Woodcraft 6mm / 8mm Slider Spools
Easy install, look just fine.
These are simple to install, but I had a little issue with one of them. They didn't screw in as easy as I had hoped. They kept wanted to turn rather than go straight.
No matter, they are installed and have a great catch area for the Pitbull stand.

work great with the woodcraft spool lift, good quality

I chose these because they were cheap and simple, I only use them when I need to work on the bike rear. However ive probably lifted bike 10 times and the spools still look new, and screw on and off at a moments notice.

Simple and effective.
Installed on my 2005 R6. Very easy installation (just the two bolts). Haven't laid it down on the track yet to see if they slide good, but they do work good with my stand though.

OK if they fit your bike
The fitment chart indicated these would fit the 2013-2014 Triumph Speed Triple R but it isn't even close. Rather than send them back which I probably couldn't anyway since they were an open box item, I had my neighbor mill a flat on the side of the spool next to the frame and with a little further hand filing I got them installed. So caveat emptor!"

Looks good, works well.
Not a whole lot to say - I got my spools a couple of weeks ago. Took all of two minutes to locate the holes on the swing-arm of my Street Triple and attach them. They look good on the bike and provide a nice stable connection point for my rear stand. I hope never to test the slider part of the slider spool out!

Not a single issue with the install, no issues with adding the rear stand. Just a great product all around.

Does exactly what you need it to do
I love these spools and won't buy anything else:
- They are user-friendly shape: easy for one person to put his/her bike up on a track stand
- The shims are countersunk so that the spool itself will not rub against your swingarm
- The use of shims means that you can use the same spools on different bikes with different bolt sizes, for example, if you sell a bike you can keep the spools for your new one regardless of swingarm bolt diameter
- I crashed on the ones I bought from Revzilla and they totally helped to protect my S1000RR. The frame slider, handlebar weight, case cover, footpeg and swingarm spool were the contact points against the road and they all did a great job
The only feedback I would have for Woodcraft is to perhaps make them a little bit harder. The plastic material wares away quickly against the road (my crash was only about 40mph and half of the spool is gone). I know the 'softness' can be seen as a good thing, but I don't think these would have been as effective in an 80mph crash. Also, if you have a stand with narrow lifting forks, they can easily cut into the softer plastic over time - this happens with my other bike for which I use a lower-quality stand... for now!
Great product overall.
If I can get back into this review later, I'll add a pic of the spool that saved my S1000RR!
