In ordering a boot that would fit my size 14 foot, I was leary about purchasing a pair over the internet without knowing how well they would fit. To my surprise, the boots fit perfectly. Their comfort is good for a boot. The buckle over the front is for asthetics only, but they add to the style of the boot.
Since the boots are stiff, due to them being new, I tried using the back loop to pull one of the boots on. One of the loops broke, which was quite disappointing. The quality of the loop is not as good as the rest of the boot. It is just a thin piece of leather looped back with minimal stitching. I don't think it was meant for actual use.
The buckled strap across the front can interfere with the loosening of the boot, making it a little more difficult in getting it on and off. The boots aren't broken in yet, so this may change. The boots are stiff and clunky at first, but they seemed to have gotten easier to walk in with the more I wear them.
Overall, it's a nice looking product, comfortable and functional. I would recommend this product for the money.

Nice boot, fits right, feels good, looks good. Biggest concern is the use of man made materials in the upper. The toe box, heel, shoe string restrainer strap, and pull loop are leather. Some type of material that hopefully is either kevlar or some other type of super tough material (which is not a bad thing)can be found around the ankles. The tongue is the area that has been skimped on, it is half and half leather and some type of cheap manmade material (though well stitched together). The single set of speed laces on the boot don't seem to be anything but aesthetic and the strings fall off the speed lace eyelet if you don't pay attention when you tie the boots on. The stitch quality is good, no boogers or missing/loose stitches are apparent, and it's nice that the string retainer strap is riveted on, implies ruggedness. If the speed lace eyelets where improved and the tongue was all leather I would give the boot 5 stars. Really a sharp boot. Only time will tell if they are rugged but I am hopeful.
