Bought this lumbar protector about a month ago, used it on a 1000 mile trip and it was comfortable and breathed well. i figured i would be really hot having that on under a jacket and camelback in 90+ degree heat but i barely noticed it there. im 6'3'' about 195 and i bought the large number 5 based on the recommendation of a revzilla rep and it fits well. protection seems good, hope i don't have to use it.
