These pants were purchased for my wife and have a nice looking and more slender fit than many of the "women's" pants that have enormous hips, she thinks the materials are robust yet comfortable (even without a base layer), She's 32 x 34 and the XL Long was the perfect fit so they do tend to run a bit snug. She can't find anything about the pants to gripe about they are a great value and I am happy with my purchase.

Excellent quality and perfect fit using Revzilla chart. I'm 34/30 and ordered XL short.
I ride in UAE at temperatures ranging from 86 F to 115 F and this pants offer good ventilation for the actual heat.
I wish a clearer color was an option for real hot areas, black hide dirt but capture heat. Also while riding in heavy traffic a brighter color helps.
Highly recommend.

Size chart does not match well with typical US sizing charts. The pants were smaller than my expectation (No, I have not gained weight). The product would be better if there was better/more armor in the hips and tail bone area. I thought air flow would be better, but I must admit these are the only mesh pants I've ever owned (I don't know if other pants are any better). Construction is very good and I expect the pants will last a long time. They match well with the Rev'It Air Jacket (A very nice look).

Rev'it makes a quality product. I have happily worn Factor pants for three years in temps between 80-40F. Rotor pants are the perfect hot weather alternative. Fit, design and materials are outstanding. Most importantly, they ventilate well. I rode in 90 F temps yesterday and was comfortable.

The fit runs very small according to the size chart.
I normally wear a 36 jean but decided to order the XL (38-41) based on reviews. I had to loosen the adjustable waist fully to fit.
Otherwise a very good product. Air flow is good and protection seems like it should really help. The mesh part of the pant does not look like mesh but provides good ventilation.
Overall a really good summer pant. Just make sure you order a size large.

These pants are great! I do find I have to spread my legs to get all the airflow, it is probably due to the type of bike I ride (Vstrom). Of couse one can always stand on the pegs too for more airflow. These pants should be great for at least 3 seasons, I ride in the 95 and above south so there is not much that can keep you cool. With a liner I would say they would be good for all except the coldest days. These are the best pants I've purchased so far, I wear them more than anything else. They fit perfect (bought the large size) as I wear a 33/32 jean, around 178 lbs. I also like the Velcro at the bottom for perfect adjustments.

I'm 5'11" tall, 170-lbs, wear 34x34 jeans and have a 40" gut. I ordered these in XXL as recommended to accommodate my waistline, but really think I could have gotten away with an XL as I have to really draw up the side straps to get a good fit around the waist. The pants flow a huge amount of air and should do well at keeping me cool in the heat of summer, but I've only been able to test them at 80-degrees thus far.
The one and only complain I have is why the mesh gutter in the fly? It's mesh so it's not going to keep your bits warm and dry if you get caught in the rain, and there's no liners to protect either. In short, it just makes it a pain to use the restroom and is totally unnecessary.

My wife and I both ordered a pair of these pants. Using the provided sizing chart the pants fit perfectly. You can feel the protection in the pants and there is plenty of air flow.
The only negative is that my wife's pants have begun to seperate at the zipper seam on one of the pant legs. I think it was just a one-time flaw.
We'd buy them again!!

I am shopping for a summer protective pant that breathes and is weatherproof. Are these all around pants? I'm leaving for Alaska to spend 5 weeks touring. I am looking for a pant that I can wear over my underwear....:)

No these pants are not waterproof. You would need a rain pant if you plan to ride with these in wet or cold conditions.

If you are looking for a mesh pant with waterproof protection, try the REV'IT! Mistral, or REV'IT! Tornado instead. These pants have no waterproof layer.

REV'IT! Jackets are European (slim) cut and generally more narrow in the shoulders than other brands. Please take this into account when choosing the appropriate size. Most riders with any body type other than "slim" would need to order one size larger than they typically might wear in other brands, if you are in between sizes, we recommend erring on the larger side. SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
