Made from BeCool, a four channeled thread that has a greater diffusive area than standard thread, up to 3 times greater than cotton, which allows it to act like a fan forcing the skins hot and humid air towards the outer layer of the fabric while allowing cool and dry air to circulate from the outside in to the surface of the skin. The Forcefield Base Layer Pants are further enhanced by the garment's softness, lightness and silky touch creating a cool freshness to the skin combined with seamless and flat seam technology to ensure that the fabric does not rub or chaff during activity. The Forcefield Base Layer garments also have an antibacterial element built within to help maintain freshness.
Perfect base layer for summer riding
Just wore these under my go go gear leggings and what a difference. I won't say I stayed completely cool but I was much more comfortable than without them. Also where them under the air wave pants. The fit is a little big and they are definitely high wasted but they are so light that it's not really noticeable.

Only worn once so far, but seem to be a good product
I purchased these after the other brand of base layer pants I wanted were no longer available. I will say that I was not excited to buy these. They were a little more expensive, and I'm not a fan of the color (seriously, not all women like pink!). A neutral color would've been better in my opinion, but I guess no one will see them. After consulting with a gear geek, I ordered a small, which would probably be my correct size in most other brands. However, these are highly stretchable, and the small was too big. I had to swap it out for an extra small, which fits pretty well, but there's still a little room for more stretch. For reference, I'm 5'4", 120lbs. I wear a 24/25 jean. I've only ridden in them once, but they were comfortable and seem to do their job with moisture wicking. I purchased the top in the other brand I originally wanted, and I actually like the Forcefield a lot better!

OK base layer if you don't mind the high waist.
Amazingly enough, it did get up to 88 degrees around Seattle a few days ago so I had a chance to try this base layer out. Wore the top and the bottoms for 8 hours under a Rev'it Galactic jacket and Gear 2 pants. The temperature range was about 78 to 88 degrees with only 15% humidity. I stayed comfortable. It did it's job wicking away moisture. In regards to sizing, I normally wear a size 27 jean and I usually wear a medium in other types of bottoms such as Nike. I bought a medium. When I put these on, I was surprised at how high up they came on my waist. They rest about an inch or two above my bellybutton and can easily be pulled up higher. You can see the high waist in the photo. From the crotch to the waistband is 1/3 of the entire length of the garment. They are very stretchy. They stretch so much I think two of me could fit in them. The snuggest part on me is the lower thighs but they are still comfortable there (I'm a weight lifter so everything ends up being snug in the thighs for me). I don't really care for the color much. Black would be better. I'm not sure that these are any better than other base layers I have tried. And, did I mention that they come up super high on the waist!
