Alpinestars Bionic Air Back Protector Insert
Fits Well via Smart Design
The webbing on the inside makes it a snug fit that you can barely feel. It's also incredibly light. It's a little on the pricey side, but it's also not just a piece of simple honeycomb plastic either.

Good protector - But don't buy it
I'll leave this review short and sweet: Buy the new Nucleon back protector instead. Unfortunately I didn't realize the Nucleon existed until I browsed the 'New Products' section a week after I had been riding with this protector, and support will not allow me to return it.
The Nucleon is CE Level 2 armor for less than $50.
In my opinion Revzilla should discontinue this product and promote the newer, superior product, especially since it's less expensive as well.

A must have!
Perfect fit into a GP Pro and JAWS jacket. Once installed, it basically disappears. It's hardly noticeable while riding. Include the chest protectors and you've got a complete solution! Thanks A-Star!

Great addition to your jacket...
Great extra protection, that fits perfect in your jacket and once you put on the jacket, you don't feel it's there.

I had read a couple reviews that stated this added weight and stiffness to your jacket. After using it several times I honestly don't notice any difference. I don't know why this isn't the standard protection in Alpinestars jackets as the pad that was in my jacket was worthless.

I'm a fan of this back protector. I bought this with my jacket and I couldn't be happier.

What more could you ask for?
Got two of these for my large Alpinestars Gunner and T GP R Air jackets. The medium fit great for both. Material seems solid and should do the job. Hardly know it's there though it adds a little weight and slightly decreases air flow but better than a broken back!
