Get something else
Look like they would give good protection if you go down and thanks to the inferior design you just might! The problem is when you bend your knees the bottom of the inner knee cup has a little lip that is supposed to act as a catch and keep it from extending past the top of the lip on the shin guard but it doesn't work instead it comes out past the lip on the shin guard, Result: the knee guards lock in that position and you can't straighten your leg back out. Not only is this inconvenient but it can creat a very unsafe situation. The last thing you need when riding is protective gear that creates and unsafe distraction quite possibly resulting in a crash. Save your money and get something better You'll be glad you did.

Overall a good product, just some small issues.
Good: well-protected, well made, movement of articulation, simple straps for easy on-off, removable and washable liner, forget I am wearing them sometimes.
Bad: bulky (but will fit under a pair of loose jeans), scratchy (although this is going away), tend to ride down after a bit of walking, not much air flow, can't hug the tank with my knees anymore.
Summary: Perfect if you want something that will protect your knees at an affordable price. Obviously not for knee dragging.
When I walk around in these I feel like robocop lol.

Great stuff
Great stuff! I bought these knee guards keeping in mind the protection needed and also the fit. I read up countless reviews on these and finally decided to get these. First impressions - looks great and the material used is top notch. I love the way the straps are designed. You can set them to the fit you want and then forget all about it. The next time, you will just have to snap the holder in place - no more playing around with the straps. Rode around with them worn under my riding pants - also bought at Revzilla and they don't feel too warm.
Would certainly recommend them.

Good Buy
Hard to beat for the money. Provides great coverage, stays in place fairly well. I'm 6'1" and the top comes halfway up my thigh. When riding on the bike I had no comfort issues. Off the bike, standing straight legged there was some slight digging in the shin area, and occasionally noticed the rivets/snaps or what not. It flexed well with my knee, with it positioned properly I had no problems kneeling, With that said I had no problem keeping them on for 4-5 hrs. After I pulled them off you could see all the clear plastic fogged up w/ sweat.

Excellent Fit, great protection! Definitely Recommend.
Couldn't be more happier!! I bought the Alpinestarts Bionic SX Knee Guard, way too loose ( you can read the review on that product ) So ended up returning that and got the MSR. Fit is excellent, the straps feel very secure. The memory foam pad on the inside feels great on the knees, excellent ventilation ( I wore it over the jeans and just this on my knees for a short spin ). Product is very compact and fits like how a race jacket should fit.
Over all very impressed with the quality and fit. ( I'm 5' 11" and 174 pounds, medium/skinny built ). There was good amount of strap left so even if you have thick legs this may fit very well.
