best bang for buck Excellent bag, i cant tell i am wearing it however i do wear a stryker vest. Its much ligher than my old bag and the sternum strap helps. You can optomize the bag by using its straps and helmet holder to hold all your stuff while walking around. If u want a laptop holder get a different bag. It is a small bag but. Large enough for a small pair of shoes and a few other things. Havent used the rain gaurd but it looks legit. The only downside i had was the pockets were built a little small but they work well enough. Also i just noticed if you dont put the sternum strap in perfectly square, the buckle can be a pain undoing. Overall i recommend it and would buy it again. April 22, 2014
Great for commuting I use it for on and off the bike. Ipurchased this for the fit and waterproof flap. I take 1500 mile weekend trips and comfort is a must. I ride a 2007 zx10 and have tried tank, saddle and rear seat bags. They all have benefits and drawbacks but for all around ease of use and comfort, this bag works. Fits in a way that I forget it's on. Has enough space that I can pack for a weekend trip. Water proofing keeps my iPad dry. The helmet holder was an extra bonus. Plan on using that for extra storage March 2, 2014
The prefect bag!!!! It's my go to bag, Light weight and comfortable. Whenever I go riding and decide to jog it's never in my way. Highly recommend it. September 30, 2013
Does the job Backpack does the job and is nicely profiled. I expected some more sturdy material for the price but so far durability wise it has held up well, we will see as times goes on. The rain cover is sweet and the backpack expands to a larger size with 1 zipper. Also the helmet holder is very handy. Good product. July 29, 2013
Great Cummuter Pack This is a great commuter pack. Now don't expect a gym locker. I use it to carry my lunch and small electronics. I use it every day to commute to work and I also use it to commute to church as well. It carries my bible and it works great in hauling your helmet not getting it banged up and scratched. It is stream line and has a longer waist strap for larger riders. Great for small errands if you don't want to have a bunch of expensive bags all rigged up to your bike. June 21, 2013
My Commuter Backpack I mainly use the Givi Easy Range Backpack to commute to/from work. For the price, this is the best bag you can buy. I don't need to transport a laptop, so the fact that it doesn't have a laptop sleeve doesn't bother me at all. I keep a change of clothes for the office and haven't had any issues with it fitting a pair of shoes, pants, dress shirt, and tie in addition to a water bottle and my lunch. The zippers and straps seem well made and the stitching is definitely quality work. The pack fits comfortably and the lumbar/waist straps are a plus. I was blown away at how the rain cover and helmet carrier are seamlessly integrated into the bag. I only have two complaints. 1) It's hard to put on and take off the pack when I have my riding jacket on (ease of install, I guess?). The shoulder armor in my Dainese Paved textile jacket really limits how far I can swing my arm back. I don't know if that's just how the pack is, or if it's a unique situation with my jacket and the pack. Either way, it's not a deal-breaker. I just have to loosen the second shoulder strap all the way in order to get my arm through the strap. 2) I wish it had a smaller, easy-to-access compartment. I found the small zipper pocket on the waist support is too small to be of any use to me. April 2, 2013
Fantastic backpack This backpack is great, I was originally looking at the OGIO Mach series, but ended up going with this one because it of the rain cover. Like one of the other reviewers mentions, it doesn't have a place to put a laptop in, sure you could probably get a sleeve and throw a 13 inch in there. Personally I probably wouldn't do it, but overall this backpack is great, comfy straps, chest buckle, inner 2 pockets, + it's expandable. I haven't used the helmet carrier pouch, but that will come in time. It looks like you are wearing a parachute since it sits very slim to your body. I can easily fit my work clothes, a bottle of water, an old sandwich, some beef jerky, and my 9mm. Overall great backpack, and I look forward to using it for years to come. March 15, 2013
Great option for style, durability - but no laptops This is a very good pack in terms of overall fit, finish, and durability. The rain cover is a great feature as well -- all motorcycle packs should have this! I ended up returning this however because it's useless for carrying laptops -- there's no inner sleeve or suitable padding around the base. You could buy a separate laptop sleeve and make use of it, but there are better options IMO. The expansion feature is also very well designed -- just a zipper on the bottom to get more capacity. The pack is very streamlined and I imagine would be comfortable riding. September 27, 2012

A shopper asked: Will a 16" laptop safely fit? I'm looking for a backpack to carry my work laptop and ipad every day to work. I really liked the features on this one and the good reviews but the heavy laptop is a MUST unfortunately. Mar 5, 2014

John S: Used this primarily for 11 days on the isle of man TT last year. I got it specifically for sports bike riding it's aerodynamics and expansion and helmet carrying capacity was a must. This bag did a great job and I still use it from time to time, however, it is not a good choice for work or school when you have to carry books of a lap top. One big main pocket with a a couple of small pockets sewn inside the bag that are open and small items simply fall out. There is no padded space for a laptop in the bag. No way to really organize items in this bag, it all gets thrown into one spot. It's great for what it is, however, it is NO laptop carrying bag, there is better out there for that. Mar 6, 2014

Riham F: I have used this bag to carry my 17" MacBook few times and it fits. The only thing this bag lacks is storage! Appart from two tiny pockets, this bag has no spectators and real pockets.
You should also be careful when varying a laptop that it won't be properly protected as the bag has no padding.

Also, after a year of usage, the bag start to age, slightly ripped from one stitching line and the reflective piping started peeling.

I like the shape and the ability to expand and store a helmet though!

Ahmed A: I tried fitting a 15" laptop but didn't try riding with it. The critical part is no laptop sleeve available within the bag. This will keep it swinging as you turn creating miss balance and putting you dangerous riding situation depending how heavy your laptop is.

I use the bag to carry my gym stuff mainly and it is so comfortable that I forget that am carrying a backpack.

Erin B: I don't know for sure if the laptop will fit (though I think it might, if only barely). I just wanted to chime in to note that this bag doesn't have ANY internal compartments, nor any padding to protect your laptop (so you'd probably want to use a laptop case within the bag, which makes the fit even tighter). cordero m: I assure you it will definitely fit. I have a 17" HP Laptop and this thing is huge, I mean really big, and it fits no problem. The Givi EA104 Easy Range Backpack is such a great, versatile backpack. A must buy! I have no regrets. Mar 5, 2014

Christoffer L: There is a good amount of room left after I put my 15" laptop in the backpack. The 16" should fit easily. Mar 5, 2014

A S asked: Will a 16" laptop fit safely in this bag? I like the features and it's slim look but I would be using it for my daily commuting to work and back and I'll need to carry my work laptop and ipad. I already have a laptop backpack but it gets uncomfortable after a while of carrying it around on foot... I guess it would be worse on a bike with it moving around and shifting weight. Mar 5, 2014
