SIDI Vertigo Boots Videos

The Vertigo was created after an arduous 2+ year development period with lofty goals in mind. The boot had to push the technology of the sport road boot segment to an even higher level than the legendary Vertebra series. They are designed to be the best, no matter the cost. The Vertigo series of boots has achieved all that and much more!

Shock Absorbing Heel Cup: Three stage, shock absorbing heel cup molded in three different densities of plastic is one element that sets the Vertigo series apart from all other sport boots. This system offers a built in shock absorbing range of 3mm. The heel cups internal area is also fully lined with impact resistant thousand-air cell memory foam for and extra level of comfort and protection.

Lining: Each Vertigo series boot is lined throughout with lightweight perforated Teflon treated fabric in order to allow moisture to “breath” out to the Lorica outer and dry quickly with no mold build up in the long term. Additionally the inner ankle area of all Vertigo series boots are flly lined with Sidi’s own formula of perforated closed thousand-air cell memory foam. A totally breathable lining system.

Tecno VR System: The Vertigo series of boots are the only race boots to offer a patented Tecno VR adjustable calf system designed to accommodate calves of virtually any size in a clean, supportive and protective design. With a simple adjustment of the Tecno knob the internal onofilament line will evenly close and wrap the boot around the riders calf in micro adjustments for a perfect fit. A maximum adjustment of 5cm is provided.

Replaceable Scuff Pad: Option of either a ceramic or nylon toe scuff.

Air Vent System: Both the Vertigo Corsa and Vertigo employ an air ventilation system that can be opened or closed with a touch of a button depending upon a riders needs. This Malleolus guard on the outer edge of each boot also protects the small and vulnerable foot bones.

Composite Inner Sole: The composite inner sole of Sidi boots resists side to side compression offering greater protection compared to the leather inner soles that our competitors use. The insole features a removable arch support and will never lose its dynamic characteristics, even after months of intense use; it is water resistant and is designed to withstand high footpeg pressures.

Replaceable Parts: Every bolt on component of each Vertigo boot is available separately. Riders can change the various components to replace items that have worn or have been damaged in a crash.

Lorica reg;: Boots outer is fully constructed with Lorica a composite micro fiber material created from strands less than one thousandth the thickness of silk. When injected with special resins, these fibers act like natural leather skin, but with the addition of better strength, softer texture, lighter weight and better moisture protection. Lorica is also highly resistant to abrasion – yet it still breathes – with more than three million pores per square centimeter. Easy to maintain, Lorica doesn’t stain and can’t be scratched and offers, reduced weight, more flexibility and more feel than leather racing boots.

Please Note: The Vertigo boots no longer offer a replaceable shin plate.

Great boot Great riding boot but that's what they're meant for riding. If you think you plan on doing any length of walking in these boots you'll be sadly mistaken. With that being said they still do fit well, a bit narrow in the foot bed but still comfortable. Be sure to wear proper riding socks with these boots because the top of the boot may rub against your shin or calf as you do walk. Overall I believe it's a great product and durable too. I recommend these for both types of riding I have both a cruiser and sport bike August 4, 2014
Great product so far. Revzilla and Sidi have a new lifetime customer. I had initially ordered the wrong size, the return process was simple and fast. I have no issues with the boots at all, they are really well made and comfortable. The pad on the toe for shifting is great May 12, 2014
Comfortable, stylish and protection to boot I bought these boots mainly for some track day riding but now I use them all the time because they seem comfortable and are easy to get on and off. There are small outer side vents that actually do allow some air to flow; not a lot, but better than nothing. Some people have pointed out that if you have narrow calves, you probably won't get the top of the boot as tight around your legs as you might like. I think that's accurate. For track days I put my leathers inside, so I appreciate the extra room. On the road I wear jeans over them and the fact that they're not snug against my calves doesn't bother me, but your mileage may vary. May 8, 2014
More versatile than I expected I currently own a pair of Sidi Apex boots which are basically a low-cut version of these, but as I was looking into signing up for track days I realized that they would not quite make the cut and I'd need a full-size boot so I ordered a pair of these. So of course I was not surprised by the quality and the way I feel like these boots would hold up well in a crash and do their job. What I was surprised by is just how comfortable these boots are. Though I've owned other full-sized Sidi boots in the past (Vertebra and B-2s) I still expected these boots to be stiff and somewhat less than comfortable. Naturally they are, of course, stiffer than a regular shoe or boot but they are just fine for walking around in - though I wouldn't want to run a marathon or do Christmas shopping wearing them. On the bike they are superb. They give a good feel for the controls and shifting is no problem. They bend naturally into a position that makes you almost forget they are on when in an aggressive riding position. As for features, the vents on the side seem to help some but in the recent 90+ heat here my feet have gotten a little on the warm side - nothing uncomfortable though. The boots are easy to get in and out of and the zip feels secure. The calf adjustment mechanism is great and helps to achieve an even better fitting, more secure feeling boot. Some reviews have mentioned they are too big but I've not had this problem. In fact when cinched up they fit under the leg of my jeans and look indistinguishable from my Apex when commuting. In fact they get the job done so well I'm thinking of putting the Apex up on eBay and making these my go-to boots. May 6, 2014
Great street and track day boot I purchased these boots to replace a pair of A stars SMX 5s that were a size 43. The A stars fit like a glove, but I'd get numb spots on the balls of my feet after a full day at the track. I jumped put to a size 44 in the Vertigo and they are comfortable, but the heel cup is a bit larger and doesn't fit my narrow heels quite as well. They are very comfortable for full days at the track as well as street rides. The feel on the controls is excellent as well. I would consider a boot with a bit more ankle protection for racing, but for the occasional track days they're great. April 22, 2014
Awesome Boots The main reason that I got these is that I have larger calfs and needed something adjustable. These fit the bill perfect. Obviously Sidi is a premier brand and their products are outstanding. These are slightly narrow but that isn't something I ever notice once on. I have worn these on multiple 10+ hour rides in all weather conditions and they perform flawless in each situation. Great to have options to accommodate my situation. January 28, 2014
Calf adjustment feature needs work The only real negative with this boot is the calf opening is excessively large. Even when fully adjusted there was way too much room for movement. Also I would have to wear calf length socks to keep my calves from rubbing on stitching. October 16, 2013
Crash Tested Low sided on the track at 80mph in a right hander, went off into a sand dune, flipped backwards, and my left arm/leg slammed into the ground. In relation to the boots I sustained a fractured fibula in my leg where the beefier top part of the boot is located. Odds are good it would have been broken with a lesser style boot. Not to say that similar style boots wouldn't have protected me the same but the right boot I slid on for the majority of the "trip" has no major issues other than being scraped up. My feet and ankles have no injuries on either leg just the left fibula ha. No parts need to be replaced on the boots they are good to go. I love the calf adjustments on the Vertigo and if the Vortice is considered the next level of boot then no thank you. Way to many adjustments and takes my buddy 10min to put the dang things on. RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Seth D: I had an earlier version of this boot 9 years ago and it worked very worked well for me. This one has a couple extra features that make it quite a nice upgrade. Aug 7, 2014
Steve L: Watched a few of the on line reviews, went for added protection. ( even though I will not be doing track days).
Like the features and look of the boot. Have an old pair of sidi boots from aerostich that fit well.
A little worried about toe width, as mine are EE wide, but I went up from 44 to 45 and this usually does the trick. We'll see...

