Icon Airframe Construct Manic Helmet
Those of a certain age may recognize the snarling chin bar grin from the ICON archives. Gone are the fiesta of colors, the greens and reds and yellows that made the Manic such a hit with the K-5 crowd. What is left is a pure skeletal form that reveals the Manic’s true colors. A glossy bone matrix overlaid in black lines of nightmarish demarcation. Frantic scratchings of one possible future. The Construct Manic: an ICON 1000 interpretation of beast mode.

- All world standard, meets or exceeds the following: DOT FMVSS 218(US), ECE 22-05(EUROPE), SAI AS1698(AUSTRALIA) & SG(JAPAN) safety and testing standards. Does not ship with SAI or SG certification stickers unless purchased in that country

Amazing!
Looks a lot better in person guaranteed!!! Love everything about this helmet except one thing. The locking mechanism is a pain. It is really hard to open up the visor once closed. Besides that it is the best helmet I have owned and tried out. Awesome design! Extremely comfortable! Vents work very well in the summer heat! Huge props for having the tinted visor along with the helmet!

Great helmet!
Just purchased this helmet the other day. Let me just tell you the pictures don't even do it justice! The helmet looks sickkk especially with the smoked shield. The only complaint i have with it is that when i went to replace the shield the left side wouldn't lock in properly. I too a look and the plastic shield locking mechanism was broken! Not a big deal because the dealer replaced it but it was a little aggravating considering its a $350 helmet. Otherwise, fantastic!

Great helmet
This was my first helmet it's comfortable gets a lot of airflow so it keeps you cool even at low speeds. It's a little loud but nothing you can't live with. I went down a week ago and this helmet saved my life smacked my head on the pavement and didn't notice until I looked at the helmet overall great helmet

Looks awesome, fits great
This helmet is the best looking and fitting helmet I've had. The white is actually clear and shows through to the fiberglass and the whole helmet has the texture of the fiberglass, its not smooth like most. It fits really nicely, and the ventilation is superb. The only issues I have is the helmet pinlock is impossible to operate with gloves on and the tabs to remove the shield are horribly designed and hard to operate. They are exposed only slightly and hard to reach. But, this is a minimal problem for me seeing as I will not be removing the visor that much.

Excelent helmet overall
This is basically my first road helmet so I have nothing to compare it with. The helmet I did have before this one was to big so I really needed an new and well fitting helmet. Before I purchased this helmet I contacted Revzilla about size and fitment and also read all of the reviews about it. I gave them the size of my head, 21 1/2" roughly, and they told me that I needed an XS! I wasn't sure because according to the size chart I was basically in between a XS and a SM. They told me to get the XS because the padding would break in eventually and it would fit better. When the helmet arrived I tried it on to see how tight it would be but it fit perfectly. I love this helmet (granted I have no comparison) but it seems to be a light helmet and the wind noise, well, to me its a helmet and it is subject to high speed winds so it is inevitable to have wind noise. I can't say it if it is excessive or not because once again I have nothing to compare it to. So I would say go a size smaller with this helmet.

I read all of the reviews and looked at the sizing chart and I am trying to decide exactly what size I should try without hopefully going through with having to return it for a different size. I am boarder line XS to SM, I measure the crown of my head the best I could and came up with 21 1/4" to 21 1/2". So just need a little guidance with getting a XS or a SM.
