BUYER BEWARE! This is not a rainsuit!
The Alpinestars Quick Seal Out Two-Piece Rain Suit looks great and fits perfectly. It goes on and comes off very quickly, and the air flow is what you would normally expect from a rain suit.

I have used mine several times in very light rain, and it doesn't keep me as dry as I would expect from a rain suit. Don't get me wrong, my clothes are not getting completely soaked. They're getting slightly damp and the inside liner of the rain jacket and pants are damp as well. I am not talking just about the collar or cuff areas. I'm talking all over. The best way I can describe it is how the inside of a camping tent feels after a rain storm. Unfortunately, it was not until after I used the rain suit that I realized that it doesn't work. Hence, I still need to purchase a rain suit. Unfortunately, I cannot return/exchange this one because it had to be used before I could see if it really worked. I don't blame Revzilla for my situation. They don't manufacture the product ... they sell it. Before purchasing this item, I read all of the reviews that other customers have posted and expected that my experience would match theirs. Obviously, it did not.

I would not recommend paying slightly over $100 for a rain suit that does not actually do what it's suppose to, which is keep you dry.

Looks good, lightweight and easy to stash in small spaces
Great looking gear (a little thin, but it is very lightweight so that is a fair tradeoff as far as I'm concerned!# In terms of sizing, the medium fits ok over all of my gear #i.e., leather jacket, kevlar jeans with removable knee armor, boots# and it was is easy to get on. #For reference ,I'm 5'10'' and weigh about 175lbs - the sizing chart is somewhat confusing so hopefully that helps)

Great put on for rain
I live in Hawaii (don't be jealous!) and it rains a lot, so I got these to upgrade from an old RevIt suit I had. The orange is semaphore/construction orange, so the HIVIZ factor is there, but there's no real protection. They say this is designed to be a pullover your normal gear. I bought medium (that's my size). I don't usually wear any riding gear going to/from work, just my uniform. This fits well over my uniform, but if you wear riding gear, I would highly recommend that you go up a size to ensure it's not too tight. Highly recommend for rainy weather. We have had monsoon rains lately and I have been nice/dry and highly visible to ALL on the road.

Saved me on a couple occasions
Quick fit for rain gear. Goes on well over full gear (full boots, riding pants, leather jacket, etc. Light weight and protects well, until you get caught in a 400ml downpour. Love the drawstring behind the neck to prevent those nasty drips from falling in off your helmet. Legs have velcro to tighten around pants and boots, but I am going to add a snap button for a more sturdy connection (after 60mph, that velcro does not want to stay together.)

Breathable, yes, not so well as I had hoped, but protection is more valuable than airflow. I also used this as a wind buffering outer layer on a cold night drive. Helped to manage the temperature and wind force.

Good purchase, but I understand there are less expensive options with similar features. Bought mine in a rush.

Poor Quality seams not for the dedicated commuter
It only lasted me 2 uses before the seams started to leak I the legs. Will not buy again. I ride everyday unless there is snow or ice and need a rain gear that can handle multiple uses and this was not it.

Just what I hoped it would be
This jacket/pants combo is pretty much just what you'd expect. Handy in a pinch for summer time mesh-gear commuting. Not a lot of airflow, but very waterprooof and lightweight. A few features have really come in handy, like the draw cord at the neck.

I'm 6'1", 175lbs, 42" chest, 34" inseam. The size large easily fit over my armored, mesh jacket and pants, and the rain pants can go on and off over size 12 steel toe work boots (if i'm careful). The high-viz version really pops, perfect for gray, rainy days or an unexpectedly cold night time commute.

YES, it's hi-viz
I hemmed and hawed about buying this in hi-viz. A few reviewers said it's not really hi-viz. If you think this is not hi-viz, you are BLIND. This was a great buy. I haven't tested it yet, but it's exactly what I was hoping it would be. Considering it's Alpinestars, I'm sure it will be great.

Does what you need it to.
Not too fancy but pretty much perfect and priced appropriately. It packs up small, dons quick and easy, and keeps you dry. It fits over my other riding gear and the yellow is seriously bright neon! It doesn't breathe very well, but raingear like this never does. It flutters a bit at speed, but not too bad. I wouldn't want to ride all day in it but won't go on a trip without it!

Soaked crotch every ride
This suit is super comfortable and lightweight so it's easy to pack.

Unfortunately the white sealant that coats the inner surface of the pants started to tear away from the taped seams after just a couple of wearings and this results in me getting a soaked crotch every time I ride in the rain. Since then the crotch seam itself has torn open. I'm not a heavy rider. Just a 15 minute commute on the weekdays. It's like the manufacturer forgot that people would be sitting on a motorcycle wearing this suit because the seat and crotch have zero reinforcement.
I should mention that the jacket is still great. I'm just looking for a replacement pair of pants now.