Charles M: All the reviews are very good on these and I need great boots to ride my fast bike for protection, comfort and a great look and feel. Jun 25, 2014
Rafael P: read good reviews for this item Jun 24, 2014
Nicholas S: My Icon Reign boots' zippers failed after less than a year of riding, and I needed footwear that could offer better protection for more spirited riding Jun 22, 2014
David R: To replace my old vertebrae's&w that are worn out. Will use on the street and between 3-6 track days this year. ST are a little too much for the street. There kind of wide. May 12, 2014
F S: I have some lower end Sidi Evo Tepor boots that have held up really well and I love, but needed some higher protection boots for my style of riding, and the fact that these boots have a vent but aren't perforated is the reason I chose them over the Sidi Cobra or Cobra Air. Apr 16, 2014
A S: Looks great! Apr 2, 2014
MARIA S: Great reviews Dec 12, 2013
John G: I chose this item due to all the positive reviews Aug 15, 2013
A shopper asked: Question about sizing... I wear 10.5 in DCShoes, my foot is 10.5" long (almost 4" wide), I wear size 10's in most shoes except DC's, but I noticed that with the Euro sizing, there is no thing as a size 10.5, it's either 10 or 11. Which do you think is best to order? (I know the return policy is great, but somebody with 10.5 DC's might point me in the right direction!) Thanks! Feb 2, 2014

Brian F: I'm in about the same boat as you. I normally wear a size 11 DC Court Graffik but most other shoes / boots I'm a 10.5 or a 10. I ended up getting the size 10 boots and they fit great. A tiny bit tight on my left pinky toe (I guess that foot is wider haha) but I have adjusted quite easily and there isn't much give in these but I only feel that pressure when walking, but not while riding. tommy h: I was u I would probably go size 11-11.5 (46 euro) ...As I do have these in the 45 size . There are tighter then they look ..I can deal with wear them all day of riding but took a 3 or 4 times to break them in .. so go the size up to give urself some room in comfort and for thicker socks in the colder days... A shopper asked: i got some dainese leathers and my oxtar boots barely fit over leg armour-alpinestar?,dainese? or sidi? Apr 28, 2011

Endoz: Alpinestars should fit, thats what i have and SIdi's were a struggle to get over the shin guard..had to ride the bottom of the leathers up a bit to fit and even then the zipper felt like it was going to go! May 6, 2011

Chris K: In my opinion, the Dainese Torque/TRQ lineup will have the most adjustability due to the velcro and rear-entry zippers. May 3, 2011

A shopper asked: what should I use to clean my boots? Oct 14, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Maria del R O: Hi. I got my boots dirty from mud and a little oil spilling from a leak on the motor. Use a nice fabrics shampoo on a damp cloth for an all around clean, then, use Orange Glo on the hard plastics with a toothbrush, clean it all with a damp cloth and let it dry. If you see some dull colors on the hard plastics, use a little bit of Armor All, avoiding the soles, of course. Been using my boots for more than a year and still they look awesome. Cheers. james N: You can use mild soap and water. If you really want them to look good after you clean them use an automotive "interior detail spray" just keep it off the soles as it can make them slippery. Oct 14, 2013
