Big bang for your buck I bought the Q2 primarily to play tunes via bluetooth from my phone and talk to my passenger. It has good sound quality and can easily be heard over any background road noise. I installed the Q2 in 5 minutes, the instructions are easy to follow and installation is fairly intuitive. The video available on Revzilla makes it super easy if you are a visual person like me. I've used the phone function once and the other person had no idea I was on the bike (using the boom mike). I highly recommend this product, there's a lot of bang for your buck here. August 5, 2013
Scala Q2 Pro Great product. Bluetooth with music / gps works flawlessly. Good Volume for music. Could be a touch louder for calls. Haven't tried pairing with a second headset yet. I'm still trying to be able to make a phone call from the headset but I think that it is my phone not the headset. Would recommend. July 29, 2013
Not happy so far I'm just on a run of bad experiences with mobile electronics right now. This headset works great for a buddy of mine. But I've had nothing but unhappiness with it. Sound won't go above a whisper for BT audio. Sound won't auto-adjust in any condition unless I tap on it. Then it goes up briefly and drops again. Contrary to user manual, it does not remember the last FM station you were listening to. Since radio is really all I can hear on the road, that issue is magnified to me. On top of all that, it beeps incessantly - over 100 times on a 30 minute ride to work today. Trying to work with support. So far, their only advice is reset the device. Very dissatisfied. The FM radio feature is nice. Installation was a breeze. I purchased just for the purpose of linking it to my Tom Tom rider 2 GPS for voice commands and the FM reciever. It works great. March 25, 2013
Good deal So far so good. Haven't had it on the road yet but it seems like it will be loud enough. My only complaint would be that the controls are a little difficult to use.... February 7, 2013
Excellent Product I bought this product for the long commute in to work. It had easy to follow instructions and I was able to get my Galaxy S2 to work on it for phone calls and run my music. December 29, 2012
Great Value My wife and I have used the Q2 set for 4 years and have very happy with them. Being able to talk easily between our 2 bikes has made traveling much easiler and cuts down on the stress of not being able to ask questions and having to rely on limited hand signals. We don't ride without them! November 26, 2012
Good product and easy to install and pair. Prompt shipping and well packaged. Revzilla is great at that and at answering questions I had prior to purchase. Installation hardware is high quality. Unit pairs easily with other Scala units, smart phone and GPS. Decent sound on phone stereo and GPS. A little scratchy on intercom. That could be the other unit though. Learning the button controls is a little challenging. But makes sense once you get it. Only owned for a month but seems like it is a good unit. I am satisfied so far. October 27, 2012

A shopper asked: does this come as a set or as a single headset? Aug 20, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
W Ernest Goble, A: It came as a single set. But I must add that I'm pretty disappointed in this unit. It's supposed to work for phone, GPS and music, but I find it VERY difficult to get it to work for all three functions. I'm constantly having to work with it over and over again, and usually still can't get it to work correctly. Sometimes I can get it to work for awhile, then it just quits for no reason. Most of the time I just use it as a very expensive FM radio. Aug 21, 2013
Cynthia K: Yes it comes as a single headset. If you want 2 you must purchase two. A single headset is good if you want to connect to your cell phone, MP3 player etc. But if you want to communicate with another person with a headset then 2 needs to be purchased. Aug 21, 2013

A shopper asked: Is this headset (Q2 pro) compatible for intercom with my current Q2 headset? Sep 19, 2011
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
BluSkyz: I beleive all of the Scala Q2 products are compatible with each other. The only limitation would be the maximum number of channels for intercom and bike to bike concurrent connections. Sep 20, 2011

A shopper asked: I am interested in connecting to my iphone and my 2 meter ham radio (with a bluetooth dongle). Can I do both with this headset? Aug 7, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Chris KStaff: Connecting to an iPhone is a piece of cake, however, integrating with a radio is a bit more difficult. The Sena SR10 works a bit better for this solution. Aug 8, 2013

A shopper asked: can i use my samsung s3 with this Q2Pro to listen music by bluetooth? May 13, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: The Samsung S3 is a fully capable Bluetooth audio player and thus if connected via Bluetooth to the Q2 it would allow you to hear your music inside the helmet. May 23, 2013

A shopper asked: Can this communicator connect to any brand of communicator? Mar 21, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)

A shopper asked: HI, guys my friend has a Team Set Pro and I'm looking to buy the Q2 Pro single Unit, will we be able to communicate? Thanks so much Nov 3, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: Both the Team Set Pro and the Q2 Pro are made by Cardo Systems. Thus, you should not have any issues communicating with each other. All Cardo made units are designed to work with other Cardo devices. However, they will not work with other brands of communication devices unless otherwise specifically noted. Similarly, all Sena units will work with other Sena products, but they will not work with other non Sena brands. This trend holds true for all the major brands that we currently carry. Nov 5, 2012

A shopper asked: If I buy the Q2 Pro and the 1/2 helmet audio kit is there anything else I need? I've seen a reference to a battery/transmitter module that is required but can't find any other info on it. Jun 10, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: No, you will not need anything else. You should be able to use the Cardo Scala Rider Q2 Pro as is, without requiring any additional device or material. Jun 13, 2012
