When REV'IT introduced the new Cayenne Pro Jacket, they were tasked with developing an equally strong pair of pants: the CAYENNE PRO pants.

All of the  product improvements incorporated in the jacket, such as weight reduction, improved insulation properties and stitch reducing laminated reflection and Super fabric panels have also been incorporated in the new CAYENNE PRO textile pants.

These pants can be zipped to the jacket by a short or an all around 360 degree connection zipper. For the serious commuter or adventure / touring rider, this is the pair of pants that will fulfill your needs.

Available in standard, long and short leg lengths, the Cayenne Pro Pants will zip with any current model men's REV'IT Jacket. While made to work specifically with the Cayenne Pro Jacket, the Cayenne Pro Pants also function very well when paired with the REV'IT Sand Jacket or  REV'IT Dragon Jacket.

A commonly asked question we get is what is the difference between the Cayenne Pro Pants and the Sand Pants?

Both are high-end 4-season pants, but the difference is in the materials used. The Cayenne Pro's use an Exkin thermal liner, shown to have half the weight / thickness of the Dupont liner in the Sand Pants.  The Cayenne Pro's use SAS-TEC armor, and the Sand uses Pro-Life; and while both are CE level 2, the SAS-TEC armor is softer (only turning hard on impact) and more comfortable.  The last major difference is the use of SuperFabric on the impact areas in the Cayenne Pro.

The sizing given for correct length is wrong: according to the chart, I needed a short, but they're way too short when I'm actually on the bike (which makes them not very waterproof and totally useless in the winter). Didn't realize it until I'd already coated them in bugs or I would've sent them back.
Otherwise they're pretty decent. The ventilation isn't amazing, but I think it's as good as you're going to get in pants that aren't mesh. The armor could be a little more extensive (the knee pads don't inspire much confidence), but I think it's as good as most of the gear out there. I liked them enough that I'll probably buy another pair in a longer size.

I needed a street pant replacement for my BMW City pants. I wanted high end protection but at the same time something that could be worn in the mall or getting a cup of coffee without looking like you were doing the Paris-Dakar rally. These fit the bill nicely. I got black in XL regular leg - after having tried XL short and large regular from the sizing chart I ended up with my standard XL!!!! I'm 6'1" and wear 36" pants at 200lbs. Sizing is a little akward due to the fact you have three pants in one and will probably need to figure out what you need them for. I've taken the rain pant (very thin) out as I dont do that much deliberate riding in the rain. I've tried with thermal lining in and very warm at temps hovering around the 30-32F mark so no problem with warmth. However, with thermal lining in pants are snug (maybe thats tight but with out being uncomfortable?) but that is the cut of these pants. Certainly ok to ride distance in. They fit best for me - mainly around the thighs - with just the outside lining. Rode around this w/e with temps in low 60's and no issues. Construction is high end. I like these pants and I'm sure I'll have them a few years. My two gripes are that they dont have a fly - well they do but then theres a big flap to eliminate water ingree I guess and I'd like a bigger piece of velcro at the bottow of the legs to wrap them around the boot more. I dont think they are as street as I really wanted but colour, cut and function (safety) make up for that. Havent tried the leg air flow zip yet due to the temps!!

I live in Spokane, WA. Thus buying on-line is difficult at times. I spoke with Revzilla and gave them my sizes. I'm 6'1''+, with 33 inseam and 36 waist, and 220lbs. The first XL was too tight. Did it make my butt look big? Yes. I spoke with Steve who is about the same size but not as handsome. He tried on a few pairs and came up with 2XL long. They were ordered that day. It took about a week to arrive with UPS. When standing the legs are too long. Once on the bike the length is perfect. The waist is without belt loops, but there is a Velcro adjustable waist. I am narrow enough that the velcro is pulled forward to terminal travel. Thus the waist is too big. Either additional velcro is needed on the strap, or belt loops need to be added. Last option are suspenders, which is not a personal favorite. The pants are warm!!! The highs are in the 40's and lows in the 20's right now. My legs are warm. I rode to Redding, CA this past week for Russell All-Day-Long seats (great seats). The bottom temp was 22f Wednesday evening. I had Gerbing gear underneath and was toasty warm. The bad and good news? My wife and I took a spill in Lakeview, OR on snow and ice. We slid for 150' and came to a stop on the ice. No damage to the Rev'it Cayanne jacket or pants. The ceramic welded elbow pads were great! The BMW GSA? Small damage to the handlebar end bolt, engine guard, and plastic BMW pannier left side front corner. Bottom line, we highly recommend the Rev'it Cayanne gear. Great buy for outstanding protection and durability! Thanks Revzilla team members!

