SIDI Vertigo Boots Videos

Sidi Vertigo Boots

The Vertigo was created after an arduous 2+ year development period with lofty goals in mind. The boot had to push the technology of the sport road boot segment to an even higher level than the legendary Vertebra series. They are designed to be the best, no matter the cost. The Vertigo series of boots has achieved all that and much more.

Shock Absorbing Heel Cup: Three stage, shock absorbing heel cup molded in three different densities of plastic is one element that sets the Vertigo series apart from all other sport boots. This system offers a built in shock absorbing range of 3mm. The heel cups internal area is also fully lined with impact resistant thousand-air cell memory foam for and extra level of comfort and protection.

Lining: Each Vertigo series boot is lined throughout with lightweight perforated Teflon treated fabric in order to allow moisture to “breath” out to the Lorica outer and dry quickly with no mold build up in the long term. Additionally the inner ankle area of all Vertigo series boots are flly lined with Sidi’s own formula of perforated closed thousand-air cell memory foam. A totally breathable lining system.

Tecno VR System: The Vertigo series of boots are the only race boots to offer a patented Tecno VR adjustable calf system designed to accommodate calves of virtually any size in a clean, supportive and protective design. With a simple adjustment of the Tecno knob the internal monofilament line will evenly close and wrap the boot around the riders calf in micro adjustments for a perfect fit. A maximum adjustment of 5cm is provided.

Replaceable Scuff Pad: Option of either a ceramic or nylon toe scuff.

Air Vent System: Both the Vertigo Corsa and Vertigo employ an air ventilation system that can be opened or closed with a touch of a button depending upon a riders needs. This malleolus guard on the outer edge of each boot also protects the small and vulnerable foot bones.

Composite Inner Sole: The composite inner sole of Sidi boots resists side to side compression offering greater protection compared to the leather inner soles that our competitors use. The insole features a removable arch support and will never lose its dynamic characteristics, even after months of intense use; it is water resistant and is designed to withstand high footpeg pressures.

Replaceable Parts: Every bolt on component of each Vertigo boot is available separately. Riders can change the various components to replace items that have worn or have been damaged in a crash.

Lorica reg;: Boots outer is fully constructed with Lorica a composite micro fiber material created from strands less than one thousandth the thickness of silk. When injected with special resins, these fibers act like natural leather skin, but with the addition of better strength, softer texture, lighter weight and better moisture protection. Lorica is also highly resistant to abrasion – yet it still breathes – with more than three million pores per square centimeter. Easy to maintain, Lorica does not stain and can’t be scratched and offers, reduced weight, more flexibility and more feel than leather racing boots.

Note: The Vertigo boots no longer offer a replaceable shin plate.

Nice Boot These boots are great. Comfortable too. I have the lows and now these style. I love them both. Must have for those days of hard riding. Protection is everything June 17, 2015
Great boot First, I feel this boot runs a little on the larger size. Not a full size larger like some others (Stylmartin) but approximately a half size. I rode to and from work daily in this boot for nearly a year, in addition to evening and weekend rides. These things wore in beautifully, had good airflow, were confidence-inspiring when on the bike, we're okay to walk around in (but not excellent), and offered good rain protection for a boot not billed as a rain boot. As for the style, that's up to you. I thought the style was awesome but that was because I liked the aggressive motorcycle boot look when I chose to wear these. If yo're expecting them to blend away under a jean, they don't. That said, I often wore Icon reinforced jeans when riding and these did fit under the jeans despite pushing out a little near the top of the boot when walking. They do not fit under today's more slim cut jeans. Based on my experience, I will own another pair of SiDi riding boots. April 22, 2015
Great but mine squeak First, got mine within two days of my order. That was wholly unexpected but greatly appreciated. They are comfortable, easy to walk in, fit well and look great. The two side vents on the foot of the boot do not provide an enormous amount of airflow. My boots however squeak. As I walk there is the irritating "squeak squeak" that hopefully over time will dissipate. April 20, 2015
Nice The only issue I had was squeaking while walking so I applied chain lube onto the moving parts and they've been silent since. April 20, 2015
An amazing all around boot! As the headline says. "It's an amazing all around boot" this boot is great for those who are on the track as well as off the track, doing commuting and riding through the twisties. Upon receiving my Sidi Vertigo boots I was amazed at the boots stood out. The video and pictures just don't do it enough justice on how amazing these look. Upon trying them on I was able to easily slide my foot in and get the rear calf adjustment locked in nearly instantly. As I walked in them the feel felt really similar to those of my Ariat boots I have for general use around the yard. I could easily use them for walking in good amounts while still not having any pressure or loose areas around my foot. The boot are snug and I would easily recommend for those in the half sizes to move up a size higher for more breathable comfort. Great part about these boots is on easily able to slip my wranglers boot cut over them with little hassle. Truly a great boot to have for those casual rides where you want some protection but not overly espically on those hot days in traffic! While riding there is very minimal air flow through the side vents and is feelable. But overall everything a out this boot is amazing and I wouldn't look back to any other boot. Simply amazing! great fit for a wide foot I had bought a pair of icon overlord boots, but they were a little too tight for my comfort. these are a step up in price, but I'm very pleased I made the jump. my feed are a little wide. I'm 6'0 and wear a 12.5 boot. that's what I ordered and they fit better than I expected. I love the adjustable calf, makes it nice and easy to put on. March 2, 2015
Good adjustability Chose these over the cobras, the rear adjuster is a nice feature. Wear a 8/8.5 got the 8.5 stays on my foot fine. Will take awhile to get used to shifting w the boot but worth it just keep bending December 22, 2014
Great boots Revzilla delivered before the time estimated . Again this site delivers what they promised and great product . Boots fit well and has a tightening lever on back to make it fit snug. Thanks revzilla December 1, 2014

