Excellent Product
This protective shirt is stylish as well has good protection. I wear it under my jacket without the shoulder guards. It fits well. You can never be too protective when riding.

Totally awesome wear it almost everyday. Looks great, feels great!
Wear this almost daily and have washed it twice now. It gets stinky.
I LOVE this inner jacket or outer shirt. The material is flimsy but breaths like your wearing nothing.. There is NO/ZERO wind flap so it literally feels like you have a forcefield around you while you cut through the air.
The front pad is NECESSARY if you ride highways or bugs, and keeps all rain and wind off directly the chest. Pads are great and come in and out easy. People ask me all the time what it is or where i got it. For the price is very steep.. but honestly i bought it thinking i would return it after trying it on. But once i put it on i can; take it off.
had held up in rainstorms very very very well. I thought the stitching would come out or jacket will detoriate during riding the season but it still looks and is as new.
BEST WORN UNDER YOUR GEAR for MAXIMUM Protection. This will offer NO protection on its own and will rip away instantly. Still better then wearing just a shirt or hoody.
Excellent! Needs a pocket! and revzilla sent me a color that wasnt' availible.. Black and white. i like it better anyway. ha!

Flimsy
way light weight feels like it will tear just putting it on don't know how it wouldn't just come apart in a crash I returned it and bought a leather jacket that already has pads in it also way way too expensive should cost 50 at most

Awesome
After wearing big, bulky jackets for several years, i had decided i wanted something much less bulky than what i had. The Action Shirt is nearly unnoticeable when you wear it. It is a warm-weather jacket that can be easily worn under a winter coat on cold days due to its extremely compact - yet seemingly durable armor. As far as protection, I don't know yet. When I take my first spill while wearing it I'll rewrite the review.
As for appearance? My new nickname everywhere i go is "Spiderman." I get stares while standing in line at restaurants, and especially when riding...

There is no back protection pocket on the Forcefield Action Shirt. The Action Shirt is designed to be worn with any back protector over top of the shirt, such as the Forcefield Back Protector Pro Kevlar L2.

From my understanding, are you asking if it's okay to wear this without a jacket? For me, I would always wear a jacket whether it's textile or mesh or leather, something is better than nothing. This item, from my understanding, is made to protect you from impacts, not abrasion (that's what jackets are for). This fits under my Alpinestars jacket perfectly fine and I don't feel any discomfort, I even use it on my RS Taichi 1-piece suit and it's fine as well and my brother has used his under his Dainese Laguna Seca 1-piece suit and we have no complaints.As far as impact, I think this is more than enough for street use (that's what I've been wearing mine for). But I still use my jacket to protect me from abrasion.

if you like to it would be a great solution. but please remember that it offers zero rip or scrap protection which is just as important as impact protection. u can wear it underneath a lightweight cordura outer layer with no pads on the outer jacket. Personally, I'm a big fan of this type of armor. We have had NYC bicyclists buy these for protection against Taxi-cab collisions! The only thing this shirt doesn't provide is abrasion resistance. So in a slide situation, you'll need a shell that will take that kind of abuse. If you have a leather jacket sans armor, or other high cordura textile jacket, you would be able to use the shirt as armor and then the jacket as abrasion resistance.Age: 25-34
