Michael L: Looks good, safety, and good quality.Jun 27, 2015
Ronald H: I was looking for a jacket that had all of the basic qualities, I.e. leather, protection, ventilation but also one that had a green accent color in it ( very hard to find) this jacket had everything and more at a great price point. The reviews were great and that never hurts.May 6, 2015
Alan K: I prefer Icon products and needed a new jacket so I wanted to try this out. The reviews all seemed to go on the positive side so I went with it.Apr 15, 2015
Oscar M: Looks like it's a better version of the most icons selling jacket (contra)Apr 14, 2015
C. Antonio A: Wanted a leather jacket and wanted it to be blue and quality. This jacket and the pants are quality.Apr 14, 2015
Anthony N: Liked mine so well I bought my bother one. I couldn't keep it all to myself....Outstanding jacket for the price point!Apr 7, 2015
John C: I was looking for a 3 season (warm) jacket that had good protection. Since this came with D30 armor and that I tried it on at a local store I was sold on it. Going through Revzilla allowed me to get the color I wanted.Dec 23, 2014
Kevin B: I really liked the look of this jacket and it came in black and green to match my ZX6R. Plus, it had armor in all the places I was looking for, including armor in the back.Jul 5, 2014
herman c: The icon name, good features, color matches bike perfectly.Jun 12, 2014
JASON N: Great jacket! Looks and feels goodJun 7, 2014
Calvin A: Price and size... bigger guy!Jun 2, 2014
B E: Tried on a black one at my local dealer. Fit me well, but I wasn't going for the black-on-black-on-black styling. Tried to have them order a green one, but I would have been waiting until July. I don't have that kind of time. Also, full-on leather doesn't breathe.May 16, 2014
Christopher F: Leather for protection. Unfortunately not as quiet as the discontinued Icon Design line, but that did not have D30 which appears to be more flexible.May 12, 2014
S D: 3 seasons + Nice protection, and it looks badass lol.May 6, 2014
aaron b: Hi-Vis is very important for a commuter that rides in all conditions and all times of the day. This jacket maximises a presence on the road that would give no other road user the excuse "but I didn't see them".Apr 9, 2014
A shopper asked:Does this jacket have any connections in the back for clipping or zipping onto pants? Many jackets have a strap that can clip onto a belt loop...wondering whether or not this jacket has this stripJun 19, 2014
Robert A asked:Does this jacket run big or true to size? I don't know which size to get because I have a chest size of 40 but have longer than normal arms. Also will the white version provide as much visibility as the hi viz?Mar 16, 2014
Thomas S:I also have a 40" chest (my arms measured 33-34") and the LG fits me perfectly. The sleeves hang a little past my wrists while standing but they sit right where they're supposed to when I'm in 3/4 or tuck. It's a little baggy around the shoulders but once the leather breaks in it should conform to them a little better. Can't speak to the visibility as I got the stealth black jacket (looks badass) but nothing will make sure you're seen as well as hi-viz yellow.Mar 16, 2014
Thomas S:Nope, although I guess if you know any chicks you could always have them "bedazzle" it (lol). If you want something that'll make you more visible I'd stay away from anything with 'stealth' in the description. You also might want to get a really loud set of pipes for your ride. I feel that a loud exhaust is more effective than a bright jacket for making your presence known. Ride safe.Apr 19, 2014
Tahir M:No reflective material on the stealth jacket. Just got mine about a week ago and it is fully "stealth". In my opinion, a good vest or hi viz bag is necessary. I purchased the squad 3 mil-spec bag and it goes great with this jacket! Good luckApr 25, 2014
A shopper asked:Hi, if I'm looking for a good winter jacket in a sport bike style would this be a good choice? Would the leather overlord be better? I live in NC so winters are mild and I have a mesh jacket so breath-ability for summer is not an issue. Thanks.Dec 28, 2014
David W:I love my sanctuary jacket, but I don't think any perforated jacket would be my first choice in winter. With the lining in you don't really notice a breeze through the vents, but there is a noticeable amount of wind coming down around the collar.
