Mark T: Great value helmet, excellent graphics and features.Apr 17, 2015
JOHN GRILLI J: Mainly the price point along with the features offered! I did get to try it on in the Philly store a couple years ago and it wasn't as comfy as the Arai but then again its not $600 either.Apr 3, 2015
Mary E: Nice look with all the features - most feminine I could find being a femaleMar 22, 2015
Paul L: Good helmet at great price. Have used one for a while now. This is for wife.Jan 24, 2015
Joseph S: My brother owns the FG17 and loved it when I borrowed it. Comfortable, safe, not too loud. His is the matte black, I went with the Force neon green for the extra visibility that still maintains a casual stylish look.Dec 15, 2014
Cedric N: Value for $ - Great graphics - Reasonable protection level - ComfortDec 10, 2014
Robert K: Features and affordable SNELL rated helmet.Nov 28, 2014
Mark P: Great reviews and compared to the CL-17 much more "bang for buck."Oct 15, 2014
Christian N: The video was extremely helpful along with the customer reviews. Ultimately, it's got a great price for a dot & snell approved helmet. A lot of positive feedback from other customers that purchased it and of course nice design/look.Oct 13, 2014
Steven P: returned to revzilla due to conflict with glassesOct 10, 2014
Carl B: It had a great look and it is also Snell approved so I know that it provides great protection. All this for under $200, that is a steal!Sep 10, 2014
" ": Because i wanted a safety first helmet with little frills and a good price, after using it for a couple off weeks i would say it fulfilled that role well, vents could be better at moving air but I think the field of view is better than my rf1000.Sep 6, 2014
Matthew W: Based on months of research for products within a similar price-point, this helmet seemed like the biggest bang for the buck and it came highly recommended from the RevZilla team. Thank you!Aug 5, 2014
Martyn C: It cost less than 200 dollars. It features pinlock anti fog technology and I love the ease of visor removal and replacement. It will be my fourth HJC. These helmets present no problem for me as a specs wearer. I have an FS15 Surge, and AC12 Carbon. My First HJC is so old that I've forgotten the model name. It is very "chromey" and doesn't get used anymore. The AC12 is nearing the end of it's life so the Surge is about to become a workaday commuting lid and the FG will be "for best".Jun 17, 2014
George M: I like HJC . I have been buying there helmets for years.Jun 9, 2014
Emile N: 1. DOT and SNELL certified 2. In my price rangeMay 30, 2014
DEXTER H: Only fiberglass AND Snell M2010 rated helmet under $200. Also fits my head shape, and is comfy.May 28, 2014
Aaron B: tried it on in a store, fit well - got better price through your websiteMay 27, 2014
pedro p: Your video review helped me choose this helmetMay 21, 2014
Matt F: Matte-Black done well. Pin-Lock included in the box. Price is right!Feb 1, 2014
Jonathan M: From what I have seen this is the best bang for the buck. Has all the bells and whistles of a much more expensive helmet and it looks good too. What is not to like about this helmet?Jan 22, 2014
Tim v: One of the few high-viz helmets that isn't ugly :-)Jan 15, 2014
"" ": it's fiberglass kevlar matrix with Snell approved for a great price. I would have paid more for other well known brand helmets for the same features. It fits my head snuggly.Sep 29, 2013
Aaron F: I chose this helmet because it's high viz but still has style. I ride an all black bike, so visibility has to come from my gear. Haven't gotten it yet, but I'll leave a review when I get it!Sep 18, 2013
Tasma H: Reasonable quality f/glass composite lightweight helmet for my son on the trackSep 9, 2013
A S asked:Does this helmet come with the pin lock insert? Some answers below and the product description say no, but the product video and other answers below say yes. Can someone please confirm?Jun 15, 2014
Donald S:I purchased the HJC FG-17 Force Helmet about 9 months ago and It was well worth the money. I purchased a Sena Smh10 universal Bluetooth headset dual pack. That included a microphone and speakers. The arrangement fit perfectly. You cannot feel the speakers and the microphone does not get in the way. The wind noise is not a bother. I would recommend this helmet to everyone.Jun 30, 2014
Dan C:You r better off calling a revzilla geek but here goes. I don't use a Bluetooth device so wouldn't know. Anthony's video review I believe says,"no." Noise is moderate. I try And use earplugs when ever I ride on the highway or for extended distances anyway. and I think I would with any helmet Jul 1, 2014
Cesar O:A place for that, it doesn't has, but you can put them stuck inside the helmet, but it can be uncomfortable. About the soundproof is great, I've got other helmet as Shoei and at the moment HJC is better. All the structure of this helmet is great!Jul 2, 2014
Diego R:Hey unfortunately we returned the helmet and never tested it out beyond the fit. So I took my wife back to try a Shoei RF1100 and even though she was an oval to begin with, the RF-1100 was a much more refined fit. Truth be told it cost more but but it couldn't be more spot on despite the $150.00+ price hike. I don't remember this helmet having the pockets for speakers. My Suggestion is give Shoei a try, Yes it's more expensive but you won't be disappointed. Noise is somewhat irrelevant because you should be riding with ear plugs if you exceed 45-50mph or have a louder aftermarket slip-on or full exhaust.Jun 30, 2014
Dan C:I upgraded from a CL-16 which was my first full face. Not a big leap. Slightly lighter but otherwise the same. I like the fit. The FG uses a piece on the center of the face shield to lift up versus left side for CL. I got my FG for the hi viz color. And when I went in the Revzilla boutique store in Philly, Bobby showed me I needed a XL not an XXL. When I replaced the cheek pads and liner for my CL I got XL which worked because there are the same size shell. Hope this helped. I have never had any other helmets so u can't compare to other brands. I do like the pinlock system. Before I got an MX helmet I would take the face shield on and off easily for off road riding. Basically I can't tell much difference but I don't concentrate on my helmet much cuz it fits and does its job. Ride safeOct 10, 2014
