sooo har to find these things
I have two the carbon and matte black and both medium these things are hard to find i had to wait pretty close to a year before I could find a medium in matte black. put it on your wish list and sign up for the notification and dont hesitate when one shows up. i love these helmets but it is unfortunate that they are hard to get a hold of so if i lose one or damage one im afraid ill never be able to replace it. Hopefuly they make a new version in the future before these get destroyed. now if i could only find a pair of MVD raceware Victory supermoto pants in a large and in black.

Best Helmet Ever
I been on a dirt bike since I was 3 and for the last 30 years Ive owned a lot of Mx helmets and streetbike helmets every color and every make. The Airoh is by far the best and lightest I have ever owned! I have had it all summer and love it will not by another kind of helmet unless Airoh comes out with some thing to top this witch will be hard to do. When I was in the market for a new helmet I tried on Shoei which was my 1st choice and aria and Bell and then I tried on a Airoh Aviator 2.1 and it fit like a glove and felt like it only weighed that much. Supper happy with the helmet best helmet for the Money by far........

So I delayed posing my review until I have some riding time in Airoh. So far, I had a chance at few MX andone trail rides.
overall, I rate this helmet as outstanding with best features being:
light weight. like in really light. I used to have sore neck after long rides, but not anymore. did I mention that helmet is light?
super comfortable and easy to clean. at least on par with Arai if not bettter.
solid fit and finish and good protection.
Great, modern looks and small overall shell size.
I do not have any issues with goggles fitting.
now for the downers..very very minor issues, but there are some.
it comes with gopro mount for the top, awesome but c'mon! you can't use top mounted camera for trail/enduro riding, first branch with take your go pro out along with your head and there is no good spot to mount gopro on the side. you can make it work, but it will not be perfect.
second, I lost small nose piece on the first outing. need to figure out how to replace it, but i am not even sure what it was for..

Duy S:Yes the opening is a little tight, I wear Dragon NFX which are on the large side due to the frameless design but they still fit. The only real issue is I had to remove the nosepiece on the goggles because I wanted to use the Airoh nosepiece, but I found that the goggles won't slide directly into the opening. I have to tilt the goggles a little for it to fit through but once they are in they fit snug against my face.
agustin l:Hi! I baught the airoh aviator 2.1 about a year ago, and I can tell you it is definitely the best helmet you can buy. I had AGV, Bell and Shoei. They are all very good helmets, but the main difference is how much lighter this one is, after a while you really feel the difference. If you pay attention to the "Dakar" race, the most frequently used helmet is the Airoh Aviator, both in motorcycle and atv. This tells us that first of all, it must be very safe, and what I can add is that due to the weight and aerodynamics, it feels like if you had nothing in your head. If you can, the Dragon nfx goggles combine perfectly with this helmet, they fit as if they were specially made and it feels like it is a steet helmet.
Good luck and don't hesitate in buying the Airoh aviator!Jan 13, 2015
Walter K:It depends on what you want most out of the helmet. If weight is an issue, then certainly the Airoh Aviator is the lightest and a great helmet. It's also expensive. If you're just a casual ATV rider, Airoh has versions less than half the price of the Aviator and the protection is just as good. This helmet has the race guy in mind to reduce fatigue by being light. If that's you this helmet is awesome. Replacement parts are a little pricey.Jan 13, 2015
