Bought this jacket and then the day after I got it it rained on me on my way to work. I thought that I was going to be wet but when I arrived I was dry. Definitely would recommend this coat if you want to stay dry.

Great quality, great price!
I was skeptical given the price of this jacket but have been pleasantly surprised.
I did get the wrong size initially as it is a sport fit and I'm apparently fatter than I'd like to admit. Revzilla made the exchange simple.

Great product at a great price
Everything works as advertised. Quality is excellent, and it does a decent job of keeping me cool despite the lack of direct venting. The only downside to the jacket is that when zipped all the way up, the neck area is pretty tight, so I am unable to close it all the way.

Great jacket awesome look and fit.!!!
So I bought this jacket cause of the three season ability and the shear look of the jacket is amazing. I finally got the right size for it yesterday in which(Revzilla's customer/return service is by far the best that I have ever received from any company (.) I'm 6'5 189lbs. and I had to go with a 2XL to get the rite fit and arm length. I originally got the large and looked liked somebody who didn't have a clue how to dress them self. Went to an XL was still very tight in shoulders and chest and still my wrists were exposed so the 2XL is a perfect fit and I tried it with a hoody on to see how much play I had in it. The material and jacket itself is amazing with a real edgie look and the price was well beyond reasonable. Would definitely do business with revzilla again can't beat outstanding customer service and shipping speed...keep it up Revzilla have a lifetime customer

Went on a fall ride in the beginning of September and it was one of the best rides I have ever had and all thanks to this jacket. Was a chilly day out and I didnt feel cold at all after riding for about 6hrs. The water proof liner and the thermal liner work well keeping you warm and the wind out. I am 5'8 .stocky and weigh 180 and got medium and it fit perfect. You can always use chest and back protectors from other alpine jackets , so that a plus .
Its priced out a lil lower than other astar jackets that are not waterproof , i would say because it doesnt have too many bright colors or details ,but it just wanted I wanted.

Tim D:If you're looking for some spring/summer/early fall pants, I would go with the Alpinestars Oxygen Air Overpants. They have the rear zipper to connect to the jacket (if necessary) and fit well as an overpant (I wear them over shorts in the summer).
The jacket is great, but beware that if you get one with white, that it will get "fuzzy" and need to be shaved regularly.May 9, 2014
Jonathan P:The Alpinestars AST-1 WP Pants goes perfectly with this. It zips up to each other very nicely. The only thing I don't like about the pants is that if you're shorter then the knee pads would be more like shin pads, I can't seem to find a way to adjust their height. But other than that it works great.May 9, 2014
I'm interested in this jacket. I'm 6 foot 1 and a half inches tall, have a 40.5 inch chest and weigh 198. i would have thought i was a large, but my sleeve comes in at 27 inches. what size would you recommend i purchase?
You cannot underestimate the importance of staying dry. If you live in Seattle like me you never know when it will rain. Honestly though I can't say if the other jacket would be warmer or not.

Jong Woo P asked:does this jacket have better air flow than T-GP-R Air jacket? which jacket has the best air flow among Alpinestars product rather than Vernona air? basically I'm looking for a summer mesh jacket that has better ventilation than T-GP-R Air for above 90+ degree I would like to have the superb air flow that Verona air has, but it comes in black only which is heat magnet especially during hot summer days in southern cal. I'm also looking into Icon Anthem Mesh jacket help me out to find the right product pleaseMar 4, 2014
Martin O:well this is my first riding jacket i only been riding for a short period of time,so i really don't know about all the other jacket you are asking me about, but i can tell you that this jacket is NOT for summer i live in Houston Texas and a few weeks ago we had some warm days and i was feeling it while riding. Don't get me wrong i love this jacket is awesome, but i think i'm going to need to look for something with more ventilation for the summer. i think i might go with the REV'IT Airwave jacket for summer riding. So to sum it up this is more of a 3 season jacket and that's kind of pushing it. other than that it has great looks is well made. i hope this helps and let me know what you think of the re'it since i will be looking for a summer jacket my self not too long from now .Mar 6, 2014
Hey Martin, came here to find out if this would work in a Texas winter. The winter mornings in Central TX are usually 30-40 degrees, and often wet. I currently have a summer jacket that I have to pair with a hoodie, and a thermal, and would like to be able to eliminate those extra layers. Think this would do the trick?

Joel B:Sorry Jong, haven't tried any other jacket (I'm new to the sport riding crowd). Would say that this jacket is definitely not good for hot SoCal weather though. I would recommend getting something with lots of air flow without the rain liner (which makes things a lot warmer).Mar 6, 2014
Steven H:The Alpinestars T-Jaws WP jacket is more breathable than leather but doesn't provide airflow like a mesh jacket. I wouldn't recommend the Alpinestars T-Jaws WP for 90+ degree weather.Mar 6, 2014
Tim L:Not too bad, if you ride past 20 miles per hour its fine on a hot day with the thermal liner removed.. if your going to be sitting in a parking lot hanging out on a 95° day I'd go for something lighter in weight.Dec 23, 2013
alexis c:lol, this is a cool, cold weather jacket . I went out the other day and morning weather it was fine at 60 deg , later during the day temps went up to 70 was it felt like it was 95 .The water proof liner will not flow any air into the jacket , not good in summer weather but great for the cold breeze .Nov 20, 2013
