SIDI Vertigo Boots
These boots are not made for walking...
...But you don't really care about walking in them, do you? Once you've hobbled to your bike, though, they are absolutely wonderful - like a second skin! A tough skin with plating, great heat insulation, and a very responsive feel. Form most definitely follows function with these boots and while I do tease a little about their unsuitability for walking in, I can still manage a day standing or walking around at work. I wouldn't try a hike in them, but average movement around the shops, etc. is fine once you get used to them. The toe-box is very tight and makes my feet ache for quite a while afterwards, but it's a small price to pay. They are well-vented and as good in rain as any normal workboot. Durability is fantastic and looks are spectacular. Completely worth the price!

Great boots, very comfortable
I took these to my first track day last weekend and they were great. Very comfortable, great feel, though a little hot. Over-all I'm very happy and would buy another pair.

Beautiful boot, great protection
I just got these this week and have worn them once, so my views may change over time. My first impression with the boots upon opening the box was that these are very high quality and stylish boots. I can't detect a single flaw in any of the leather or hard parts of the boots and the materials all appear to be of the highest quality. When I put them on, they fit just right and felt very comfortable. The one feature that I found to be useless is the adjustment on the calf section. I don't think I have particularly skinny calfs, but the boots are big enough at the top that I have quite a bit of slack even with the adjustment at the minimum setting. Maybe it will be different with riding pants, but I'm not sure yet.
I took a close look at the protective parts and I'm very pleased with what I got. I've had two relative that wrecked their lower legs in motorcycle accidents, but I feel confident that these boots will keep me from meeting the same fate.
I decided to wear the boots on my evening dog walk of about 3/4 mile just to see how they are for walking and to help break them in a bit. Although comfortable enough, they are not hiking boots! I did have an issue with each boot rubing on the inside of my calfs where the zippers are. The design looks good and there are no hard parts exposed on the inside, but the material is a little bit abrasive and given that the top of the boot is a little loose on me (as stated above), I had some chaffing. I will just wear very long socks in the future when I have these boots on and I'm sure I won't have that problem again.

These boots are great. Comfortable too. I have the lows and now these style. I love them both. Must have for those days of hard riding. Protection is everything

First, I feel this boot runs a little on the larger size. Not a full size larger like some others (Stylmartin) but approximately a half size.
I rode to and from work daily in this boot for nearly a year, in addition to evening and weekend rides. These things wore in beautifully, had good airflow, were confidence-inspiring when on the bike, we're okay to walk around in (but not excellent), and offered good rain protection for a boot not billed as a rain boot.
As for the style, that's up to you. I thought the style was awesome but that was because I liked the aggressive motorcycle boot look when I chose to wear these. If yo're expecting them to blend away under a jean, they don't. That said, I often wore Icon reinforced jeans when riding and these did fit under the jeans despite pushing out a little near the top of the boot when walking. They do not fit under today's more slim cut jeans.
Based on my experience, I will own another pair of SiDi riding boots.

Great but mine squeak
First, got mine within two days of my order. That was wholly unexpected but greatly appreciated. They are comfortable, easy to walk in, fit well and look great. The two side vents on the foot of the boot do not provide an enormous amount of airflow.
My boots however squeak. As I walk there is the irritating "squeak squeak" that hopefully over time will dissipate.

The only issue I had was squeaking while walking so I applied chain lube onto the moving parts and they've been silent since.

An amazing all around boot!
As the headline says. "It's an amazing all around boot" this boot is great for those who are on the track as well as off the track, doing commuting and riding through the twisties.
Upon receiving my Sidi Vertigo boots I was amazed at the boots stood out. The video and pictures just don't do it enough justice on how amazing these look. Upon trying them on I was able to easily slide my foot in and get the rear calf adjustment locked in nearly instantly. As I walked in them the feel felt really similar to those of my Ariat boots I have for general use around the yard.
I could easily use them for walking in good amounts while still not having any pressure or loose areas around my foot. The boot are snug and I would easily recommend for those in the half sizes to move up a size higher for more breathable comfort.
Great part about these boots is on easily able to slip my wranglers boot cut over them with little hassle. Truly a great boot to have for those casual rides where you want some protection but not overly espically on those hot days in traffic!
While riding there is very minimal air flow through the side vents and is feelable. But overall everything a out this boot is amazing and I wouldn't look back to any other boot. Simply amazing!
