Won't let you down
I have owned this jacket as well as the pants for almost 2 years, I have ridden in some pretty heavy downpours in this jacket, and it has never failed to keep me dry. I recently crashed on the street wearing this jacket and came away with zero road rash. The jacket also survived the crash fairly unscathed. This is not the best in hot riding conditions, but not bad.
There is no doubt that this jacket is pricey, but you can rest assured it will last a very long time, and won't fail you in adverse weather conditions. Well worth the price.

Not to bad
I've been wearing mine for about a year now. Only complaints I have is that the button on the collar is a royal PITA to connect with gloves on and the zippers are get hung up themselves quite a bit.. but I attribute that to the water proofing so, I get it. Great jacket in all honesty.

Top shelf quality, especially if your body fits their sizing. Unfortunately my arms are too short. Klim needs to do a larger sizing variety, S - XXL is just too limited. If you happen to fit their sizing then this is a winner.

Excellent dualsport jacket
I bought this to replace an old Roadcrafter that was no longer keeping me dry. That's one thing they don't tell you about Goretex: it dies after a while. In this case, 7 years. My size is 44L and the jacket fits perfectly when worn over a shirt.
The jacket is beautifully waterproof. I've only had it 2 weeks but it's been very wet, hard rain almost every day, and riding a naked bike for a 20 mile commute. This is why it got 5 stars for value; check out the price of any Goretex Pro gear, whether motorcycle or not, and you'll see this is on the low end; yet the fit and finish of the garment are first-class.
I can't speak to its warm weather performance.
Fit is a bit more trim than I would like. Bought it as a shell to wear over body armor during ADV touring. In this setup there is very little room to add an insulating layer, though an electric vest will fit. Then I bought the D3O shoulder and elbow pads for commuting and casual use. They fit well - the elbow pad position is somewhat adjustable via velcro flaps. With the pads in, I can wear a thin jacket, but even a heavy sweater is too thick, it leads to binding in the arms.
Style is typical Euro chic. Protection is pretty good - to make it better they would have to add stuff like ballistic nylon, which would make it heavy and bulky - not my preference. As it is, the jacket is light and comfortable enough to be reasonable rainwear even if you're not on a bike. The main thing I don't care for about it is the basic black (or in my case black and grey) configuration. A bit more color wouldn't hurt and would add to conspicuity. Klim should take a look at their competitors - there are ways to make a jacket hi-viz without making you look like a construction worker or fireman.

Better than expected
I bought both the Traverse Jacket and Pant after reading and watching many reviews. I was tempted to spend much more and buy the Badlands gear, but after searching for the best priced gear all over the internet, I came to realize that the Traverse was the best value for what I needed. I definitely wanted something that was durable and offered the ability of protection as well as being water proof. This is it! I took a few spills with this gear on. Some in dirt and once in a thorn bush out in the desert. It definitely held up. It has plenty of ventilation and although I don't care for the cinch at the bottom (I prefer a more adventure style jacket with a center belt), but it is purposeful especially in rain. I have ridden with this in heat and rain and it works! I'm ready for the cooler riding days to see how this performs. I wanted an all season set of gear and I believe I found it!

I bought the XL (I'm 5'10" and 180lbs). The jacket looks great and is very comfortable. The arms are a little snug with the armor installed and I'll have to find thin, warm layers to wear underneath for cold weather ops. One ride in the rain so far and I was completely dry throughout. Would have liked to see at least the base model armor in the jacket for the price but still a good price for a great jacket. As usual, thanks to the guys at Revzilla for great customer service and super fast shipping!!!

Impressed and satisfied.
Me: 5'7" 180lbs - all legs, short torso, wide shoulders.
I was torn between a MD and LG and ended up going with the MD. The jacket pretty much fits perfectly aside from it being a tad long. Just spent three weeks going through Alaska and Canada in some pretty bad weather. The Klim Traverse kept me dry in some pretty heavy rain, which is all I was hoping for. Fortunately this jacket gives so much more. Generous pit zips and loose cuffs kept me cool and ventilated in high 70s low 80s sun. Its all decked out in d30 which all fits well - but you have to buy it separately. My only gripe is the collar. It is a bit soft and snug. Also, when not totally done up, it could benefit from having a way to secure the collar strap so it's not flopping around in the wind. At high speeds the button slap against the helmet gets pretty severe. This jacket works really well with the Traverse pants and Klim element long gloves.
