fit is slightly large. I'm 5'11'' 160lbs and a lanky guy. It's a little loose around the chest but that gives you room to layer up in winter if you are chilly. Again it's very slight, don't let that deter you from this jacket. Style wise I personally think this jacket looks great, It is nice enough to wear around once you're off the bike. one thing you will have to ask yourself is how much heat you can tolerate. Riding in southern Alabama it gets to about 90+in the summer and around 40 in the winter. With the removable liner taken out and the mesh vents open it does a decent job of flowing air through in the summer time. keep in mind you will get WARM. its not designed to be a hot weather jacket, personally...im wiling to deal with the sweat to have a 4 season jacket that handles multiple temperatures decently with great protection. The removable shoulder elbow and back protectors feel sturdy and are quite easily removed from the jacket. The jacket has leather in high impact areas which inspires confidence. My favorite feature is probably the belt loops, they really allow for a multitude of riding positions while preventing that annoyance of having to adjust your jacket. Overall for the price, you get a cool looking jacket which features protection that inspires confidence is a little warm in the summer and has a nice liner for those chilly days.

Great looking jacket
I am 5'9 with a 40 inch chest. 165 lbs. i have a medium, plenty of room. Arms are definetly long enough when streched out on bike. if you have thick arms this jacket will be tight on arms. I really love this comet jacket.

Excellent jacket for the price. Fit is not exactly as the chart says. Just order what you normally wear in most jackets. I wear a large in an AXO and a large in the Joe Rocket was a perfect fit. (5'10", 195 lbs. semi-athletic, 42 chest, 34-36 waist)
Air flow for summer is excellent. It has a vest style quilted liner that does not extend down the arms so I could really feel the air flow through the arms. I would not recommend for cold fall riding in lower 40 degree temps.
Arms are fairly tight so if you have huge muscles try one on first. Armor is top notch. I emailed Joe Rocket and they got right back to me with pictures of the internal armor.
This has it all. Zipper for attaching pants, belt loops for your belt, adjustable waist as well as arms. Zippers for air flow in biceps, chest and back area.
The one and only negative is that the neck snap is not adjustable and I can't get it as tight as I would like.
