Alpinestars Quick Seal Out Two-Piece Rain Suit
Great so far.
Bought this for when I took my MSF course, found out it would be raining one of the two riding days. Ended up raining all day and this rain suit did not disappoint. While sitting on the bike for 20-30 mins or driving at slow/moderate speeds i stayed dry all day. Would recommend based on this. I have not driven with it in the rain at highway speeds but I can say with all available straps ties to keep the gear tight against you I would image it will work great. Got mine in high vis yellow since its rain gear and if im wearing it its because its raining which to me requires a higher presence out on the road.

Performed better than expected.
I bought this kit for a 1100 mile motorbike trip. I needed something light to pack and my game plan was to dress in layers due to the trip was going to be through various temperatures.
I ended up having to use the rain suit for 3/4 of the trip.
The suit performed beautifully. It kept out the rain and was breathable.
I would not consider the suit heavy duty but it is perfect if you need to pack light and subscribed to wearing layers. I experienced no tears or stress stretching with the rain suit.
I bought the suit in size small. I used the rain jacket on top of an Astars Verona Jacket size small. I used the rain pants over Rokker Revolution Jeans(they are waterproof but the outer layer gets wet). The rain suit fit perfectly over these items. The astars verona jacket runs tight and is svelte. I doubt the rain jacket would fit over any of my astars leather jackets so a size medium in the rain suit might work better on them.

rain suit came in the nick of time
i live in n.e.fla and we had a big storm earlier in the week .my rain suit came on monday, wore it on tues and weds.i got dumped on tues- big time ! rain suit worked great.dry as a bone.im 5'10" 190 lbs and wear the airglide 4 jacket from olympia-xl and alpinestars oxygen air overpants-lg.ordered a large rain suit and it fit well.it was kinda tough getting the rain jacket on over my riding jacket.it worked better for me to put the rain jacket on over my riding jacket first .then put it all on as one.an xl rain jacket would have been to big on me.pants-no problem.the only con i have is the (don't know what they are called ) little plastic closer things that are used to tighten the waist drawstring up are pretty much useless.i just tied mine.that needs to be upgraded.i ordered the hi viz yellow and it is hi viz !

BUYER BEWARE! This is not a rainsuit!
The Alpinestars Quick Seal Out Two-Piece Rain Suit looks great and fits perfectly. It goes on and comes off very quickly, and the air flow is what you would normally expect from a rain suit.
I have used mine several times in very light rain, and it doesn't keep me as dry as I would expect from a rain suit. Don't get me wrong, my clothes are not getting completely soaked. They're getting slightly damp and the inside liner of the rain jacket and pants are damp as well. I am not talking just about the collar or cuff areas. I'm talking all over. The best way I can describe it is how the inside of a camping tent feels after a rain storm. Unfortunately, it was not until after I used the rain suit that I realized that it doesn't work. Hence, I still need to purchase a rain suit. Unfortunately, I cannot return/exchange this one because it had to be used before I could see if it really worked. I don't blame Revzilla for my situation. They don't manufacture the product ... they sell it. Before purchasing this item, I read all of the reviews that other customers have posted and expected that my experience would match theirs. Obviously, it did not.
I would not recommend paying slightly over $100 for a rain suit that does not actually do what it's suppose to, which is keep you dry.

Color me hi-viz impressed
I bought this suite ahead of a recent trip to Tennessee, and had the opportunity to wear the suite for about 150 miles of the trip in a steady downpour. All in all, the suite kept me dry. Put on, sintched up the neck, adjusted the straps and rode for about 150 miles. I took it off when I got the the hotel and I can report that I was dry. The suite did its job quite well and was a great purchase.

I'm 6' 193lbs and the large fits perfect. I have not yet worn it in the rain so I can't speak for it's protection or air flow. I would guess from the way it's made the protection will be great. With all the Velcro and elastic snug cords the fit is perfect. Although it packs very small you can put it in a gal. zip lock bag and squeeze the air out of it and cut the size down another third and keep it clean. I bought the high vis yellow. I'm not a high vis kind of guy but if I ever want to attract attention to myself it would be on a motorcycle in the rain.

For occasional use this two piece is perfect
I was looking for something light, small, comfortable but effective for those occasions when the weather radar looked patchy. When stuffed in their pouch they are both light and small enough to squash under the seat. The pants have enough room in the leg to wiggle my boots through and the Velcro bands up the calf help keep the flares tight. The jacket is comfortable and goes easily over the leather and the neck is high enough to stop drips down the neck. My only two criticisms, the leg length needs to be a bit longer and there is very little ventilation (ok in my climate but may be no good in high humidity)

YES, it's hi-viz
I hemmed and hawed about buying this in hi-viz. A few reviewers said it's not really hi-viz. If you think this is not hi-viz, you are BLIND. This was a great buy. I haven't tested it yet, but it's exactly what I was hoping it would be. Considering it's Alpinestars, I'm sure it will be great.