This is a great 3 season jacket, but I'd go with something else as a dedicated winter jacket. With the lining in, I can wear mine down to about 40°F with a tee shirt and sweatshirt underneath. Dec 28, 2014
David T:Parts of this jacket are perforated but it does have a thermal liner which is great in late fall but as far as a full on winter jacket I would advise against it. With the thermal liner in the jacket is pretty snug so layering would be immobilizing (I've tried it) You don't want leather for winter anyways. Leather gets hard in cold also limiting mobility Dec 28, 2014
Richard C:It's not a winter jacket per say, but with a good wind proof jacket under it it does well, I've worn it in the upper 40's and was comfortable with the liner in and a wind proof light jacket under it. Dec 28, 2014
A shopper asked:Hello, I'm looking for a winter jacket and was wondering how this one would handle a NC winter 30-50 degrees? I ride a gsxr so I want to stay with a sport style jacket. I already have a mesh one so breath ability for summer is not an issue. Thanks for your help.Dec 28, 2014
peter b:I live in Hampton Roads area of Virginia and it holds up pretty well in the 30s-50s. it has the full quiled liner which is nice. I usually throw a light sweater underneath it just to play safe. I've also gone down with this jacket and it held up beautifully. Some scuffs but saved my arm and shoulder and it's still useableDec 28, 2014
Oscar M:Hi The jacket is more a light wight jacket, so i don't use it on these temperature. But for short rides les the 10 miles i could work, with good underware. I use the jacket from late spring to early autum. For me it is not a winter jacket. Kind regards OscarDec 29, 2014
Edward C:Hi. This kacket is designed to accomodate the icon striker back/chest protector. I did not need to buy a size up.
Be aware that the new icon jacket sleeves seem extra bulky loose after 2012. My torso fit fine, but my shoulders and sleeves seem to be ao out of place, and I had a small! This jacket is too bulky for me to the point that if I go down, my elbows and my shoulders aee toast!
I woiluld not recommand this jacket, unless your body build looks like the bulky model in the revzilla video.May 13, 2014
Richard C:Tim, I ordered a large because I have a 42 inch chest so that's what the size chart said I needed, it was just too loose. So I returned it and got a medium that is perfect. So if you measure your chest and use the size chart I think your striker rig will fit just fine if you take the D3O armour out of the jacket. But the jacket is not designed specifically for that. It is designed to be worn by its self. May 12, 2014
Oscar M:Hi Tim It is a little difficult to give you a good answer. The jacket is designed to be tight, so it will not be blown up by the wind. When I see the pictures of the icon stryker back/chest protector, I think you should buy a size lager. But the jacket has already a back protection. OscarMay 12, 2014
Michael M:I would not know if the Stryker back protector fits inside the pocket in the back of the jacket but the one that comes in the jacket is 15.75in tall, 6.5in wide at the bottom and top, and 10.5in wide in the center at the widest spot, and it's about a half inch think. Again I just use the D3O armor it came with, I do not have a Stryker back plate or vest. Only one I know that has those is Downshift. Hope this helps mate. Mar 21, 2015
John C:I'm not familiar with the Stryker, but it looked like it would fit a number of back protection. I returned the jacket because of poor quality stitching, with the liner. I would not recommend this jacket.Apr 5, 2015
ryan r asked:Hey guys, was hoping someone could help me out guessing the rite size, I'm 6'1 6'2 and weigh 130 or so, I was thinking medium but didn't want the sleeves to be riding up and the length to be to short, hoping someone around my size can give a input, what do you think? thank you in advanceMar 6, 2015
JOSE R:Hi, I purchased this Jacket last season and it definitely served the purpose. I'm 5'4 and weight 135 at the time of purchase. It fit me just perfect, the jacket is well ventilated for those hot New York summer days. this jacket does not feel stiff like some other riding jacket which fit too tight, and don't give you enough flexibility. I recommend this Icon Sanctuary Jacket 100%, and hope that I never have to test how GOOD it is!!!Mar 7, 2015
Michael B:In Ohio here so I haven't removed the liner yet but seems like it would have good ventilation. It might depend on your tolerance to and if your getting all black. In short its my spring/summer/fall jacket.Apr 21, 2014
Cory B asked:Anyone know what size the 5XL is? The 4XL is a 52"-54" chest, I currently wear a jacket that is a 54" and it's a little tight in the chest an shoulders. Any real big dudes get the 5XL?Sep 28, 2014
