Absolutely the safest feeling mesh jacket I have ever worn. My husband also has the Turbine and it is the ONLY jacket he will wear. Both have been upgraded with the SaS-Tec back protector insert bought here at Revzilla too. The back pad that comes standard with jacket is useless and if you are wearing a jacket because you are concerned about safety - the main point of investing such a jacket, spend the money to upgrade to the SaS or a standalone CE2 back protector. The Rev"It Turbine is very comfortable - the shoulder and elbow armor are very pliable and do not restrict movement. THe Sas-Tec is so malleable in warm weather that you really don't even know it is there - it just curves around your back and moves / molds according to your movements. The Turbine flows a lot of air as soon as you start moving and surprisingly is not uncomfortable sitting in traffic. We have the light silver colors - black does not appeal to me in a summer jacket (or pants - are you listening Rev"iT?) it just plain looks hot and uncomfortable. The Turbine is very solidly made - no loose threads etc.. The collar is super nice - soft and very low profile for summer it doesn't interfere with helmet buckling, head movement, or make you feel like you are all bundled up. I really think the jacket should come with a zip out waterproof liner like the Turbine pants do and an extra nice addition would be a lightly insulated zip-in vest or something, since this jacket can get downright cold after dark it flows air so well. (Once again, are you listening Rev"it?). I really like my Turbine - I also have a Rev"it Siren (Dragon for mens version) for non summer riding and I really like that as well - but the softness and comfort and low collar of the Turbine makes it my favorite. All padding and fabric reinforced areas are perfectly placed. For me, I a have the women's size 44 and am 5'10, 150 lb.. and usually wear a street clothes size 12 but usually get a size 14 or L in jackets and shirts because they always pull uncomfortable across my shoulders and I hate restrictive feeling clothing. (The Siren I got in size 46 because I wear it in the winter and 44 didn't allow me to wear a sweater or any extra layers comfortably once I had all the Rev"it liners zipped in). In the Turbine pants, I bought the 44 and they are really too large, I kept them because I wear them over my jeans (sure do wish they had full length leg zipper.. Rev'It?), but I am considering a pair of 42 because in the summer I usually leave the liner out and just wear over shorts and the 44 are really too big for that. I think in the event of a crash, short of leathers, the Rev'It textile line is probably my best chance for skin survival. My only real complaint for the women's line is that the colors / blocking / striping etc. is a little too masculine looking. The positive though is the women's specific line is definitely cut more to the women's shape - making notable adjustments to the shoulders and hips. Yes, there is room for improvement but I am finding the Rev'It brand to be far superior than the competitors in fabric quality and workmanship but once you get over the "Sticker Shock" of the Turbine you will be very happy with the jacket.

My wife and I both purchased the Turbine jacket. As a new rider, she was keenly focused on protection along with comfort and this jacket delivers on both. Listen, my wife is happy...I'm happy. And it was a boat load more affordable than anything comparable in BMW's line...bonus!

The jacket is gorgeous, very breathable, and has pockets that are well sized/placed. The reflective patches work well and have good placement. The only problems with the jacket are: the collar (at it's widest setting) is a bit tight, and unlike the matching pants, no waterproof lining comes with the jacket. Overall, I'm happy but will be waiting for the liner come fall.

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements. REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.
Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button)
Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