Richard M: I had a pair of these boots for 10 years. Wore them down to nothing. Best value out there! Jun 21, 2015
R O: Have heard very good reviews about these boots. May 27, 2015
Joe S: I now feel even more Super Human when riding after ordering these boots! Thanks SIDI and Revzilla! May 12, 2015
Chase D: middle of the road Sidi boot. Owned Sidis before, and know their fit. Apr 1, 2015
Andrew R: was intending to get a better boot for street riding than my street boots.... liked the Sidi shorter version of these... then decided.... they'd both be unconfortable walking... I may as well go full track capability Feb 23, 2015
M I: Sidi Rocks Feb 13, 2015
Beverly H: hubby asked for them! Dec 13, 2014
Jason D: This is my 2nd pair of Vertigo's, I have had my first pair for ten years and they have been awesome. Very comfortable, with all day riding and some decent amount of walking standing around. Especially with Sidi being 10% off right now makes this is a no brainer, Sidi is never on sale.

Even with no money off Sidi is the way to go, these boots just last and are comfortable and give great protection.

Ramandeep S: i can't wait to try these on. Sep 9, 2014
Seth D: I had an earlier version of this boot 9 years ago and it worked very worked well for me. This one has a couple extra features that make it quite a nice upgrade. Aug 7, 2014
Steve L: Watched a few of the on line reviews, went for added protection. ( even though I will not be doing track days).
Like the features and look of the boot. Have an old pair of sidi boots from aerostich that fit well.
A little worried about toe width, as mine are EE wide, but I went up from 44 to 45 and this usually does the trick. We'll see...

Charles M: All the reviews are very good on these and I need great boots to ride my fast bike for protection, comfort and a great look and feel. Jun 25, 2014
Rafael P: read good reviews for this item Jun 24, 2014
Nicholas S: My Icon Reign boots' zippers failed after less than a year of riding, and I needed footwear that could offer better protection for more spirited riding Jun 22, 2014
David R: To replace my old vertebrae's&w that are worn out. Will use on the street and between 3-6 track days this year. ST are a little too much for the street. There kind of wide. May 12, 2014
F S: I have some lower end Sidi Evo Tepor boots that have held up really well and I love, but needed some higher protection boots for my style of riding, and the fact that these boots have a vent but aren't perforated is the reason I chose them over the Sidi Cobra or Cobra Air. Apr 16, 2014
A S: Looks great! Apr 2, 2014

John G: I chose this item due to all the positive reviews Aug 15, 2013
A shopper asked: Question about sizing... I wear 10.5 in DCShoes, my foot is 10.5" long (almost 4" wide), I wear size 10's in most shoes except DC's, but I noticed that with the Euro sizing, there is no thing as a size 10.5, it's either 10 or 11. Which do you think is best to order? (I know the return policy is great, but somebody with 10.5 DC's might point me in the right direction!) Thanks! Feb 2, 2014

Brian F: I'm in about the same boat as you. I normally wear a size 11 DC Court Graffik but most other shoes / boots I'm a 10.5 or a 10. I ended up getting the size 10 boots and they fit great. A tiny bit tight on my left pinky toe (I guess that foot is wider haha) but I have adjusted quite easily and there isn't much give in these but I only feel that pressure when walking, but not while riding. tommy h: I was u I would probably go size 11-11.5 (46 euro) ...As I do have these in the 45 size . There are tighter then they look ..I can deal with wear them all day of riding but took a 3 or 4 times to break them in .. so go the size up to give urself some room in comfort and for thicker socks in the colder days... A shopper asked: i got some dainese leathers and my oxtar boots barely fit over leg armour-alpinestar?,dainese? or sidi? Apr 28, 2011
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Endoz: Alpinestars should fit, thats what i have and SIdi's were a struggle to get over the shin guard..had to ride the bottom of the leathers up a bit to fit and even then the zipper felt like it was going to go! May 6, 2011

Chris K: In my opinion, the Dainese Torque/TRQ lineup will have the most adjustability due to the velcro and rear-entry zippers. May 3, 2011

A shopper asked: what should I use to clean my boots? Oct 14, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Maria del R O: Hi. I got my boots dirty from mud and a little oil spilling from a leak on the motor. Use a nice fabrics shampoo on a damp cloth for an all around clean, then, use Orange Glo on the hard plastics with a toothbrush, clean it all with a damp cloth and let it dry. If you see some dull colors on the hard plastics, use a little bit of Armor All, avoiding the soles, of course. Been using my boots for more than a year and still they look awesome. Cheers. james N: You can use mild soap and water. If you really want them to look good after you clean them use an automotive "interior detail spray" just keep it off the soles as it can make them slippery. Oct 14, 2013

A shopper asked: how are these boots if you get caught in the rain? I ride in temps from 100 to 35 degrees and am debating between the Sidi Vertigo and the Sidi Vertigo Mega Rain boot. Any suggestions would be helpful. Apr 19, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Ken W: they are race boots made for extra protection in case of a fall. they are not waterproof. you will be fine if you get caught in the rain on occasion. it happens. can you wear them in the rain, yes. will they last very long, your mileage may vary. Apr 20, 2015
