The Vertigo was created after an arduous 2+ year development period with lofty goals in mind. The boot had to push the technology of the sport road boot segment to an even higher level than the legendary Vertebra series. They are designed to be the best, no matter the cost. The Vertigo series of boots has achieved all that and much more!

Shock Absorbing Heel Cup: Three stage, shock absorbing heel cup molded in three different densities of plastic is one element that sets the Vertigo series apart from all other sport boots. This system offers a built in shock absorbing range of 3mm. The heel cups internal area is also fully lined with impact resistant thousand-air cell memory foam for and extra level of comfort and protection.

Lining: Each Vertigo series boot is lined throughout with lightweight perforated Teflon treated fabric in order to allow moisture to “breath” out to the Lorica outer and dry quickly with no mold build up in the long term. Additionally the inner ankle area of all Vertigo series boots are flly lined with Sidi’s own formula of perforated closed thousand-air cell memory foam. A totally breathable lining system.

Tecno VR System: The Vertigo series of boots are the only race boots to offer a patented Tecno VR adjustable calf system designed to accommodate calves of virtually any size in a clean, supportive and protective design. With a simple adjustment of the Tecno knob the internal onofilament line will evenly close and wrap the boot around the riders calf in micro adjustments for a perfect fit. A maximum adjustment of 5cm is provided.

Replaceable Shin Deflector and Scuff Pad: The Vertigo Series offers interchangeability with its front shin guard and toe scuff pads. Choose from carbon or nylon shin piece, and either a ceramic or nylon toe scuff.

Air Vent System: Both the Vertigo Corsa and Vertigo employ an air ventilation system that can be opened or closed with a touch of a button depending upon a riders needs. This Malleolus guard on the outer edge of each boot also protects the small and vulnerable foot bones.

Composite Inner Sole: The composite inner sole of Sidi boots resists side to side compression offering greater protection compared to the leather inner soles that our competitors use. The insole features a removable arch support and will never lose its dynamic characteristics, even after months of intense use; it is water resistant and is designed to withstand high footpeg pressures.

Replaceable Parts: Every bolt on component of each Vertigo boot is available separately. Riders can change the various components to replace items that have worn or have been damaged in a crash.

Lorica reg;: Boots outer is fully constructed with Lorica a composite micro fiber material created from strands less than one thousandth the thickness of silk. When injected with special resins, these fibers act like natural leather skin, but with the addition of better strength, softer texture, lighter weight and better moisture protection. Lorica is also highly resistant to abrasion – yet it still breathes – with more than three million pores per square centimeter. Easy to maintain, Lorica doesn’t stain and can’t be scratched and offers, reduced weight, more flexibility and more feel than leather racing boots.

Pros:
-Detailed craftsmanship.
-Side air-flow vents work.
-Foot protection is solid.
-Calf adjustment system is extremely useful.
-Replaceable parts.
-The feel for foot controls are not lost even with all the included protection.
-Does not look like a big boot. The black version looks subtle when worn under boot-cut jeans.
Neutral:
-While it fits true to size lengthwise, it is a bit narrow at the forefoot area. I wear a US 9.5 (regular width) and chose the 43. The fit and comfort is great with thin business socks, but too tight with athletic socks. The boots are still new and not broken-in. Hopefully it will add a bit of give once it does.
-Very comfortable when riding though I'd probably bring a change in footwear if I'll be doing a fair bit of walking.
Cons:
-Side air-flow vents do not appear to be replaceable.
Still, it's a superb looking boot offering excellent protective support. I highly recommend it as a staple in anyone's riding gear. Sidi's are a good way to go.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I received my Sidi's and I love them. They are very comfortable and already feel broken in. I usually wear a Size 13 Shoe though I had to order a half size smaller. This boot is comfortable enough to wear and walk around all day.

After reading all the reviews of this boot and watching Revzilla's videos. I had to get this boot. I replaced the insole with superfeet insoles and these boots fit awesome. The adjustable back is nice for people with larger calves. I am one of those people. The footbed is also a little narrower, but closer to average than stating it is narrow. The vent on the side allows adequate air to flow. I've worn them going up and down stairs and you won't want to be in them for 8 hours, but are more than adequate for a quick jaunt through the mall. They fit great under jeans and fit great over track pants. If you have the extra coin, spend it on these. You won't be disappointed.

Fits great, looks awesome. I do get some scuffs on the upper plastic area. These were my first race boots. I had to relearn my shifting motion because these grip the peg alot more then my sneakers, also I had to adjust the shifter for a larger opening for my toes. I have not rode in hot weather so I can not say. So far so good up to 70 degree and down to 40 degrees. Comfortable to stand, I wouldn't walk around all day with them tho.
Pros Fashionable, Comfortable, Looks awesome, Great Value, Rugged
Cons Scuffs Easily

From Texas
They fit great, albeit a bit narrow, but I went 11.5 (46) to ensure no pain (normally I am an 11) - got some jiggle room in there, but no pain, and plenty snug with thicker socks for colder weather. I may have faired a bit better going true size at 11, but pretty sure it would have been tight with the thick socks. I was worried I would look stupid running around town with those big honkers on the heel, but really no one cares and they are a safety feature (I wear them under jeans). The ratchet down feature does me no good untucked since my skinny calves don't fill them out, but it might actually make for a cooler boot in the summer - it's not a deal breaker, my calves are 14.5" in diameter, would probably take 16-17" calves to fill em untucked.
Finally, they are armored in some areas and very thin in others, I gotta trust that I am protected and the thin areas are for necessary comfort and feel. They shift really great, I am glad I spent the extra coin.
Also, I saw some A-Star race boots at the motorcycle shop and they were like super thick armored and non-flexible, not sure if this represents a traditional race boot approach, but I would not have liked those since pretty sure they would have no feel at all and would have been pretty hot. The Sidis seem to strike a good balance between comfort and protection.

From EDGEWATER
Great pair of boots! I love the looks, and it fits fairly well. I do have a bit narrow feet and skinny calves, and my feet fit perfectly like it was made for me specifically! However, there is a bit of room in my calves even with the adjustable calves support all the way in. Not too bothersome, and if I do put my pants in, it fits better.
I did have a very minor issue with it, in that the toe sliders on my right-side boot did not match up flushly with the bool like my left side. But this is just a minor visual thing.
Overall, I would highly recommend this boot.

In my opinion, the Dainese Torque/TRQ lineup will have the most adjustability due to the velcro and rear-entry zippers.
