HJC CS-R2 Storm Helmet (Size XS Only)
Decent value Helmet
I bought this helmet as a spare / passenger lid. Fits well, light-weight, looks good, and priced low.

This helmet fit great and tons of airflow for hopping around town and long rides. Its very light weight compared to older HJC models and would highly recommend this product for the every day rider

Surprisingly good quality for cheap
I wasn't expecting much from his helmet and was a little disappointed that it shipped with neither a breath guard nor a chin curtain. That all said, though, for under $100 it is a solid, attractive, and well-fitting helmet. Coming from HJC I also expect that it is sturdy and safe, but thankfully I have not had the opportunity to test that out for myself. I'd buy another one without second thought.

It comes a little smaller than de HJC size chart
It's a great helmet, nice lookin and balanced in cost, but it fit a little tight.

Good beginner helmet
I bought this as my first helmet in June of 2013. It's been on my head for about 18,000 miles, and will still be there for another year or two when it's time to replace it. Lots of air comes up through the chin area, so get yourself a chin curtain and save your eyes from debris like dirt and grass clippings. There's lots of options for colored face shields (expensive for this price helmet, I think, although they are interchangeable with a lot of the other HJC models) if you do any sort of colder weather riding, shell out the cash for a pinlock visor, these things fog up very easy and the ventilation isn't the best. The helmet is also very noisy, to the point where i've started wearing ear plugs to prevent my ears ringing. something in the top vent broke, so now i have no choice but to remain ventilated. on the bottom of the helmet, the material that covers the bottom of the cheek pads has cracked uniformly on both sides from pulling the straps to put the helmet on.
Just like my first motorcycle, I can't say I would buy this again, but I'm not regretting buying this as my first either. It's definitely been good to me though, until I figured out what i really wanted.

Great first bucket for MSF course
Been looking to get into riding for quite some time, and finally pulled the trigger on signing-up for the MSF course. I knew I wanted my own helmet rather than finding a rental for the class, and had heard good things about HJCs as basic, no-frills helmets.
I got the XL Red Skarr and when it came (in about 24 hours, mind you-SUPER FAST) I took it out and was pleased to find that the fit was pretty true to the size chart - fit great and not too big. Vision is good, airflow seems alright so far, and swapping out lenses is a breeze with the no-tool system.

Simple helmet - good for beginners
This is my first helmet, and I think it was a good choice. On my next helmet I think I'll upgrade to one that has a breath fog shield. It also would be nice to be able to press a button and the visor pops up.
