Used for front tire: VTX 1800c Just took my VTX 1800c out for a test drive with this tire on the FRONT. Apparently it's the go to tire for the FRONT of Trikes for the extra traction and has a reputation for high mileage as well so I bought my first one here. Fast shipping and the tire looks excellent so far. Test drove after warming up the tire and it was really responsive through some tight figure 8s on a test course then ate up the twisties afterwards. Noticeably less tracking when riding over ruts parallel to my direction. While this is more noticeable with skinnier tires it is noted here simply for the improvement over my previous tire. This Michelin Pilot Activ used on the FRONT performed better than the Metz I used to run. I am totally convinced so far that this tire IS what I'll be using from now on. I cannot review the tread life or wet traction yet but if the dry riding was any indication of how well it grips the road... Should be excellent for wet. Tread life has yet to be seen... Excellent Tire I am running this tire reversed on the front of a a GW1800 Roadsmith Trike ... This tire is absolutely awesome in this capacity and would recommend all trike owners to go this way for your front tire. December 31, 2012
All of this for a wonderful price! I am REALLY happy with these Michelins!! I have had 2 other brand of tires on my bike and these have given me more milage and better handling at a cheaper price. Wet traction is excellent. These are the tires for my R100RT from now on!! July 10, 2012
