First Helmet
I was very weary of the price being the high cost of being a new rider needing a full set of gear. HELMETS KEEP YOU ALIVE. This being said I felt I shouldn't skimp. I am so glad I didn't. It fits spectacularly and has a lot of amazing features I didn't even realize till I bought it. Crazy customizable vent system which is amazing. I also have a very small head (I'm female) and it fits better than ANY other helmet (I tried em all). BUY THIS HELMET! You will not be disappointed :)

Arai Products are the Best
I have owned an Arai helmet before. I tried another helmet last year.
This year I came back to Arai because of the fit and wide vision and air flow vents. I like all the safety features. The comfort of the Signet-Q is awesome as I don't have a round head!
Don't think another helmet will ever fit me as well as Arai will!!

Love this helmet
I previously wore a more round-shaped model from another brand in size XL (the correct size for my measurement). I noticed that it fit perfectly snug front to back, but had quite a bit of space on the sides. Clearly my head shape was more narrow/long oval than I realized when I bought my old helmet. I tried the Arai Signet-Q and found that I was able to go down to a size L and the helmet fits PERFECTLY in all dimensions. It's lightweight, very well made with high quality materials, and looks great. It's quieter than my old helmet as well.
Some people complain about the Arai system for swapping out the visor, but if you follow the instructional video on Revzilla, it's very easy to get the hang of...it's all about learning the technique. I swap between the clear visor and silver mirrored visor several times per week, very simple. I've even been able to swap them without removing the helmet.
Highly recommend.

Great Helmet fits great
Very comfortable helmet. I always felt pressure from any other helmet I wore on my forehead - this fits my long head - very happy with this purchase. Was great to go to revzilla in Philly and try this on - great selection of helmets

It's All About Fit
I've been wearing the Shoei RF-1100 in Medium for a little over a year now. I recently attended and Arai factory demo day at a local dealership and ended up trying on various models. My head measures 57cm or just a tad over which puts me in the Medium range according to their sizing chart. The Medium for the Signet Q was too big. The small fit snug and comfortable. The only complaint I have is with the chin strap cover. It needs to be 10-15mm longer. While it was not a reason for me to not buy the helmet, it is the only part of the helmet that is not comfortable. I'm assuming after a few hundred miles or several weeks of wearing it the strap will soften up a bit. Other than that, great helmet.
I was surprised that the small fit so well. If you are considering the Signet Q, you might want to size down if you are on the borderline with their sizing chart. As the Arai rep told me," if between sizes, go smaller.."

The right fit for me
I was not aware that I had a long oval head shape, but I must because this helmet is super comfortable to wear for me. I had a Shoei Quest before this and it was ok but not near as long ride comfortable as this helmet. Really like the pin lock shield also, zero fogging. I have ridden in 50 degrees to 85 degrees so far and I found that you really know it when you open the vents up. Air flow is very good but it makes the helmet a bit louder when open, which I would expect. Overall I find the helmet to be very quiet. More money than I wanted to spend on a helmet but I am pretty happy with it.

The best helmet i've owned -not to mention, the coolest looking!
The SigQ's light weight construction, coupled with the aesthetics of the air flow/vent system, and sleek design in general (the frost black is pretty awesome) is impeccable! I definitely would recommend this helmet!

Finally a perfect fit!
For several years I wore an earlier version of Aria's Corsair helmet that I purchased in Japan. That helmet had the round head shape more common in Japan. Before that I had a variety of helmets that were intermediate ovals at best. Each time the helmets would smash my forehead until they eventually broke in months later. Finally, the Signet-Q fits egg heads like me perfectly. It fit so evenly around my whole head that at first I thought I might have ordered a size too large, but after pulling on it and twisting it I realized that it fit just right. A proper fit does not need to be painful.
I spent a lot of time browsing the reviews of several other helmets on RevZilla's useful website, but ultimately came back to the same brand I've worn for years. Part of me was tempted to get the higher spec Corsair, but I've learned that it's better to buy gear made for your application, and I do more commuting and short touring than track riding, so the Signet-Q is right for me.
