This safety jacket is offered in 3 different torso lengths, and 5 different chest sizes, to allow for proper fit. Type 1 is the shortest length, Type 2 is the average length, and Type 3 is the longest length. Length refers to torso length, not overall height. Chest sizing is S-XXL.

When ordering what does the "type" option mean and how long is the back protector?

I have an older version of this jacket and it doesn't have full thorax protection or any side rib protection so I am considering this new version. 1) What does the Type option mean? 2) I am concerned about the length of the back protector. It looks longer than the one I have now which is borderline too long. Do you have a length measurement on the back protector? Thanks for carrying Dianese. The jacket I have now has been bullet proof. I really love it and feel totally protected in it. I use it for offroad riding.

Answer:
The G2 is 17.5" tall at its tallest point... and 10.5" wide at its widest... so I'd measure your pocket... supposedly if the jacket is supposed to take the "G" type back protector it should fit... the G1 is for women's and smaller men's sizes and the G2 for larger. I believe the difference is just in height/"length".Age: 25-34

The Wave Jacket Pro has the additional neck protector compared to the Wave W-T Pro. The Thorax Wave Pro only is a body suit with chest and back armour, it has no armoured sleeves.Age: 25-34
