First test was an all day down pour. Kept me very dry and comfortable. Next day was 75 and sunny. Opened up the vents and same result, comfortable and great air flow. I highly recommend the traverse pants as well.

I'm new to adventure riding and didn't want to spend a lot of money for a jacket and pants right away. After reading a lot of reviews I decided to try the Traverse combo.
I'm 6 foot and 170 pounds so I thought a large jacket and 32 in. pants would work. I called Revzilla to check on sizing and the guy told me that a medium jacket and 32 in pants would be better. He asked me if I planned on wearing any heavy layers underneath and I told him only a fleece and long sleeve shirt.
When I received my order the pants were just right but the jacket was too tight with just a tee shirt on. I should have gone with my gut and got the large jacket but I didn't know how bulky it would be. No problem. I returned the jacket for a large and it fits perfectly.
I have riden in the low 30s to 85 degrees and by layering long underwear and or fleece in cold temperatures the Traverse set rocks. Opening the jacket and pant vents provides a good amount of airflow. If you stop for any length of time you'll want to take the jacket off if it's hot and sunny.
I'm really impressed by the workmanship of the Klim gear and feel that I could use this combo for most conditions that I find my self in. My only gripe is that the pants only have one pocket.
I added the D30 Back Protector and D30 Shoulder Protector by Klim. The Back Protector provides excellent airflow even with a day pack on.
I have ridden in a heavy cold rain for about half an hour and was completely dry and comfortable. I ordered the black color which does get warm pretty quick on an 85 degree day but is fine once you're moving. I will probably go to the Klim Dakar pants for the summer in light grey to stay cooler.
Overall, I was surprised how much I like this combo since i saved a lot of money compared to the Klim Latitude and Badlands sets.

I was looking for a solid 3 season jacket that would accommodate armor and the Klim Traverse delivered. I left the house the other morning with temps in the 50's and headed for the Sierras. Climbing in elevation the temps dropped into the 30's but I was comfortable all day. I dropped the bike once in some loose granite and gave the left shoulder and elbow armor a impact test. Overall great gear, typical Klim.

Another great product from Klim . Rode all day in this jacket and matching pants last weekend (first real test),and could'nt be happier! Blocks wind great and kept me warm in the cool morning and the venting allowed me to regulate when things got hot . Cool enduro styling , not bulky (but room to layer), got all the pads (makes me feel good!), and looks better in person too !
