I bought these pants with the Trekker jacket. A little tough to get on because of the short fly and rain gutter cover of it, but good protection in the knees and the leg zips are great. Not much venting. For sizing, I wear them over kakis with or without the liner.

Can't really add anything , as said , not completly waterproof , but not much is . An old pair of ( gortex I think ) waterproof overpants on top of these kept me bone dry for more than an hour in cyclonic rain . Wish the visor seal had worked that well..........

I went with a 32-long and I fit a 30-31 inch jean with a 34 inch inseam and it fits fine. The extra looseness at the bottom isn't noticeable as the velcro tightens everything up. Good pocket positioning but I don't think they're waterproof.
Be careful with the "storm-proofing" flap on the inside: I got the zipper completely stuck on the fabric within 5 minutes and had to get a place to fix it for 10$.

Great build quality and a nice cool weather pant. Too warm for summer riding. Pants are a little snug in the legs with the liner installed. Not enough leg room to use as overpants unless you have really skinny legs.

I mainly bought these pants for cold weather riding. With the thinsulate lining inside, I don't have to wear anything underneath and the pant's keep me warm. It's a straight cut all the way down and there isn't anything to keep the air off my ankles. So the only minor thing is that my ankles feel cold if I don't tuck them into my race boots. They are slightly bulky, as most winter gear are. (I'm 5'6" and bought them in 32 short)

I bought them for price, fit and warmth. SoCal winter weather, 4000+ elevation. They are warm enough for some hours of cold weather. No fit issues like others said, but you NEED to try on clothes before buying. It's childish to assume you can buy clothing online that you haven't tried before. In moderate to decent rain… WET. Inside of my pockets were socked, zipped shut. Almost ruined my iPhone. Water went into crotch area as well. The pant liners were damp after 1 1/2 hours of riding. The problem is you'll need to spend upwards of $290 for pants that are seriously water proof. So to be fair, for $143 I paid, I got what I paid for. You can't expect stellar performance from sub $200 winter/ wet weather pants.

If you buy these as overpants, they do not really run large. I'm typically size 32 waist and I ordered a 32. They fit fine over my regular pants with the 2 adjustable waist straps tightened. I did not find these pants comfortable without my regular pants underneath... it felt like my skin was sticking to the pants... my legs just slide out easier when I go to take them off if I use them as overpants. I am not very impressed with the knee armor. The armor is not nearly as thick or strong feeling as the shoulder and elbow armor in my Fieldsheer Tourtemp jacket (which by the way, is a great jacket).
These pants are very warm even without the liner. I can ride highway speeds in 40-50 degree weather (that's as cold as its been so far) without the liner (with my regular pants underneath) and don't get cold. I love that the side zipper goes almost all the way up the pants, which makes it easy to step out of them even with my boots on. The biggest improvement that could be made with these pants would be to replace the velcro on the sides going up the legs with snaps.
