The AIRVOLUTION is a revolutionary new leather sports glove for the summer, offering a balance of protection and ventilation.

This short, sporty glove is almost fully ventilated for comfortable riding in the summer, but it is also completely equipped with all required protection. Knuckles, fingers, thumbs, and palms are all specially reinforced to offer ultimate protection where you need it.

I brought these gloves to fit in to my size 56 (Euro) Alpinestars GP-R Jacket. The closure cuff fits well into my jacket's sleeve and is able to zip up and close over it without difficulty.
Let me start by saying that I love these gloves and I brought them to be my everyday pair to be use in conjunction with the Rev'it Jeves that I plan to buy during summer. So far I've had these gloves in 34 degree weather and they keep my hands considerably warm for the conditions.
Before purchasing these gloves, I was inbetween pairs of Rev'it: Monster, Fly, and H20 and Held: Short Racing Gloves. These gloves felt the best to me after trying on various gloves and sitting on my bike and the fabric around the palm of the glove is very comfortable when maneuvering the controls.
I brought these gloves in an XXL to avoid my hands going to sleep. I am normally between sizes with XL and XXL. Once I jump on the bike though the extra room that I normally have within the fingertips (just walking around) disappears and the gloves fit snug to my fingers. I also have wide wrists so initially fitting into the XL felt like there would have been some circulation loss.
Overall they breathe OK. Normally I put my hand down by my side when riding on the highway with them If I need to pass air into the glove as there are no perforations in between the fingers, only on the back and around the carbon fiber.
Overall, I brought this glove as an street/aggressive riding glove so that if I went down, I would be protected. I feel very protected wearing this glove.

Great glove! Fit and finish are excellent. Nothing sharp anywhere on the inside. Sizing is a bit small so follow the sizing measurement guide and go a size larger if you're on the fence between sizes. Have about 4K miles in these gloves and love 'em. Good airflow, no binding anywhere. No pressure points from the carbon. With a skin glove I always go with the smallest size I can get away with and then work the glove to stretch. These fit great right off and broke in quickly. Good airflow for a leather glove with full protection. Highly recommend.

These Airvolution gloves are a great product. You get the short style w/ good protection & great fit & finish that other short style gloves really can't match. Way more protection that you could get from any Icon shorty. Great rev'it quality!

I've had these gloves for a few months now. I've worn them on a 4 hour ride recently as well. For just over $100 ($109) they offer a high level of protection seen in most gloves over $150. They fit a little smaller than other gloves I've worn (Dainese, Alpinestars). The leather on the palm side if very soft which adds to the level of comfort.
The only drawbacks I would say are that on me (size medium gloves) the first 3 fingers are a little shorter and the glove is a little tight in between my fingers (the webbing). As noted by other reviewers, the carbon fiber protection on the ring finger is a little uncomfortable as it rests at the knuckle and when you are squeezing in a fist or around the bars it can cause discomfort to your knuckle.
I would have liked to try a large, but I am sure it still would have been too big for my hands.

Glove fits well but is stiff across the pinkie and ring fingers, i'm hoping it'll become more flexible after it breaks in a bit more. Not much ventilation, but better than my other gloves so it works well for me.

i baught a size small, not a bad prodcut, only con, the knucles are extremely stuff, which leaves my knuckles red and burned. lets see how they break in.

SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