Now that the Cayenne has been replaced by the Defender, you can get this kit at great pricing, and it's still an incredible piece of gear. I've had the jacket for years, and it's great to finally get the matching pants. Rev'it! makes great quality gear at excellent prices.

After having purchased several pairs of textile riding pants I was ready for a premium pair (I also purchased the Cayenne Pro Jacket too). I looked at BMW products and Held products, both very high quality and very expensive. I was unable to see any REV'IT products locally since no stores carry the line so I had to rely on the information gleaned on the web. Once it arrived I was very impressed with the quality of the product and the fit. I have not had the opportunity to test it in the rain or cold and have not been able to test the air flow yet hence the medium score. Based on how the Jacket works I would expect nothing less from the pants.

I purchased these pants a while back, but waited till I could fully test the weather-ability before providing a review.
First the fit......I wear a 33x34 jean cut so first ordered a large/long. Ended up with a medium/long instead to get enough adjustment in the waist to utilize the velcro adjusters. The medium fits great in the waist; with a very snug fit through the hips and the thighs. All the armour is were it's supposed to be when mounted on the bike. Very comfortable and secure both seated and standing on the pegs.
I've worn these pants several times on rides at highway speed in +/-32 degree weather, and in the rain. With all liners zipped in the pants are more than adequate for the cooler temps up to about 60 degrees. I've had no problems staying dry through a day of riding in the wet. The liner and outer shell air dry out easily over night.
Can't attest to the protection aspects of the armour or material other than the quality and location provides a sense of security. The stitching and quality of materials appears to be very durable.
Design wise the air flow is adequate up to 82 degrees (warmest day around here so far) with the liners removed. The cut is snug even with the liners removed, but I like that aspect. I agree with others that a more secure closure at the waist and cuffs would be nice addition. The two zip slash pockets are good for storing small items or cramming your glove free hands into when standing around in the cold, but not much else. A cargo pocket or two would be a good addition.
I was hesitant at first to spend a good chunk of change on these pants. Glad I did.

I Just purchased the Jacket/ Pant set 2 weeks ago and had my friend send them to me in Korea. I can only speak about the warmth and comfort of this product thus far because it is winter in Korea. I rode about 600 miles in temps. from freezing through + 5 degrees from freezing. This set worked perfectly! The only things that were getting cold were my hands and feet. It was unbelievable riding in the snow and being very comfortable while being able to move freely off the bike and not feeling big and puffy. Everything seems to be made and put together very well. I'm very happy with this product thus far and expect this to perform great in every season. I sent an email to Revzilla and they very helpful and very understanding with my situation here in Korea. This is how a company should be run! Top quality products with an excellent staff. Don't wait, buy it!

Unfortunately, no. REV'IT! and Dainese use very different connection zippers. You would likely have to take the garments to a tailor who can alter the zippers.

The REV'IT! Cayenne Pro pants do not have adjustable knee armor, but they are offered in 3 different inseam lengths: Standard, Short, and Long. If you are looking for a REV'IT! pant with adjustable knee armor, you might look at the Axis, Tornado and all of the Gore-Tex pants for this feature.

The Cayenne Pants in Black are all Black with no white panels. The image with the lighter panel is a close up of the Dark Green Color and it is much closer to an Olive Green than Grey.

REV'IT! Jackets are European (slim) cut and generally more narrow in the shoulders than other brands. Please take this into account when choosing the appropriate size. Most riders with any body type other than "slim" would need to order one size larger than they typically might wear in other brands, if you are in between sizes, we recommend erring on the larger side. SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
