The perfect backpack for commutors So glad I got this backpack! I'm a commuter for work, living about 4 miles from home. With this backpack, I am able to put an ipad, a small change of clothes AND my meal bag. Perfect shape for those types of things. Only used it during the day, not at night yet, so I'm looking forward to see what it looks like. Great price, great buy! September 2, 2014
Great bag! This is a great backpack! I can carry my 17" laptop (though the strap doesn't fit), a set of extra clothes, a hoodie, my riding gloves, as well as a few snacks to boot and I still have room to spare. I'm definitely glad I bought this! September 1, 2014
for the money, deff a good choice. If your looking for a small simple bag for a good price. The icon old school is where its at. Just need a small bag to carry a hoodie time to time and it works perfect. I carry my wallet keys second visor for night riding if I'm out all day some food a drink and my laptop. Now its not a huge pack but I was impressed I got all that stuff in it. Wasn't thinking it would all fit so it deff proved me wrong. August 12, 2014
Fits a lot of things It's surprisingly large and fits a lot of things like take out dinner for two. August 4, 2014
Great Product this is a simple backpack with everything you need works great July 28, 2014
Great bag. I received my order in one business day. Wow! Bag is perfect size for riding. Big enough to store essentials in but not do big that it's annoying. Very handsome design and extremely comfortable. Can't even tell I'm wearing it. July 28, 2014
Great simplistic bag Just wanted a simple backpack for riding and carrying basic items, gym gear/clothes/water/devices etc. This bag does it with style and affordability! You don't get over the top crazy features or anything but for the price this is exactly what I wanted. pros - Small pockets are lined with fleece to protect devices which was a nice touch. - Reflective material on straps - Looks Small but can hold a lot Cons -none so far July 23, 2014
Awesome Fantastic bag, plenty of space for clothes and food. With bag completely opening, ease of getting stuff from the bottom. Side pocket perfect size for kick plate. Bag works perfectly for military base in needingblack bags now. July 22, 2014

A shopper asked: I'd like to know. As chances are I may be carrying around a spare helmet from time to time.

Also, is this bag waterproof? This bag has a laptop compartment, but I'd hate for my laptop to get wet.

Can I also get the dimensions of the bag? Width, length, depth, weight, estimated carrying capacity?

pboyd1992: I have an Icon Airframe helmet (Medium) and it will fit in this pack. It is then bulky and uncomfortable, and doesn't leave much room for anything else, but it fits inside.

I'm not 100% sure on the waterproof question, as I haven't had it out in rain since I got it, but based on the material, and the coating on the material... I'd say it's probably waterproof enough to keep your laptop dry.

I don't know the exact dimensions, but I could fit around 5 average sized textbooks in it.

Hope any of that helps.

RevZilla: The Icon Old Skool Backpack does not have enough room to accommodate a helmet, nor is it waterproof. The only bag that we carry that is advertised as waterproof is the Alpinestars Slipstream Backpack, which has waterproof seams and zippers. Unfortunately, a helmet will not fit in the Slipstream either. The OGIO No Drag Mach 3 Backpack has an integrated removable helmet carry clip strap, however the No Drag Mach 3 is not waterproof. Outlaw23G: Most bike bags are water proof. If your not sure there should be a rubber seal around the zipper to keep water out. To make sure your computer stays dry you can use some extra precaution and wrap the laptop in a small plastic bag just incase. Sep 18, 2012
