Akrapovic Evolution Exhaust Ducati S4R/S 2006-2008

Akrapovic has developed an Evolution complete exhaust system for the most powerful Monster in the range, which beautifully complements this already extremely well-equipped machine. The system is designed for riders who know the value of product quality, a major performance increase and the renown of the Akrapovic brand, and who expect the maximum from their exhaust system. We shouldn’t forget to mention the HEXAGONAL muffler, which looks especially good on the RS.

Power & Torque:  the Akrapovic Evolution system is a revelation compared to just the Slip-On system. The boost in performance is massive, as you can see from the power and torque curves, with the increase covering the entire rpm range. The improvement is felt most strongly at the low end, and in keeping with the character of an Evolution system, at the high end and at the top of the range. At 9700 rpm we measured a huge 131.4 HP. Maximum increased power was 9 HP at 8600 rpm.

Features:

• Outlet cap, perforated inner sleeve and inlet cap are all made of titanium
• Joint of the inlet cap is milled on a state-of-the-art CNC machine and connected by high-quality silicon-shielded tempered springs
• Include a lightweight, compact and high-temperature-resistant carbon-fiber muffler clamp
• Conical or cylindrical shaped, hydroformed header and link pipe are made of stainless steel or titanium; type of construction is based on maximum increase in performance
• Crossover tubes may be installed based on the results of testing
• Most models come with preinstalled fitting for lambda connection
• Ceramic anti-seizing grease, made especially for use with titanium, is used to prevent seizing, corrosion and excessive wear of parts of the exhaust system made of titanium (due to vibration and extreme temperatures)
• When the position of the exhaust system needs to be changed and the stock bracket is no longer usable a carbon fiber bracket is included
• Evolution Kit systems are available for select models; intended only for races that allow louder exhaust systems -107 dB
• Evolution Kit systems feature a 300mm muffler, high-mount design and include a carbon fiber muffler mounting bracket
