Renita B: Brand, color, breathable, and good reviews.Feb 22, 2015
charles b: Price and temperature controlJul 25, 2014
Jeanne M: Husband got the men's text mesh, liked the quality and the air flow. Also has lighter colors to reflect heat.Jul 14, 2014
Gail B: Many appealing features: zip out lining, good airflow ,light color with just enough black to make it look sharp, longer in the back for coverage, my husband has a Firstgear jacket that he's really happy with. It looks like a nice jacket, with nice lines. Can't wait to get it. Price is really reasonable.Jul 7, 2014
samantha f: I really like the feminine look that this jacket has. Plus it had several colors to choose from. I love the lip on the back of this jacket giving me extra coverage. It should be fantastic for summer weather considering I live in 100 degree weather all the time. So excited to get it!!!Jun 21, 2014
David A: Liked the style and price. Reviews spoke well of it.Jun 18, 2014
kelly s: Per the Revzilla video, this particular jacket not only had all the features I wanted in a mesh jacket, this model is also styled to nicely fit full/curvy figures. Sold!Jun 17, 2014
Thomas R: For my daughters birthday....still being a protective father, bought her a mesh jacket because it looks good, still affords protection and she actually might wear it!Jun 16, 2014
lynn h: For Safety, we want to be seen on the roadMay 25, 2014
robert h: its what my girlfriend wanted and what she wants she getsApr 26, 2014
Marc O: Trusted brand name and good reviews. Purchased for my girlfriend. She chose this model over others in Sil/Blk. Available in silver without black on chest and shoulders. Decided this would aid more in less sun heat absorbtion. Most other brands/models had black areas we didnt want.Apr 4, 2014
Laura K: Basically I wanted/needed a light color (for coolness) mesh jacket with armor to use in the summer "hot" months. My bike is blue and white and this jacket will go well with it. :)Mar 1, 2014
Dennis S: liked the style and function -- wife looked great wearing thisFeb 19, 2014
Sahaja C: I'm exchanging the WLG jacket I ordered (RA# 00000-90273) for this, the next size up. Have packaged the smaller jacket strictly according to your requirements and intend to ship it tomorrow (12-23-13). Thank you.Dec 22, 2013
Daniel I: I purchased this for a female friend who is very petite and athletic yet still has a distinctly feminine shape. Due to her small size, she has been very hard to fit (with the last jacket purchase being way too large even though it was a size XS - different brand). After e-mail correspondence with Firstgear and reading Revzilla reviews saying that the Contour line runs a little tight/small, I decided to give this purchase a try. Plus Dainese gear in smallest sizes was unavailable. Oh well.Aug 23, 2013
Melva M: I was looking for a mesh jacket because I was wanting some protection while riding my motorcycle. I also wanted one that looked good and not boxy. Color was also a big factor. If this jacket didn't come in the color I liked, I would have kept on looking.Aug 17, 2013
Laurie A: I previously tried the WM size in this same jacket, so I think the large will fit better with more room to add another base layer when needed. I will have to have the sleeve length shortened, but that seems like my only option since MC jackets aren't made with short sleeve lengths. This jacket has a very nice fit!Aug 12, 2013
Laurie M: I wanted a hi-viz, summer weight jacket that looked stylish, fit well, and had some armor. This jacket should meet my requirements.Aug 6, 2013
A shopper asked:I would like to purchase a back protector for this jacket. The video mentioned a D30 Viper "medium". I didn't notice size options on the Klim D30 Viper, when looking online. I also noticed other "D30" back protectors. Which should I purchase for this size Small jacket?May 6, 2013
RevZilla:The Forcefield back protector and the Knox back protector both can work, but you would have cut the these pads down to fit the mold of the foam pad for your the jacket. Keep in mind, this will void the warranty and the CE rating.May 15, 2013
A shopper asked:Hi! I'm looking for a breathable and affordable jacket, but I want to find one where I can upgrade the back protector without cutting the back protector. Is there any back protector insert that will fit into this jacket without having to be cut down to size? Thank you!Aug 24, 2013
Lisa W:I use the back armor from my Corazzo 5.0 jacket, which fits perfectly in the insert pocket, no cutting required The Corazzo site says the 5.0 uses Knox Armor, so perhaps the Knox Women's TP2 Advance X CE Back Protector would work? The pocket opening is narrow, so you have to kind of roll the armor vertically a bit to get it in the opening, but it does fit nicely once you get it through the zipper opening. I tried putting my Dianese Wave G back protector in & it wouldn't fit through the zipper openingAug 26, 2013
Kevin H:My wife uses the protector that it came with but to answer your question there seems to be some room for a larger size but not much. If you do decide to go with a thicker pad you should possible order a size bigger jacket. It is very fitting. Hope this helps. Aug 26, 2013
Orrin S asked:After reading the reviews and from the look and price this jacket looks like the perfect fit for my fiance. My only question is what the rating for temperature is for this jacket? We live in Denver, Co and usually ride from March thru October and a few nice days in the winter. I want to make sure this is warm enough for about 40 degree temps for up to about 1.5 to 2 hours of riding. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Also, how many pockets and are they big enough for a phone/small women's wallet?
