Fancy Pants!

The pants fit like tuxedo pants, they don't sit on your hips but more closer to your belly button. They fit true to size, and are a little snug with the liners in. Not totally bad because it keeps nice and toasty! The only reason I marked cramped on the cons is because with all the liners in, riding for a while tends to be a ball crushing affair. With the liner out, I can wear them over jeans when needed, or just by itself, as all the liners are comfortable against your skin. The water proof liner is excellent. I took it out one stormy day. After about 100 miles in the rain, my legs where dry and my 'waterproof' jacket was soaking through in some places. My waterproof gloves were as waterproof as a bath towel.

Overall love the pants, and seem to get better every time I put them on.

Excellent Pants

Weather finally turned to get out despite still being in the upper 30's. The pants with the thermal liner were very comfortable and warm. I have a Rev'IT jacket and gloves as well and am very impressed with their quality. Very satisfied!

Love these pants!

Love these pants so much I bought two pairs -- green and black. Had a slight seam problem with the green and Rev'It replaced the pants with a new pair. Wowza.

Very Impressed so far

Just ordered these last work, so not a long term eval, but my thoughts so far:

- Great fit and finish. Looks like these will defintely go the distance, both in terms of craftsmanship and materials.

- I am about 5'11" and 175lbs and bought the L Reg and the fit great. While on the bike they ride up about an inch or so, but that is normal for me. I feel like the additional 3" that the long offers would be way too long while off the bike.

- Defintiely a snug (though not uncomfortable) fit with all of the liners in place. It's actually just how I would want my cold weather gear to fit. Not tight, but not loose.

- As far as the liners go, and I know this is highly subjective, so just my .02, but I have been riding in about 40-45 deg weather this week and have been comfortable with both liners in.

- As for 4 seasons, for me I think they may be a bit warm in the summer here in VA, but I will follow up when summer comes back around. For the price, I will probably sweat it out...

Bottom line, is so far I am very happy with these, though not cheap, I don't expect I will need another pair of adv riding pants for a long time. Top quality product with a great fit.

Slick duds

These pants have a high level of fit and finish. Personally, have yet to test their water impermeability, so I cannot comment on that aspect. But I've had the matching jacket, and it uses the same construction, so I'm not too concerned with how it will hold up.

Very nice pants, worth the INVESTMENT

For sizing, I am 5'11" and weigh 175lbs. The large long fit me. However, they are tight and slightly binding with all the layers in when on the bike. But not unbearable and I think that going to an XL would have been too big.

I would not bother to pay for expidited shipping. What's the point of paying for 2 day shipping, when they don't ship for 2 days anyway? I ordered boots from Aerostich the same day, within 10 minutes of ordering from revzilla, and did not pay for faster shipping and the Aerostich boots arrived 2 days sooner anyway.

The only concern I have as of yet is that there are patches of tougher fabric over the knees and other friction points that seem glued on, and I predict them coming off around the edges over time.

I rode three days straight in these in on and off steady rain, and water did not penetrate through to my base layer, which was my hope for these pants.

The knee pads seem to migrate to the inside of the knees, which is annoying.

I call these pants an "investment" because though they seem to do what they claim, they are horribly expensive, especially for something made in China. The quality does seem good though, at least after 1 month and 1,000 miles I have no issues and the pants seem to keep me warm so far down to 60 and waterproof in moderate sustained rain over the course of several hours. And I guess that's the point, right?

Those pants rock - and so does REVZILLA!!!

I bought those pants from REVZILLA after I got the Cayenne Pro jacket first. I just got back from a 900 mile trip through the Smoky Mountains. We had a wide range of temperature (60 - 90+) degrees. Even though the pants are fairly thick - unlike the mesh pants - they replaced, I didn't feel too hot but pretty much felt comfortable during the whole trip. Over all I love the quality and the looks of the pants
One note on the size: I initially ordered them in Large since my mesh pants where from Rev"It as well and they fit perfectly in "L". I got the pants a week before we were leaving for our trip and they were too tight. I called the folks from REVZILLA and explained that I would need to exchange them ASAP so they make it on time. REVZILLA agreed to send me a pair in XL upfront. I got them 2 days later and they fit perfectly although the difference between large and XL was not that big.

Great Pants

I'm 6'-0 and about 210 (not much on the waist line though) and I ordered a long large. They fit great. A little tight with both the liners in but perfect without just the insulating liner. These are a good pant. I would have liked a little more rugged material all over the pant but, I'm hard on equipment and want it all to be bullet proof which just isn't reasonable. I would definietly purchase these again.

a little pricey but worth every penny

These pants are comfortable and hug the seat well (no slipping forward) I've already put them to the rain test and I stayed bone dry inside. They vent well considering there is only one side vent on each outer thigh. I've been wearing them over jeans which is snug but not bad for commuting and with boxer briefs on weekend rides the adjustability in the waist accommodates the waist with and without jeans. knee pads hit me just right. I wear 34W 32inseam Levis for comparison. I bought the size L

Revit Cayenne Pro Pants

I'm 6'4' 235 so I ordered 2xl pants and there perfect. My first ride in these pants was great. I hit all weather from hot wind across the Arizona Desert to rain and snow in the mountains of New Mexico. I never got wet or cold, and would recommend this gear to anyone looking for top of the line comfort and fit.
