Great Feeling Hot Weather Leather
There aren't a whole lot of leather pants out there for those of us with a 32" waist that aren't also designed assuming you're 5'3". I got the 50 Long size and they fit great with my 34" inseam.
They get chilly below 60°F, but keep things comfortable when it gets closer to triple digits.

Love them
I am 6'1" 150 lbs. and 50 Tall fit perfect. I'm a hard size to find. Love the pants. Substantial protection and they vent better than my mistrals.

comfortable and good price
Hey guys, for the last 17 years I've been riding in Levis, always a leather jacket, helmet and gloves. Previous to these revit pants I wore Shift Havoc pants which I liked but didn't fit right. Picked up these gear pants and they are more comfortable than jeans when riding. I've worn these all day in 90 degree weather no problem, just keep moving. The air flow isnt great but the protection is a lot better than mesh pants. They zip up to the Tarmac jacket nicely. The hip pads are useless, I'm looking for an upgrade. I wear 36 30 Levis, purchased 54 short gear pants. I will order th regular length next time , the short is a little too short sitting on the bike .

Great product. Fits slim!
I was looking for a stylish pant with significant protection yet cool in the summer. The pants met these criteria. They are somewhat bulkier than I expected but they feel comfortable on the bike. They are of excellent quality. I'm very picky but was not disappointed. I'm 6 foot 2 and weigh 172 pounds and have a marathon runner physique.I ordered a 52 tall. They fit perfectly but are by design quite tight. I can't imagine anyone not skiny fitting into these pants. Negatives: slippery leather component over the seat; fabric irritates knees; waist snap an after thought (pant mostly secured by Velcro strap).

best riding pants!!
For reference, I'm 6''1' Inseam 34 waist 34.
I bought size 52 tall and the fit is perfect. I don't think they are made to be overpant but can be use as it if you don't matter being a bit thight. The pants are very well made and seems really durable. The airflow is perfect for hot summer days without the liner. The pants are not baggy at all and the look is really great.
If you want good pants with good protection for summer but don't want full leather pants, these are the way to go for sure!
They are awesome in every angles.

REV'IT! Gear Pants are the way to go.
On airflow, the liner helps cut back on air on those cold mornings (a nice feature).
I measure up at 29" inseam and about a 38" waist around the middle. I used the sizing chart and ordered a 54 Short. Upon trying on 52 regular length pants and hearing other reviews, I was initially concerned that these pants were going to be too small - so I went up a size. Now that I've worn them and broken them in, I am finding that the Short sizes run a little more true to fit for me. In the future I will have to get a 52 Short.
With respect to comfort and features, now that the pants have broken in and are fitting slightly larger than new, I find that having dual velcro on the pant waistband (like the Gear 2 pants) would probably be helpful. Additionally, a place to connect suspenders to keep the pants from moving or drooping when walking around off the bike would also be a decent additional feature.
All in all these pants are great! I would highly recommend the REV'IT! Gear pants to anyone.

Good, but not excellent
This was not my first choice of pant; I tried locating the Rev'It Turbine pant to match my Turbine jacket ---- no luck as they are discontinued. So, the staff recommended this pant (also a discontinued) as an alternative. I like the combo of leather and mesh. And, because the Rev'It Gear pant uses the same type of mesh as the Rev'It Turbine jacket, they match well. I also like the long waste-to-jacket zipper. What I don't care for is the rather poor quality hip protectors. I replacing them with ForceField, which may (?) require a bit of trimming.
