My husband loves it!
I bought this jacket for my husband for his birthday and he loves it! The fit is just right, it's durable and functional. The leather weight is good and easy to unzip into the mesh. The only problem is where do to store it on a sport bike as the leather is in one full piece, other than that is an amazing jacket.

One Jacket that does it all.
I chose this jacket because I ride in an area where the temperature can vary greatly during a single ride. The option of removing the leather panel when the temperature rises to create a mesh jacket is very handy. What I like about the Super Ego versus a standard textile mesh jacket is that even with the panel removed, you still have leather in the outer arms and shoulders for abrasion resistance. The overall construction of the jacket is very high quality with no defects that I could find. As a mesh jacket, it allows for air flow very well, with the exception of under the back protection pad. I may later upgrade to the CE armor, which appears to be more open for airflow. (Plus better armor is always a good thing.) The fit of the jacket is good, but I wish the torso were an inch or two longer. (If I lose twenty pounds and get rid of my gut, that could fix the issue as well). Both the jacket and leather panel have built in waist adjusters so you don't have to readjust the waist when removing the panel; however, the elbow adjusters do have to be reset, which is easily done. In my opinion the jacket looks awesome too.

Great concept
I’m a little disappointed in the fit. I normally wear XL; I had to exchange the first one for a 2XL. The XL was much too tight in the waist and arms even with the adjusters all the way out.
The 2XL fits well in the waist and shoulders but the sleeves are too long. This is why I give it a 4 on size. As popular as Joe Rocket is they need to get it right in the sizing.
That said, I ride a cruiser without a windshield and I recently went on a day trip that started out cool in the morning; the leather and snug fit kept me well protected and warm. By midafternoon the weather was hot; some of the guys with windshields were stripping down to T-Shirts. I zipped off the outer shell and was perfectly comfortable and still felt protected. By the time the sun went down it was cool again and guys were putting jackets back on; I zipped the outer shell back on and was warm again. The outer shell zipped off folds up very compact and tied on neatly to the back of the sissy-bar. This is what I chose the jacket for. So for performance I give it a 5 for fit I have to give it a 2 considering that Joe Rocket is a big company and can do better on the sizing if they try.
I highly recommend it with a correct fit.

Great 3 season jacket!
Love the protection, and the air-flow in the summer, and when it gets cooler it is just like having a leather jacket. I throw a fleece under the jacket, and it is good for all but the coldest days!
