Best Kids Jacket Ever Made! I bought this for my 8yr old son who loves riding with me. I bought him a small and with the adjustable straps on the jacket we sized it down to him perfectly and he has a few years to outgrow it. I love that it comes with armor included also. Get this for your kid so they can be as protected as we are riding. March 17, 2015
Great jacket for the young ones This jacket is a great for the kids if you follow the ATGATT way of life and you give a ride (even a short one) to your most precious cargo. My kid loves the style and the feeling, I believe the air flow is good (even better than my klim overland at least). Still we haven't tested under a heavy rain, but slight rain stays out of the garment. The protection on elbows are fine, the ones in the shoulders I found them small. The only con I saw immediately was the back protector, it is a foamy joke I removed it and replaced with a real one. I think it is skewed to being large about sizing. Which is not completely a bad thing, because of the rate the kids grow. My boy is 10 and the medium (8 to 10) fits with a leatt youth body protector underneath this jacket and still there is some room. It is fine though. Definitively a great quality jacket. Only street jacket for kids If you are looking for a kids street jacket this is it. It's a quality jacket. I would highly recommend because if I didn't there is no other jacket to buy September 3, 2014
Just what we needed. It's really hard to find riding gear for my 8 year old son, fortunately we found this jacket here. It fits him fairly well (slightly large) and he like the styling which is a plus. The only thing I wish that was different is the color options. I wish there were more lighter colors. Living in Arizona, when it get's up over 100, He's going to wish it was White rather than Black/Tan. Also, It seems like it will have enough airflow with all the vents open and removable liner out, which is a plus for an AZ rider. March 17, 2014
Excellent youth jacket A well-appointed and nicely detailed jacket for a child. My son loves to go for rides with me and I wanted to find a decent motorcycle jacket with sufficient protection for him, but was also comfortable. Better yet, the jacket should be something he would want to wear. This works on all counts. He loves it and I feel much better knowing he is wearing a jacket that will offer good protection should he need it. January 13, 2014
great kids jacket Got this for my 10 year old son and he likes wearing it. No complaints about fit. I like that it has armor. Very similar to my Alpinestars Lucerne jacket. June 13, 2013
Great product for young riders. One of the few armored jackets for youth riders. This jacket has excellent fit and finish. My son loves this jacket. Good ventilation, easy operation of pockets and zippers, and comfortable for lengthy rides. Recommend this jacket for all the little ones who wish to ride with Mom or Dad. May 25, 2013
Product was what I expected, received faster than expected My 5 year old rides with me, I bought this to give her a more protection for the next few years. It is a bit large on her now, but I expected that based on the descriptions, however I haven't found anybody making a smaller size. It seems like a pretty reasonable textile jacket with nice features for the money, I hope we don't ever have to test the durability. April 22, 2013

dean f: I bought this jacket for my 8 year old. He's almost 5' tall and weighs about 65-70lbs. It fits him fine right now. It looks like I might get next year out of it too but not much more. I'd say with your son being the size he is and only 6 that it might be a tad big on him now but I'll guess you'll still be happy you bought it. It's a nice jacket and he should grow into it. Hope this helps a little. Jan 14, 2014

Robert C: I bought this jacket for my son. He's 4' 10" and 10 years old. I bought the youth large. I tried this on my daughter who's 4' 4". The large is definately too big, but medium might do. Overall, the jacket is great. Quality is excellent. The shoulder and elbow armor feel like they would provide good protection in a fall. The back pad however is very small and thin. Jan 13, 2014

Yasumi K: My kid is 149cm and 39kg. Sleeves, jacket length fit fine. Still room left so not tight at all.
I can't remember exactly where but I checked size chart on the web page. I'm a Japanese and we use different size indication from us or Europe. So I need to check the chart before I purchase.
I hope this help you a bit.

Todd J: This jacket runs a little bit large. I got a medium for my son, who is 10, but he is on the small side. He usually wears a Medium jacket or shirt (size 8/10). This jacket is a little large on him, especially the sleeves, which is fine. It should fit perfectly by summer. If your son is a 6, I'd go with the small. Jan 13, 2014

Ronald M: Buy the jacket in the same size that you would normally buy a regular jacket for your son, i.e. if he wears a medium winter coat or denim jacket, then the youth medium will fit. My son is 11 and he is in a youth large, after that it moves to an extra small adult which expands your choices greatly. Jan 14, 2014

MATTHEW J: My daughter is 6, generally wears size 6 and the small is big on her. The size tag on the actual jacket says 'Youth SM 6 - 8' and it wouldn't surprise me at all if she had several years left in it. Jan 13, 2014

Michael H: Size small will fit. It has straps that make it smaller to their bodies. You will not be disappointed. Mar 17, 2015
