A mixed bag
It's convenient and a cool idea, but has issues. When mounted on my VStrom, it's difficult to angle the unit vertically enough to remove glare in bright sun from the vinyl cover. The cover, however, is waterproof, and that's a good thing, so when the sun's not bright, things work well. A magazine review panned the water resistant side holes meant for routing connecting cables thru. They need to be enlarged to get almost any connector routed thru. I use a Garmin Nuvi 4.3" GPS and the holes are all wrong for connecting this GPS. Even with a 90 degree usb connector coming thru the side hole to connect to the GPS on it's bottom, there is barely enough room in the case vertically for the connector. I sealed up the side holes and cut a new one in the bottom to route a connector thru. I suspect that a Zumo, as pictured in the Dryver ad, might be a better fit, but the Zumos are waterproof, so shouldn't need the protection. Pics are attched of my mods.

Easy to install on the Cortech Dryver Tank Bag
I purchased the Cortech Dryver Tank Bag and then found the GPS Bag. I had a GPS mount, but found it to be very clunky. This one integrates perfectly with the Cortech system, and it's very easy to route wiring for the GPS into the unit. Yes, buy one.

Great for my Montana 650 GPS
I mounted this on the top handlebar clamp on my TE310 Husq. It works dandy.

Not Perfect, but Pretty Good
I bought mine used, but like new. Kind of expensive new, especially with the required separate mounting ring. I don't think I'd have paid full price for this bag, and more so now that I've used it. It's fairly convenient, but I wish it had a separate pocket or two for smaller things, and It doesn't zip open and closed too easily.

My main complaint is the very small map window. I like paper maps, but by the time I'm ready to leave another state, the free map from the visitors' center is pretty much trashed--I have to fold the heck out of it to get it in the window to see the area where I'm riding. The zipper top where the map slides into the window is even narrower than the pocket itself, which makes inserting it tougher, plus the pocket tapers down toward the bottom. Just awkward.

Still, it's compact and fits well on my FJR, so it does most everything I want from it. Haven't ridden in the rain with it yet, but I wouldn't want anything inside that had to stay dry, at least outside of a Ziploc baggie.

An excellent item to hold your GPS and it attaches perfectly to the Cortech tank bag it was designed for. I've gotten a lot of complements on these items and how well they work together.
