Really true size. The glove feels rigid, which help to drive, but the interior ir very ver comfortable and very well ventilated. No so short to extend wrist protection!

I purchased these at the Revzilla storefront in Philadelphia just before summer and wore them right out of the store. I have roughly a size 9 hand size and purchased the large. My fingers are on the fat side and were completely numb after a 35 minute ride; the fingers were too snug at first. After a few more rides they stretched nicely and now are by far my favorite gloves. My hands never get too sweaty even in the hottest weather and I feel confident about my grip on the bars. I’ve worn them all though the summer and now into early fall, I really like the airflow, vibration dampening, grip and dexterity these gloves offer. They are excellent quality, used regularlly all summer and they still look great, I assume they will last for several years. Thanks for the recomendation while visiting the shop.

I purchased these as commuter gloves. I was looking for something that would provide good protection if I crashed, but I didn't want something too flashy. These are right on the money. The airflow is not massive, but You can simply spread your fingers apart and get a much-needed blast of air in the glove while riding. It took about a week for mine to break in fully. These gloves are made in China for those out there that look at these types of things. If you're looking for an everyday glove, look no further.

The REV'IT Monster gloves are a great warm weather glove. They flow a ton of air and are fairly tight, so I don't think you could get an underglove on for cold weather riding without going a size up. They have been comfortable in temperatures in the 70s-90s.
They are very comfortable and break in quickly. They are definitely snug, but, after wearing them for a day or two, they slip on and off easily. Sizing: I have an 11" hand measurement and the 2XL gloves are just right. I don't have particularly long fingers, but my fingers do touch the fingertip seams. Speaking of the seams, although there are internal seams, they are fairly clean, and haven't been irritating.
The palm padding works well, but I'm not convinced the finger padding is effective. The knuckle plate is internally lined and you don't notice the hard plate while wearing them.
Overall: A good glove. I think they may be a bit pricey, but I like them.

These gloves are very well constructed. They flow a fair amount of air, so they are good for summer, not sure how they will be during colder weather rides. I got a large and they fit very well but the pinky finger is just a bit long. Other than that, they are great

Needed something for warmer weather an decided upon this pair. Thicker leather in the palms as described for when you fall, and the knuckles have additional protection - though I will not that it will still hurt; rapping my knuckles against a wall fairly hard still made me wince a bit.
Not meant for any type of rain as your hands will get soaked very quickly.
I'd recommend these to anyone who is looking for a nice pair of summer gloves.

I've tried quite a few gloves before finding a pair that I like, and this is them! They're easily the most comfortable gloves of any type that I've ever worn. They fit pretty true to size for my hands (I'm an XL in just about all gloves, and an XL Monster is perfect for me), and as mentioned by others they break in quickly and stretch to the shape of your hand in no time. They are easy to get on and off, and the protection looks great (for a short-cuff glove: while I wear these on pleasure rides, I would not count on these for track days or spirited riding.) They also allow for a surprising amount of movement and feel given the protection value: it's not like having naked hands, but I can manipulate things a lot more easily than I can in my Tarmac gloves.
The other day I was caught in a thunderstorm with them and got drenched. Aside from the dye running onto my hands, the gloves are fine: in fact, if anything they see, to fit me better after the rain! I'll probably try to condition them just in case they start to dry out, though. The rain storm was at the end of a three-day road trip during which I wore them for about 12 hours a day on average, through some pretty warm and humid NE weather: they kept me cool, did not cause the dreaded hand sweats, and were a pleasure to wear the whole time.
The only negative I can think of is that the grippy Rev'it logos on the index and forefinger don't last very long. They could have done a much better job of applying grippy silicon bits.

I used to have a pair of Tourmaster Air Intake gloves (sized Medium) and really liked them. I was always a bit paranoid that if I got into a crash, they'd slide right off my hands. I wanted to get some new gloves for protection. A buddy of mine swears by Revit, so I started looking at the gloves and found the Monster gloves. I ride a cruiser so I wanted to get something black without looking all tacky and the leather was just what I wanted for protection. Out of the box, they were very tight and uncomfortable. I ordered the Medium as per the sizing chart. I was thinking that I should have bought the next size up, but, I figured I'd wear them and see how it went. They broke in pretty nice within a week and now they fit pretty decently. No worries about them flying off in a spill. Only complaint is that they're not as stretchy as my old gloves - but then again, these are leather so that's what is expected. As I mentioned, the main reason for buying these were the protection.

SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
