A shopper asked:I'm looking for a mid-large volume tank bag for my 1972 BMW R75/5 - my bike has the larger tank (not the toaster) and low Euro bars. I don't have a wind screen or fairing so I'd like something that would give me a bit of wind protection, but not so large that with the low Euro bars it won't hit the horn or starter buttons on tight turns (i.e. parking lots). I'm looking at this Held Puck ... what would be your other recommendations?
Steve M:I went through about half a dozen tank bags before settling on this one and use it every day. I use it for things like my garage door opener and phone and just pull it off and toss it in my side case them I'm off the bike. I think it's much too small, though, to provide any wind protection. I'm also not sure that without some sort of screen, the wind might push it backwards. For your purposes, you'd be better off with something that mounts with straps.Sep 9, 2013