Deniss S:I would consider this a 1.5 season jacket, for warm weather only. I personally wouldn't wear it down to the 40 degrees, if you paired it with thermals you MIGHT be okay, but the jacket and it's liner really don't do much as far as insulation.
The two side pockets are big enough for like an iphone and/or a small wallet, but I wouldn't plan on fitting a clutch purse inside of it.Apr 15, 2014
Linda M:I'm in southern Nevada so I probably would even think about riding at 40 degrees, but if I did, I would certainly be pulling out the winter riding jacket and not this one. I've had this product for a year and really like it for warm weather use, the pockets can handle a cell and small wallet.Apr 29, 2014
Richard S:Pockets are great, they will hold small wallet and cellphone. I don't know about riding with the jacket at 40 degrees, it is mesh and the wind will go thru it. It fits great, maybe if you wear a little down jacket with it. would be OK at 40 degrees. I like it for summer riding. Good luck.Apr 17, 2014
Christine S:Don't know about J Rocket jacket. I always fit in ladies size 6 (5'4" 125) and this jacket in small fits perfectly. Bottom sides have Velcro straps which hit at hip bones not waist they adjust smaller to take up slack but don't make jacket larger. Sleeves hit at knuckles but are the right length when you're riding with hands on handlebars. There is no extra room in front arm holes of jacket which is okay with me - hot weather jacket doesn't need room for layering and wouldn't want any extra bulk. I have a cooling vest for 100 plus temps and the jacket fits fine over the vest. Except for low front pockets jacket is all mesh which facilitates more air flow in sleeves and core body. Very well made & good quality materials. I would highly recommend this jacket. Final word on size - probably need to order & put it on for a final decisionJan 14, 2015
Gregory P:I have never owned a Joe Rocket jacket so I cannot say if it fits the same. I have a size small, and I am 5'1 and 120 lbs and it fits me a little big: long on the arms and length. The waist can be adjusted with the straps to tighten but I don't think too much? For me the waist part of the jacket goes to my hips so I can't tighten much. However the fit is not uncomfortable. I hope how I explain it makes sense and helps.Jan 14, 2015
A shopper asked:Am ready to order but wondering about washing them. Are they machine washable? I would love a color but worried about it getting dirty...yeah I know...I'm on a bike But that's me...I am always washing stuff:-)Dec 24, 2014
Hand Wash Cold Dry Clean Only Cool Iron Do Not Tumble Dry Do Not Bleach
Therefore, I wouldn't suggest Machine Washing it. With that said, my wife owns this exact Jacket in All White and it has held up REALLY well. She's used it probably 30+ rides and hasn't had to wash it yet. For that kinda durability, I'll just pay the fee to dry clean it twice a year and be happy. She also loves how comfortable it is, and with the liner it can really be used as a Summer and Winter jacket here in So Cal.Dec 30, 2014
