Arai Signet-Q Pro Tour Helmet

The Signet-Q Pro-Tour takes all the favorite features of the RX-Q and Signet-Q helmets to create a whole new series based on Arai's many innovations, including the radical new Pro Shade System which operates as both a peak and as a sun shade. The Pro Shade System is a small peak that is locked in position. Unlocking is easy; just pull the Pro Shade System forward, then it can be flipped down with a flick of the hand to act as an effective sun-visor.

On the outside, the Arai Signet-Q Pro-Tour Helmet looks very similar to it's namesake, the Signet-Q, but features several innovations on both the inside and outside. A longer shell shape on the Arai Signet-Q Helmet gives 5mm more space front to back allowing for a larger number of heads to fit comfortably. The shape of the Arai Signet-Q Pro-Tour Helmet releases forehead pressures and eliminate hot spots for a more comfortable fit every time.  This shape works best for riders with a long oval headshape.

Additional Features of the Arai Signet-Q Helmet

  • Pro Shade System for dual sun-blocking capabilities
  • Eco-Pure Liner is anti-microbial
  • Ear pockets have been redesigned to better accept communication speakers for a more comfortable fit
  • Both the top vent set and side exhaust cowls are direct carryovers from the RX-Q Helmet

  • DDL-4 exhaust vent to the 10mm wider eye port (5mm on each side)
  • Long Oval Fit

  • Removable, replaceable, washable interior
  • Dry-Cool Surface material for rapid displacement of heat and moisture away from your head and into the ventilation airflow for added comfort while riding and a quick dry between rides
  • 5mm peel-away temple pads adds another level of customization, giving the helmet interior a little extra width when needed
  • Enhanced for customizable micro fitment interior without the need to purchase extra interior components
  • FCS (Facial Contour Support) cheek pad design
  • Innovative and exclusive spring support adds just the right amount of pressure when needed while being worn
  • Meets or exceeds Snell and DOT standards

Great Helmet Used for a recent long ride and fit and comfort were great. No hot spots which is what I was shooting for. The tinted shade is great, but does cause drag if the visor is open, Also first helmet I have had where I got water leakage through the air vents on top. A little annoying but not a show stopper. My only choice, but not a bad one I have the longest long-oval head on the planet. I tried on every helmet in every size in the cycle gear store and a Honda dealership, and ordered two different Shoei helmets and returned them. I contacted Bell and they said even their custom fit helmets would fit my form factor if those didn't. Revzilla customer service and everyone else I asked directed me to this bucket. So I didn't really have any choice but to shell out the ~680$ for this helmet. Even it is a little too round for me, it was tight in front and back before break-in. Now it's probably a little looser all around than it's supposed to be. No fault to the helmet, I'm a mutant. Features: lots of very effective vents, a great and convenient sun visor setup, and it looks great. I live in a dry area so I haven't bothered with the pinlock setup yet and have only had minor fog issues on a handful of mornings. Be warned the finish does scratch real easy if you put it down on concrete (and you shouldn't). Comes with a pretty nice bag. Matches my Rev It gear nicely. June 20, 2015
Absolutely love this helmet I have had my helmet for about 3 months now and I love it. Worn it on longer rides as well as around town. It is comfortable, well ventilated, and does a great job cutting out the outside noise. Atop all that, the external shade is one of my favorite features. On my last helmet I had a smoked out visor and constantly had to worry about goggles or swapping out with my clear visor for night time riding. With the Arai, all I need to do is to flip the dark visor up. The shaded visor doesn't cause any issues with air flow, and my head doesn't jerk back due to gusts. I have a headset set-up within my helmet for music and to talk to family members when we ride, and I don't feel a thing. The speakers are far away from my head and there are no pressure points. Also, the party I talk to cannot hear the wind on my end. Especially when I have the chin piece extended. I also notice that it does not fog up on me at all, even on the colder days when I have a hood on to protect my neck and jaw from the cold air. The padding is very comfortable and I could wear this helmet anytime and anywhere. Without a doubt, it is my favorite helmet. With all the vents, my head doesn't get too hot in the warm weather we have seen so far this year either. I highly recommend this helmet. You are getting your money's worth from it. May 20, 2015
love the visor Just rode 2200 miles in this helmet and really love it. The long oval fits me well and the visor sealed the deal. I wear glasses so the visor makes my life a lot easier, since shades aren't really an option. Riding in canyons where the light goes up and down or into a sunset has never been so comfortable. As far as I know this is the only snell 2015 helmet on the market with a sunshade. Trip conditions varied from 97 degree Texas heat to 31 degree snow and sleet. I stayed comfortable the whole time (my head at least) without ever wearing anything underneath it. My only gripes would be the visor vents are a bit fiddly, the molding to catch nose exhaust (I think this is what it's for) is a little flimsy and asymmetrical, and I had fog issues when the rain was heavy and I was in stop and go conditions. I don't know if any helmet does well in heavy rain stop and go, but it really is a bad time to not be able to see >.< Great helmet, really happy I chose it. May 10, 2015
Extremely well engineered helmet. An average ride for our group is 150 to 300 miles in a day. The helmet is comfortable for the whole time. The sun shade doesn't catch the wind when it's up and is cut to give unobstructed view of the instruments and mirrors when it's down. April 20, 2015
Very nice upgrade! This helmet fits great! No hot spots. The ventilation is really good, but the noise level is more than I expected. My scorpion helmet is quieter, but no where near as comfortable. The customer service is excellent and the shipping was fast! The packaging was very protective and padded well! I recommend this helmet as an excellent upgrade. April 10, 2015

A S asked: Does Arai sell varying density cheek and helmet liners specific to the Pro Tour model or would this require a down grade to the standard liner? May 1, 2015

Alex G: I tried to get an upgraded cheek pad replacement for mine. They only have the downgraded standard pads. I had to send them back. The ones that came with the helmet did break in and now work fine. It just took a short time for them to squash down. May 6, 2015