Alpinestars makes good products. It looked like a good compact design, I have used it twice now and it works great. I wish I would of bought the Hi-Vis set simply because when you are in any rainy scenario being visible is key.

Chose the high vis yellow to keep in my bag for afternoon storms in CO. Saw use three times in the first week and still going strong. Packs down small enough into the included bag to always have with me and has been completely waterproof so far. I have worn them in commuting traffic and long distance rides and have been completely happy so far.

I wear a large A* t-gp r jacket. What size would you recommend so it won't be too baggy?
Daniel N on Jul 24, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Daniel,

Aloha! I.m a military guy living in Hawaii and use my rain suit A LOT. I normally wear a medium, but the jacket and pants are a "tight" fit just pulling over my uniform and boots. If you wear large...and will wear this over a motorcycle jacket...I recommend one size up (extra large).

For the medium rain suit I have...thee is NO way I could comfortably wear over my motorcycle jacket. Like I said...I'm a medium sized guy and don't have big shoulders or arms...5' 7" 160lbs and a 32 waist. It's a tight fit with just my combat uniform (Army cammies and boots). If I had to buy again I would go large for myself.

Hope this helps. Aloha Ray
I have an A* Celer jacket (EU 50). Would the medium rain suit fit over the jacket or would I have to go a size up to fit over the hump?
A shopper on Apr 23, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I own this Alpine Stars wet-suit and I would recommend you get a large if you're going to wear it over a jacket. I'm 5' 7" and weigh 155, and wear medium shirts / jackets. I wear this rain suit over my military uniform only, and it fits "just right." I don't think that I could get it over my motorcycle jacket without it restricting my ability to move my arms. I'm not a big guy, so this is my recommendation.
Hi, I use an Astar viper air jacket size Large. What size should I get to wear over my jacket?
Jimmy Y on Jan 5, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Jimmy - I have the Viper Air in Large and also wear the Astars Quick Seal Out 2pc suit in Large. It fits great over your gear and goes on quickly when the rain hits. I'm 5'10", 175lbs. Hope this helps. Chris
Does this product have waterproof pockets?
Arian O on Jul 31, 2014
BEST ANSWER: No it does not. I have had this suit for approx one year. It is small and lightweight and packs easily. I live on Maui in the rainforest sop this thing gets allot of use in the winter. My only complaint is the lack of something to tighten around the wrists I solved this with Velcro straps or rubber bands. The wrist elastic was a bit large. Though admittedly I am a smaller person.
would this fit over motor cycle gear? I am considering buying the Klim Rally Air and wondering if this would fit over it
A shopper on Feb 23, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I wouldn't be able to wear this over my motorcycle jacket unless it was a size bigger. I would recommend sizing up by one if you're going to wear a jacket. I'm a smaller guy and wear medium...this jacket is a "just right fit" over my military uniform jacket when I ride...if I had my moto jacket on, it wouldn't fit.
Does this have a hood?
A shopper on Jan 27, 2015
BEST ANSWER: No hood, but on an MC a hood just flaps around. If you MUST have a hood, maybe look at the Icon Rain jacket. That has a hood, but is a much bulkier jacket, so doesn't fit into my Backpack as nicely as this does.
will this melt if touches the the hot pipes on bike?
A shopper on Jul 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I would imagine so if you left it there, but I've never had that happen after more than a year of heavy use. It says it's 100% polyamide if that means anything. For the price and packability though, tough to beat.
hello,

I'd like to know the exact measurements of the carry bag as I have a supernaked bike and i'm not sure that it would fit under my seat?

A shopper on Jun 19, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi.
l have the alpinestars bum bag & thay fit in that + boot covers with no problems at all. They should fit under your seat.
I hope this helps.
Thanks Gavin
I'm wearing an Alpinestar Atem Leather Jacket US size 38. I'm 6'1 tall. Base on their size chart I should be getting a size M but I'm afraid with the back aero hump it won't fit. Any ideas?
A shopper on Nov 16, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I'm using a touring jacket 38 and my rain suit is Smal. The rain suit is enough biggest to it will use.
Hi guys, I wear a size EU56 Hades Jacket and EU54 track pants. Would a XL or 2XL be best to fit over this gear?
Regards,

A shopper on Jul 6, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Excellent rain suit, the only thing I notice is that with a very heavy rain below the pants are wet, maybe a sealant strips and ready.
