Dainese Double Down Gloves

Ventilation and riding comfort even when the temperature rises is the concept that led to the development of the Dainese Double Down Glove. Outfitted with perforated mesh fabric on the back and inside of the fingers, allowing the airflow to surround  the hands, and equipped with goatskin leather inserts on the knuckles and fingers, a reinforced palm, and adjustable cuff, the Double Down is characterized by excellent ergonomics and an excellent quality to price ratio.

  • Net mesh fabric
  • Palm in Amica Suede
  • Goatskin inserts
  • Reinforced palm
  • Adjustable cuff strap
  • Pre-curved finger
  • Perforated mesh fabric
  • Soft inserts

DO NOT BUY These gloves are absolute garbage. Have worn them for less than 4 months and they have holes in the fingers and palms. I expected more from Dainese. These are worthless. March 5, 2015
Meh They do what they say, I guess. Good airflow, comfortable fit, probably minimal protection (not tested), hands cool even on 85+ rides. Only had for about 400 miles (about 2 weeks). Already frizzing in the finger tips. The velcro pulls the textile, so that will cause a lot of wear as well. The textile material just seems to be of poor quality. The palm material (not the reinforced patches, but the base cover) seems to be wearing MUCH faster than I expected as well. At over $60? Not again. Would be good for 50% off. August 18, 2014
flimsy materials, not worth the money Initially I was happy. comfortable, good fit, good airflow. By the end of my first season of wearing these occasionally two fingertips and one thumb had worn through. I would estimate they lasted for about 40 hours on the road. Very disappointed, and the Dainese warranty doesn't cover wear and tear. Revzilla tried to make good by offering me a discount on a replacement, which was nice, but now I've spent a lot on summer gloves. August 12, 2014
Dainese Double Down Gloves Dainese Double Down ? (gloves) - Alliteration aside, they are very comfortable, fantastic spring time gloves. Not much by way of protection, but Dainese was going comfort and they hit the mark. February 17, 2014
Not Durable I am in Rwanda ( East Africa), we have good amount of sun -- no sweating yet; Airflow is excellent; but they are not durable. I wore them four times for short rides, but it seem I would need to replace them soon. I am not sure how they would handle in a crash. November 18, 2013
Several tears/holes after moderate commuter use I thought the dainese brand carried some sort of quality with it whenever you bought one of their products. As other reviews have stated, these gloves tear apart very easily after moderate use. Buy yourself some other pair of gloves and save yourself the grief of returns and shipping. September 1, 2013
Good quality glove Materials on the glove are well put together. Seems durable and has nice airflow for the summer. Im happy with my purchase. August 26, 2013
So comfortable Great glove, perfect for a casual ride around town. Looks good, and literally fits 'like a glove'. Awesome July 18, 2013

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements. Dainese sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chest: Measure from under/top of armpit across chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button)
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
  • Gloves: Using a flexible measuring tape, measure around your hand, behind the knuckles, not including the thumb.
