Decent pants

Pants worked very well. I have concerns how long the top snap will last. Seemed to pop open a time or two. More velcro or another method to draw the pant cuff tighter around the boot would make them more comfortable in cooler winds.

Cayenne Pro Pants

Know your size. These pants have European sizing so check the chart. I also own the Rev'it Gear Pants, amd the Rev'it Turbine Pants. I wear size 52 in the Gear and Turbine, and size XL in the Cayenne Pro. They fit great. Not too loose, not too tight. I am 6 foot even, 185-190 lbs. Somewhat athletic build. First the negative. The kneepads have to be slightly shifted inward to cover you properly. My other 2 Rev'it pants aren't like this. Not a deal breaker, but slightly annoying. Also, at $399, these pants are expensive. Now for the positive aspects. These pants scream quality as soon as you touch them. Very nice materials, and stitching. Will hold up if crashed at highway speeds. When worn with the liner they kept my legs warm in the low 40's. With the liner out they are comfortable up to the low 80's when you open the waterproof zippers on the side of the thigh. Any temperature higher than the low 80's and they are too hot for my liking, but as long as you keep moving they are acceptable. If you can only afford one pair of pants, these are the ones you want. If you have a couple of extra bucks, go for the Turbine or Gear Rev'it pants for the heat. As with all Rev'it products the styling is wonderful. I don't feel like a nerd while staying safe with protective pants. They look very cool, but not over the top like track pants. Like my other 2 Rev'it pants they fit over my Alpinestar full length boots due to the zippered, adjustable, wide bottom cuffs. Overall I think these pants are great and worth the money. I highly recommend them. I also have a pair of Fieldsheer pants, Alpinestar pants, and Shift Havoc pants. But believe me, Rev'it makes the best non-track riding pants at any price. I ordered them on a Tuesday, they were delivered to my NYC address the next day for free. Customer service at Revzilla is top notch also. So if you can afford them, don't hesitate to buy them. These pants are golden.

Great for the Pacific Northwest

Fits pretty true to size, but on the snug side...which is what I prefer.
Great flexibility with the 2 liners for all seasons and weather out here in the Seattle area.

Warmer than expected

Just rode from Phoenix to calgary - was 90C in phoenix and with t shirt and shorts and vents open was comfortable - would have cooked in joe rocket. IN Montana and Alberta wore long underwear and a very light sweater and both rain and thermal liners in jacket but no liners in pants and comfortable enough i didn't' stop and put on my heated vest. Fits well, looks good and works well - though no crash so no ultimate test
Sizing - i tried on at a store B4 ordering and good thing. All my Joe rocket stuff was large - which is the same as most everything else i get - large Revit too small but XL is just right

So far - so good

2 good 'adventure' rides so far. Stayed warm at 5C without long underware. No issues getting wet through creek crossings. I was able to get size 'short' on the inseam (30"), so hopefully the bottom cuff of the pants will not get shredded or in the way. Bought together with the Cayenne Pro Jacket.

Fancy Pants!

The pants fit like tuxedo pants, they don't sit on your hips but more closer to your belly button. They fit true to size, and are a little snug with the liners in. Not totally bad because it keeps nice and toasty! The only reason I marked cramped on the cons is because with all the liners in, riding for a while tends to be a ball crushing affair. With the liner out, I can wear them over jeans when needed, or just by itself, as all the liners are comfortable against your skin. The water proof liner is excellent. I took it out one stormy day. After about 100 miles in the rain, my legs where dry and my 'waterproof' jacket was soaking through in some places. My waterproof gloves were as waterproof as a bath towel.

Overall love the pants, and seem to get better every time I put them on.

Excellent Pants

Weather finally turned to get out despite still being in the upper 30's. The pants with the thermal liner were very comfortable and warm. I have a Rev'IT jacket and gloves as well and am very impressed with their quality. Very satisfied!

Love these pants!

Love these pants so much I bought two pairs -- green and black. Had a slight seam problem with the green and Rev'It replaced the pants with a new pair. Wowza.

Very Impressed so far

Just ordered these last work, so not a long term eval, but my thoughts so far:

- Great fit and finish. Looks like these will defintely go the distance, both in terms of craftsmanship and materials.

- I am about 5'11" and 175lbs and bought the L Reg and the fit great. While on the bike they ride up about an inch or so, but that is normal for me. I feel like the additional 3" that the long offers would be way too long while off the bike.

- Defintiely a snug (though not uncomfortable) fit with all of the liners in place. It's actually just how I would want my cold weather gear to fit. Not tight, but not loose.

- As far as the liners go, and I know this is highly subjective, so just my .02, but I have been riding in about 40-45 deg weather this week and have been comfortable with both liners in.

- As for 4 seasons, for me I think they may be a bit warm in the summer here in VA, but I will follow up when summer comes back around. For the price, I will probably sweat it out...

Bottom line, is so far I am very happy with these, though not cheap, I don't expect I will need another pair of adv riding pants for a long time. Top quality product with a great fit.

Slick duds

These pants have a high level of fit and finish. Personally, have yet to test their water impermeability, so I cannot comment on that aspect. But I've had the matching jacket, and it uses the same construction, so I'm not too concerned with how it will hold up.
