Well Made Solid Value for the Money What can I say, these gloves seem well made and the materials have a quality feel. The reason I assigned four stars for comfort instead of five is the righthand glove fits noticably snugger than the left. There was also a corner on the velcro backing inside the righthand glove that was poking the top of my hand, but a quick snip of the pointed edge (think corner of an equilateral triangle) solved the problem. I really like the style and apparent build quality of this glove. Air flow is good for perforated leather, hands got pretty chilly the other day riding in 47 F (8.3 C) deg temp and had to fire up the heated grips, but bought these for warm weather so no worries. Tactile feel of the grips and levers is a 7 out of 10. No problem leaving gloves on at the gas pump and manipulating credit card and fuel cap etc. Come to think of it, the righthand glove being snugger may tend to help with that. After last summer using mesh-tex gloves, glad to have these puppies on the gear shelf ! ! April 6, 2014
Great glove This is the first pair of gloves I've purchased. I followed the sizing chart and ordered the Large based on my size and they fit perfectly. They even fit well when gripping the handlebars. Not uncomfortable over a long period of time (I've only ever ridden for 1.5hrs or so continuously). While air flow isn't noticeable, I consider it good because even in 90degF heat my hands are never sweaty when they come out of the glove. Being a relatively inexperienced rider, I'm not sure I can comment on the protection. They feel safe. It's good leather and the knuckle protection is solid. The palms seem to be a bit on the bare side to me, but I'm hoping I never prove that to be true. Overall they feel solid, fit true to size, and breathe nicely. Great buy I'd say. August 14, 2013
Got what I expected This is a great summer glove and I like the fit just lacks a little on protection. June 17, 2013
awesome gloves! i had to break them in a little when i got them but now they're super comfortable and feel almost perfect. i will say because someone else mentioned the longer thumb on one side, that the right side glove seems to have fingers that are just slightly shorter than the left and my fingertips push into them. not a big deal but i thought i would note it. it might be that i have a bigger right hand or the way i'm on my grips.. who knows. the protection on the knuckles feels good as does the leather on the palms. they're lightweight and between the perforated leather and vents, offer plenty of flow. even on 90+* days, they're still comfortable. Poor quality control by Icon I really wanted to like these gloves, but they fall short of expectations. They seem to be generally very well made, but the quality control at Icon must be spotty. The pair I got had one thumb that was approximately 3/4" longer than the other hand. The knuckle protection on the fingers also felt sharp and perhaps like it wouldn't ever break-in and be comfortable. For $85 I would expect better, so back to Revzilla they went. I was looking for a good pair of short-cuff gloves that wouldn't interfere with my jacket cuff, and the options are limited - most gloves appear to have large velcro closures that wouldn't work for me. Ended up buying a pair of Dainese Ricochet gloves. At $119.95 they are significantly more money than the Icons, but they arrived yesterday and the fit and build quality is excellent. May 15, 2013
Comfortable summer glove Comfort: The palm of this glove feels like it isn't even there. I have so much control and tactile response. I am extremely pleased. The leather moves fine along with my hands. my only complaint is that the plastic piece on the pinky finger (for my left hand) gets in the way when clenching my fist. I have to pull the glove all the way back to make it better. My hands are in between a small and medium and I went with a medium. Airflow: Ohh man, so much airflow. So good. I'm in Los Angeles and it's the perfect day glove for like 70-80 degree weather. color: I went with the tan and out of the box they looked almost gold. They were really bright but with some riding and dirt, they are darkening and looking more tan than gold. Things I don't like, I wish the Icon symbol wasn't hard plastic. It gets in the way of my jacket sometimes. It's just a minor inconvenience though. April 22, 2013
Great glove from Icon Super comfortable glove from Icon. Very sticky on the bars and I wouldn't ride without them. The fit is awesome, looks great and provides ample protection. I don't sweat in them but airflow could be a little better. Overall a very quality product at a good price from Revzilla. Shipped quick. April 15, 2013
Nice fit I really like the fit on the gloves, the right glove fits my hand absolutely perfect. the left glove the thumb has just a wee bit more than I would like but not enough to complain in any way. If you use the size chart provided you will get a good fit. March 13, 2013

Alex W: I love the icon pursuit perforated glove for summer riding, but I really feel it's too much of a protection sacrifice. This glove seems to have close enough ventilation to the perforated icon pursuit, while offering better protection. Also, having used gloves with cowhide and goatskin palms, I will now only purchase goatskin palmed gloves. The feel is substantially better. Mar 1, 2014

Alex W asked: I'm thinking of getting this glove to replace my Icon Pursuit (perforated version) for summer riding. I live in arizona where it will be 110+ for about 3 months straight. The icon pursuit perforated is certainly fine in terms of ventilation, I could handle less ventilation though.

In your opinion, how comfortable do you think these gloves will stay in temperatures as I've described? Is the microperforation effective? Can you compare them to the pursuit perforated in terms of ventilation? Thanks!

David R: The quality of the glove is excellent but I don't believe these gloves will be what you are looking for considering the temps you will be riding in. I live in Texas where we have hellish summers (During the civil war General Sherman was rumored to have said that if he had a choice between living in hell or Texas he would choose hell). These gloves are too warm for me during our summers. They are good for all other times of the year and would probably work year round for people who live in more comfortable summer climates. NOEL C: Hi Alex W...

In my opinion these gloves are fine for warm weather but, provide better ventilation if you go at a speed above 85 km/hr for more than 1 hour, or kind of. I think, if you need more ventilation you can choose gloves with larger perforations.
In other terms of comfort, utility, quality and appearance, let me tell you these gloves for me ...have been very, very successful. I love them.

Alexandre Leme Ferreira d: I live in Brazil, and the city where I live, the temperature is about 80F 10 months a year. I ride my bike every day to go to work.
The gloves perforation is perfect.
Even in this weather, is very good.
I am very happy with quality and performance of these gloves.

Stephen S: The backs of your hands should be fine at the high temps. I have ridden in mine up around 100 degrees and they were warm but not too bad. Microperf does it's job. The palms might get a little sweaty though. I can't compare to the pursuit. Feb 28, 2014

Joshua W: I felt these gloves ventilate great. I rode with them in temps up to 90° and was always comfortable and never felt like my hands got clammy. As for comparing them to the pursuit I'm not sure Feb 28, 2014
