sizing is not good
pants are a good durable quality. however fitment it terrible. i ordered the same size as my normal every day carpenter style jeans. the waste was correct but the legs and crotch area is extremely tight. the legs barely fit over boots. i was hoping that after a wash and some saddle time that they would loosen up. they didn't. i'm 5'9 195lbs. be careful of the sizing.

Finally, "normal" fitting riding jeans...
I am a relatively tall/slim guy (6'1" and 180 lbs) and have found it very difficult to get a good fit from many different brands of riding jeans. I ordered a 32, which is the same size I wear in Levi's 505 or 514 jeans and they fit exactly the same. The only difference I notice is that the waist sits a bit higher - but they aren't grandpa pants by any stretch.

The denim is very thick and the construction is the quality you would expect for the price (and maybe even more). The finish of the Kevlar areas is well done and covered with cotton lining so it should be comfortable for all day rides. The front pockets are nice and deep too.

I have a set of Knox armor from a pair of Revit pants and it fits perfectly in the knee pockets.

You should have skinny thighs
I share the opinion of one or two of the other reviewers that there is something seriously wrong about the cut of the thigh. The thigh part of these pants is way too tight, like those skinny jeans the kids are wearing now.

There is another fit issue that is weird. I bought the 34 which is the size I wear in American jeans but these jeans are actually kind of loose around the waist. It might be due to the stretchable part (there are some stretchable parts in these jeans).

So for me, the following:
- Waist size reasonable if maybe a little large
- Butt size fine
- Thighs really too tight (but I am keeping them anyway--if I ordered the next size up then the waist would be REALLY too big). You should be ready to have a tight fit if you have beefy thighs or work out and have muscle thighs
- Length: I have a really short inseam so I ordered the short length. It was almost too short, which was nice because all my other jeans are too long.

The price is right and they look OK

Good product good price
These are good riding pants with kevlar in the right areas. Fit is the same as regular jeans. I wear 32 by 30 and ordered 34 by 30 and that was too large and returned them for 32 by 30 in these jeans. The waist fits good and length worked well on and off the bike. They sit higher on the waist but this works good while sitting on the bike. The material is heavier than normal jeans and the kevlar lining is at the right spots. These are very comfortable and the style is good not strange looking. These are a good buy and I like them.

Good at this price point
This is my second pair. The denim seems a little weak and got snagged on a hard part and sheared down the leg when I almost tucked the front end of my bike. The kevlar is great and the pocket for a pad is great too but the stretch panel is really stiff initially and ends up pulling the jeans off my boots. Still working on it so it breaks in. Still beats riding around in jeans.

Excellent pants, just what I expected
I wear a 34 W x 30 L and this pants were true to size. They feel very comfortable both while riding and also while waking. I have not tried the pants in the hot weather of Texas yet, but I don't expect this to be so bad, although some type of zippered ventilation would be great to have. I would definitely buy again.

I love these riding jeans.
I have two pairs of these riding jeans. One is new and one is over a year old. I wore my first pair on EVERY ride I took in that year, washed them between every ride and I ride LOTS. They've become nicely faded, soft as light leather and comfortable as any jeans I've ever owned, even with the lining, Kevlar and the D30 armor I put in the knee pockets. I suppose they're a bit hotter in summer than regular jeans but not so much I even notice and they're super warm down to about 40 degrees. I feel very protected and safe wearing these on even my most rowdy rides. When my original pair dissolves, however long that takes, I'll switch to my new pair and order another to have ready!

Great looking jeans for on or off bike.
Only had them for a month but seem to be wearing well. The fit is great and they don't become too loose over the course of the day. I've had other riding jeans that are falling down by the end of the day and I am constantly yanking them up. The diagonal fiber material is cool looking and help with the overall fit. Seem heavy duty enough to give protection but are comfortable to wear on or off bike. Definitely recommend.

Excellent. Great jean for the price!
Searched for a few weeks for various riding jeans.. Everyone wants the best product for the lowest price.. I normally ride with mesh jacket, gloves, boots and helmet but never pants as I always get to hot and just find my riding pants a little inconvenient when going for a ride but ending up at a social event.. and either having to bring pants with me or layer up over my jeans. So I searched for a pair of jeans that i can just feel comfortable with on at all times..
Theses jeans are awesome! I'm only 5' 7" 165lbs and normally use 32 or 33x 30 jean, most reviews said that they are true to size. and they are! (32x30 short) They fit perfectly!!! Love them.. perfect for adding that little extra confidence.. The only thing i wish is they were a little wider and the ends, they are pretty tapered/tight but i still manage to get them over my boots.
My only regret is that I didn't buy a second pair!
These are not the best pair or best protection you can get.. but they feel nice and are much heavier than a regular pair of jeans.. and super comfortable. Love em!

Have worn one pair of these jeans for ALL of my riding. I ride a lot. I wear them at work when I ride to work. I wash them every other time I wear them. NO visible wear of any kind. Very comfortable and I get many positive comments on my "cool jeans" and lots of looks. I love them.

After riding with my friend and seeing him falling in front of me during slow speed turn on loose gravel (grey sand over grey asphalt) and he got scratch free using right gear, decided to add pants with knee pads to my riding gear, replacing regular jeans.

Are these true to size or run small like other Joe Rocket jeans? What is the fit like (relaxed, tapered legs, boot cut)? Is there going to be a video review of these soon?
A shopper on Feb 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: These run true to size. I normally wear a 32 waist in a pair of Levi's and the 32 Accelerators fit just fine. They have a bit higher waist than regular jeans but overall it is a straight fit. I am 6'1 and about 180 and the legs are close fitting but not tight at all. I can also easily get the pant legs over my Daytona Roadstar boots.
Will my knee armor from Revit Sand 2 pants fit?
A shopper on Oct 1, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I put some Revit Knox knee armor in and it fit fine.
Where are they made?
Avinash K on Mar 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The pair I have are made in Vietnam. Sure are comfortable.
What kind/type of knee pads/armor will be the best choice for these pants in terms of fitment and protection level?
Dawid N on May 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I personally bought the ICON D30 kneepads. I haven't been in an accident with them, but when sitting or in riding position they fit over the knees well. When standing they seem to droop though.
