Awesome Summer Pants These are great, high-tech summer pants. Although the mesh doesn't flow as much air some as some competing, more open designs, it's 90% as good as the best I've used. In exchange, the material is very flexible and comfortable on and off the bike, and they feel light and comfortable. Expensive, but well worth it. March 26, 2012
Crash Tested-They WORK I was taken out by a left turning car this summer. NO road rash! (on me) I bought this pair as the replacement for the pair the EMT cut off of me at the scene. Oh, they work great as riding gear too. October 24, 2011
Update to Previous Comments An addition to my previous comments I used these from May to October here in NC and for rally runs all summer in temps up to a humid 104. Nothing is going to be ideal in 104 humid weather but these are pretty good. They vent enough not to be excessively sweaty. Settled on an Aerostich money belt as a replacement for the stock one that has a flimsy buckle but highly recommend suspenders for real comfort. Bike pants are heavy enough that a belt doesn't work well and is not needed with suspenders anyway. Did not carry and do not use the rain liner. I prefer external GoreTex rain gear to liners and use Cabela's GoreTex rain paints over these when necessary. I rode in a enough frog chokers this summer to drown out the fuel pump controller on my RT and don't want heavy wet pants after a downpour. Lower leg liners on these need to be replaced with a friction free material at next re-design. Rubberized stuff snags everything going through it and is just a fuzzy-headed and annoying design choice. Knee protection has a lightly abrasive material intended to improve abrasion resistance but paint around the knee areas on my RT is beginning to wear off from it. Good repaints are cheap where I live so this is no huge deal to me but may be to others where painting is pricey OK for hot nasty weather- would buy them again but would fix the design issues if I was the maker. Have not ben crash tested by me so no comments on that. December 8, 2010

Great for Summer Riding Does a good job keeping air flowing to your legs without feeling sticky, even in mid-to-high 80s weather. Wish they came with a slightly smaller inseam, but the kneepads cover my knees while in tucked position and the bottom part tucks into my boots. Knee armor feels very secure and the the workmanship and quality of the pants is readily apparent when you try them on. June 28, 2010
Fairing scratchers I was excited about getting these pants. They were my first pair of motorcycle pants and I paid a bundle for them. However, they are a disaster on fairings. I ride a sport-touring bike and now have to spend hundreds of dollars replacing fairings, because the material that covers the knee armor is like sand-paper to plastic fairings. At first, I thought it must be something wrong with my bike, because I couldn't imagine that supposedly high-end specialty motorcycle pants would damage a motorcycle. So I went to two dealers - who both told me they had never seen that happen before. I have been thinking of upgrading my bike and so I went to the Honda dealer to see if it was a positioning issue with my bike (Kawi Ninja 650R). I explained what had happened with my fairings and showed the dealership's owner my bike. He was quite surprised. I put the pants on and sat on a showroom CBR 600 to see if the body position or fairing layout differences would matter. When I got up we realized that the pants had already scratched both the fairings on the new CBR! He was furious! It took him a few minutes to settle down and I thought he was going to kick me out the store! He said burn those pants on don't sit on anymore bikes! He said that they are a disaster, because he saw for himself that all I did was sit on the bike and the damage occurred. So these pants cost him $150 x 2 fairings, and me $322 x 2 fairings (I'll discount one, becuase it has previous damage) - not to mention the cost of buying them in the first place and now shipping them back. What a disaster! On top of that, I bought the Sirocco jacket and now have no pants. The irony is that what I really needed and still need are riding pants! I ended up buying the jacket and boots to go with or accommodate these pants. I'm very disappointed. June 20, 2010
Turbine Pants Make sure to know your size. After measuring myself I was in between a 50 and 52. I went with 52. I am 6 foot even and weight 185-190 lbs. Somewhat athletic build. These pants cost an arm and a leg, but they are worth every penny. The fit is spot on. Not too tight, not too loose. The knee pads line up perfectly with no adjusting. You can feel the quality as soon as you touch them. They'll definitely hold up in a accident at highway speeds. I rode with them in temperatures up to 90F. No motorcycle pants will be as cool as jeans but these are damn close. The air flow is wonderful. I was stunned the first time I rode in them. These are for hot weather only. I avoid the rain so I can't speak of the waterproof liner. Overall I'm very happy and highly recommend them. Revzilla also has great customer service, and had them shipped to my NYC address in 1 day. Ordered them on Thursday, arrived on Friday, for free. You can't beat these pants for the heat, and Revzilla you can't beat for the service. June 1, 2010
