Alpinestars Quick Seal Out Two-Piece Rain Suit
BUYER BEWARE! This is not a rainsuit!
The Alpinestars Quick Seal Out Two-Piece Rain Suit looks great and fits perfectly. It goes on and comes off very quickly, and the air flow is what you would normally expect from a rain suit.
I have used mine several times in very light rain, and it doesn't keep me as dry as I would expect from a rain suit. Don't get me wrong, my clothes are not getting completely soaked. They're getting slightly damp and the inside liner of the rain jacket and pants are damp as well. I am not talking just about the collar or cuff areas. I'm talking all over. The best way I can describe it is how the inside of a camping tent feels after a rain storm. Unfortunately, it was not until after I used the rain suit that I realized that it doesn't work. Hence, I still need to purchase a rain suit. Unfortunately, I cannot return/exchange this one because it had to be used before I could see if it really worked. I don't blame Revzilla for my situation. They don't manufacture the product ... they sell it. Before purchasing this item, I read all of the reviews that other customers have posted and expected that my experience would match theirs. Obviously, it did not.
I would not recommend paying slightly over $100 for a rain suit that does not actually do what it's suppose to, which is keep you dry.

Color me hi-viz impressed
I bought this suite ahead of a recent trip to Tennessee, and had the opportunity to wear the suite for about 150 miles of the trip in a steady downpour. All in all, the suite kept me dry. Put on, sintched up the neck, adjusted the straps and rode for about 150 miles. I took it off when I got the the hotel and I can report that I was dry. The suite did its job quite well and was a great purchase.

I'm 6' 193lbs and the large fits perfect. I have not yet worn it in the rain so I can't speak for it's protection or air flow. I would guess from the way it's made the protection will be great. With all the Velcro and elastic snug cords the fit is perfect. Although it packs very small you can put it in a gal. zip lock bag and squeeze the air out of it and cut the size down another third and keep it clean. I bought the high vis yellow. I'm not a high vis kind of guy but if I ever want to attract attention to myself it would be on a motorcycle in the rain.

For occasional use this two piece is perfect
I was looking for something light, small, comfortable but effective for those occasions when the weather radar looked patchy. When stuffed in their pouch they are both light and small enough to squash under the seat. The pants have enough room in the leg to wiggle my boots through and the Velcro bands up the calf help keep the flares tight. The jacket is comfortable and goes easily over the leather and the neck is high enough to stop drips down the neck. My only two criticisms, the leg length needs to be a bit longer and there is very little ventilation (ok in my climate but may be no good in high humidity)

YES, it's hi-viz
I hemmed and hawed about buying this in hi-viz. A few reviewers said it's not really hi-viz. If you think this is not hi-viz, you are BLIND. This was a great buy. I haven't tested it yet, but it's exactly what I was hoping it would be. Considering it's Alpinestars, I'm sure it will be great.

Does what you need it to.
Not too fancy but pretty much perfect and priced appropriately. It packs up small, dons quick and easy, and keeps you dry. It fits over my other riding gear and the yellow is seriously bright neon! It doesn't breathe very well, but raingear like this never does. It flutters a bit at speed, but not too bad. I wouldn't want to ride all day in it but won't go on a trip without it!

Great put on for rain
I live in Hawaii (don't be jealous!) and it rains a lot, so I got these to upgrade from an old RevIt suit I had. The orange is semaphore/construction orange, so the HIVIZ factor is there, but there's no real protection. They say this is designed to be a pullover your normal gear. I bought medium (that's my size). I don't usually wear any riding gear going to/from work, just my uniform. This fits well over my uniform, but if you wear riding gear, I would highly recommend that you go up a size to ensure it's not too tight. Highly recommend for rainy weather. We have had monsoon rains lately and I have been nice/dry and highly visible to ALL on the road.
