Review
I bought this for my first Bike helmet. I liked the style it gave, and being also snell approved. The comfort able is surprising well, the weight has never been issue for me, the noise seems to be loud at higher speed, but like I said this is my first helmet and lacking experience. The air flow is amazing, although in cold temperature it works against me. Only issue I've had is the pin lock system keeping the shield in place. I bought a tinted shield, and have trouble locking into place, trouble I mean having to double check if it has completely locked into place when switching out shields. Lastly, it looks amazing with the rainbow tint.

Great helmet choice
When I was looking for helmets, I had specific criteria. I wanted a great fit, Snell certification and under $200. Came across the HJC and it fits like a glove. Very good visibility and the included pinlock visor/cover is a great added bonus. The price is unbeatable too. Wind noise isn't bad but I wear ear plugs every time I ride so I can't comment on how the helmet is without them. Air flow through the vents could be better. The helmet sticks to your head at high speed very well and doesn't wobble around at all. Definitely recommend!

Great bang for thr buck, pin-locks rocks!
I have been riding for 35 years and usually do not go for the latest and greatest so this helmet was a good pick for me. Snell 2010, pin-lock, ship for free and great price! I usually ware a large or x-large but the medium fit - tight at first but after 2,000 miles is ok. Note that the lack of hair over the years could be a factor, Air flow good but not great. A good all around helmet. When you factor in the cost of the pin-lock ready shield and the included pin-lock insert it's a bargain!

my friend went down hard crash twice on same helmet..
i have 2 of this helmet already.. snell and dot approve.. what more could ask for..it may not be as light as a shark helmet. but its dam a safe helmet.. quick release shield. definitely bang for the buck.

I tried on a good many helmets, but knew this was the one when tried this one on. Great comfort and was just what I was looking for! Always fast to ship and great prices!

Great helmet for the price point
This helmet is a great helmet, especially for the price. It offers DOT and Snell level protection.
The removable washable lining is a great advantage as well. It is also pretty comofortable, and fits just as the chart indicates.
It doesnt't have as many features or creature comforts such as visor or antifog coating, but it functions really well and I like the helmet. I have it in hot pink and it is great!
A teensy bit on the noisy side from the wind, but I have found that the noise isn't so bad if you leave the visor slightly open.

The Right Fit
We finally found a good fit for my wife. The CL-16 has been good for her since day 1 and she has enjoyed longer rides again.
