Sizing and ergonomics
I recently purchased this product on the cyber Monday deals and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. Especially since it was so far below msrp at the time. I was originally reluctant to purchase this item for two reasons: one, there are so many other "naked"jackets available that are less expensive, and two, the sizing. After a bit of debating with myself I realized Dainese is a very reputable and high quality brand do that eliminated all other competitors from my mind.
Now the sizing was left. The videos that revzilla provided helped a bit and explained the waive sizing sudden more in depth. The video did say to pic what ever t-shirt size you use. I'm glad I actually measured because I use a XL t-shirt but upon actually measuring, I'm an XXL in the jacket.
I'm 5'10" and weigh 215 lbs. (Military made my back and chest pretty beefy. Hahaha). The only downside to that was that upon wearing the jacket, the waist was really big for me but it adjusts so no real complaint there, just informing you guys.
So if you're fairly muscular and have broad shoulders, the XXL is for you. Use a tape measure.
All in all. Great buy. Thanks Revzilla

Armor Exceeded Expectations
Within the first couple of times riding with this jacket, I low sided in a corner. Had some bumps and bruises on my lower body, but my upper body was completely unscathed. That's a win in my book. I feel protected while wearing this, especially the back.
As far as fit goes, it is slightly bulky, so I can't wear my regular slim shirts over top of it. However, it is relatively light weight and comfortable. I am tall and lanky, about 6'2" and 165 lbs, and I got my T-shirt size, which is a large. I have long arms, and, was pleased to find that the sleeves are long enough when the monkey paws are pulled over my hands.
This may be a little excessive for everyday riding, but I like having it in my closet as a newer rider, and I am impressed overall.

David T asked:I don't understand the sizing. The "Waves" seem to be size related and then once you choose a "Wave" then you select a size? Seems circular and needs more explanation than offered.Apr 16, 2014
