Vance & Hines Shortshots Staggered Exhaust for Harley
The Shortshots Staggered exhaust delivers a quality full system for less than you would pay for most slip-ons. With 1-3/4” head pipes stepped to 2-1/8” muffler bodies and 2-1/2” 220° coverage heat shields, dollar for dollar, this is an unbeatable system. Optional quiet baffles available for a throaty exhaust note and reduction of 3-5 dB in the sound level.
Short, straight pipe look with signature twin slash-cut ends
Great product for great price
Can't say enough good about these pipes. Were shipped to me in two days for a price no one can beat. Install went pretty smooth even with the confusing instructions. Be careful not drop exhaust nuts cause they find the best hiding spots. These are definitely loud and quiet baffles may be needed but I'll see how many complaints I get first. With need high flow intake and fuel pak with this.

This product looks and sounds great. I highly recommmnd it.
Upon purchase of this product, i did a lot of homework on which exhust system i wanted. At looking at several options i decided to go with the Vance and Hines short shots. They look and sound even better. They gave my sportster 48 a completly different look and sound.

I'm planning to buy a 2016 Forty Eight at the beginning of next year. Furthermore I'd like to get a whole Stage I Kit (Exhaust, Air-Cleaner, Fuel Management). I'm thinking of buying the Short Shots with the FP3 but I'm not sure about the Air-Intake. I like the design of RSD Venturi and the V&H Grenade but I'm not sure which one performs the best or is there a better air-cleaner that would fit better to the combination with the Short Shots and the 48? Thanks so far, PhilSep 29, 2015
I'm planning to buy a 2016 Forty Eight in the beginning of 2016 and would like to get the short shots on my new ride too. I'm thinking to get a whole Stage I Kit (Fuel Management, Exhaust and Air Intake). My Question is now: What Air Intake works best with the Short Shots+FP3 on the new Sportster 48 (2016)? I was looking at the RSD Venturi and the V&H Grenade but I'm open to other brands/parts if they perform better with the short shots. Thanks so far. Phil.Sep 29, 2015
