This jacket fits well and has good air flow.
I decided to wear my Icon Contra Mil-Spec Jacket for the first time at 70 degrees and took out the liner. Should have left it in. The air flowed through very well. I am 5' 10", 190 lbs and it fits me well. I like the cut of the jacket for the slightly leaned forward riding position. I'm not crazy about the large ICON logo though it's worth doing some ICON advertising for the comfort and fit.

Great Looking and Very Comfortable!
As an enlisted man that works with a lot of officers who ride, I was looking for a jacket that was within regs, no questions asked. Since, anyone who's military knows, if an officer asks "Is that in regs?" that means it isn't, no matter what. So, this will definitely fit the bill on if you want a jacket that's guaranteed to be within regulations.
Aside from that, I was a little skeptical about getting this jacket. I didn't want to look like a highlighter or a glow stick when I was looking for a jacket, but this thing is pretty beast looking for what it is. Definitely has a sport look while being the brightest thing next to the street lamps.
It's incredibly comfortable and conforms very well when you get on a standard sport or super sport. It's a little longer in the back to keep you visible to vehicles behind you and to keep a breeze from slipping down your crack @ 70mph. Onto the topic of air flow, this thing is great. Definitely keeps you cool in warmer temps. Rode it in 40 degrees today, though, and even though it's a good liner, and you can do it, I wouldn't necessarily recommend going on the freeway with it. Might get a bit brisk.
I would have to say, my only complaint, is that there's no clasp at the neck. Not a big deal, the zipper hasn't gotten pulled apart or anything from riding extended periods of time, but I just wish that was something this jacket had.
All-in-all. Great jacket. Feels stable (haven't wiped out yet, can't comment on the padding), very visible, and will definitely be in regs if you're military.

This jacket does its job !!!
This jacket saved me a trip to the hospital and weeks of recovery!!! I let my guard down in rush hour traffic a few weeks ago and this cager cut over into my lane (hi-vis is no match for a cell phone) and knocked me hard to the ground at 30 mph. The rubber accent on the shoulder acted like a brake to slow my slide as it protected the fabric from abrasion, the armor stayed in position and the sleeves didn't ride up. Although sore from the initial impact, thanks to this jacket, I walked away without a scratch. Wish I could say the same about my Aprilia Shiver. Luckily my insurance fixed the bike and replaced the jacket!

gets cars out of the way!
i commute by bike 2-3 days per week, and wanted something more visible. the hi vis & reflective material is all over the place here in a good way, when first saw this jacket I thought it was electric; I don't know how to describe it but on occasion cars actually move over for me or change lanes just to let me pass. So the hi vis does its job! I also ordered the Rev it Tornado HV to compare, but the Icon had a better sport bike fit (more give in the back and elbows when leaned over), a bit more room in the collar, and very importantly not as restricting when wearing a backpack. the material looks and feels super durable, and co workders have even said "this jacket looks cool" and my kids & wife also voted for the Icon over the rev it. My only fault is on the fit. I'm 6'1'" 185 (tall/thin), and the Med was too short in the arms, I got a large, but its just a bit roomy in the chest (not quite as fitted as I like). Good venting so even in the 80-90 degrees in So Cal here it will be very wearable. included a back pad which I also thought was a good value

Look at me now...
Other drivers are definitely going to be able to spot you wearing this jacket. Air flow is amazing, fit is accurate, and its very versatile. I use it in 100+ degree down to low 50s with a thin hoodie underneath. Pricing is definite jump from the original contra, but you get alot of hi-viz+reflective panels. If you want to be seen its a good choice.

Great Jacket.
I've had this jacket (yellow mil spec) for over a year now. Super high visibility. I can spot my buddy who has the same jacket a good distance up the road. The reflective material really catches the eye during day and night to for safer riding. Pretty decent in the summer as long as your moving. Did well in the winter with the liner and some base windproof layers. Did not feel cold in riding in upper 20's lower 30's with liner and some base and windproof layers. Drys pretty quick if it gets wet. Will buy another if this one ever gets destroyed.

Best looking high vis jacket
I bought this jacket to be able to ride on and off base without having to put on a vest too. It's comfortable and for a mil spec/ high visibility not too bad looking. The mesh panels in the lower arms and front of the jacket provide good ventilation. My only complaints are that I wish a long/ tall size was offered. I've got long arms and had to compromise a bit between haven sleeves that are a little short or a baggy torso. I'm 6'1" with a 42" chest and long arms. I ended up switching to a large instead of XL because the larger size left the protection floating away from my shoulders and elbows. I'm happy with with my choice and would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone willing to swallow a little pride about wearing a bright yellow jacket for the sake of being seen
