Great Gear!!
I'm a lover of Alpinestars. I'm 5'10 and 195lbs. I do a lot of weight lifting. The jacket will work but the pants are long. I ordered the size Large. I think I can tuck the pants into my over shoes or something. I'll play with it. But excellent quality. The jacket and pants roll up into the stuff sack and takes up MUCH LESS space than my old Motocentric suit. You can put this inside a two liter bottle of soda girth wise, and it might be half as tall. Works slick!

Clever rain suit
It's compact enough to fit under my seat cover for one, and cones in a handy stuff sack. Haven't been able to ride in it yet, but I think it should work for a random rain storm when it does happen. Doesn't vent or breathe, but if it keeps me dry I'll be happy. I'm 5'11" 230lbs and a large fit fine over my gear. Overall this should do the trick!

This rainsuite is terrible
I bought this for a ride from Denver to Miami. Just after two days the suite started to fall apart. The white inside coating was all over my clothes and the pants had a 10 inch hole. Needless to say it did not protect against the rain either. The Velcro on the pants is also useless. They are not strong enough and so the pants start to slide up your shins just after a few minutes. I lost a camera because of this suite and I would not recommend it to anyone who is serious about riding in rain.

Nice!
Great purchase, cannot speak for durability and it does not breathe. Overall very good but time will tell. I wish it had more reflective piping for night viz.

Confortable and effective, though may not be heat-durable
This suit replaces an old Frogg Toggs suit that keeps being borrowed. This packs VERY small, is easy to put on and isvery comfortable. Not quite as breatheaqble as Frogg togs, but more comfortable when riding.
Only 2 detractions. 1. no hood. 2. Wrist closures could be tighter and more secure.
Yes, I'd buy again in the HIGH visibility yellow!!saylr

Just what I hoped it would be
This jacket/pants combo is pretty much just what you'd expect. Handy in a pinch for summer time mesh-gear commuting. Not a lot of airflow, but very waterprooof and lightweight. A few features have really come in handy, like the draw cord at the neck.
I'm 6'1", 175lbs, 42" chest, 34" inseam. The size large easily fit over my armored, mesh jacket and pants, and the rain pants can go on and off over size 12 steel toe work boots (if i'm careful). The high-viz version really pops, perfect for gray, rainy days or an unexpectedly cold night time commute.

Use the sizing chart and take your measurements. They fit a little big so wherever you fall in, order that one. If you need to order a size bigger or size smaller, so be it. It'll cost ya $10 to send it back and they'll send ya another one. No restock fees. :)3 weeks, 4 days ago

The Alpinestars Quick Seal Out Two-Piece Rain Suit comes as a set, so we can't do any mixing and matching. You might consider the Teknic Jet Stream 2-Piece Rain Suit as it comes standard with a hi-viz top and bacl bottom. Or you can purchase separate pieces all together.
