Joe Rocket Women's Alter Ego Pants
Comfortable, protective pants
This is my first pair of motorcycle pants I bought for added protection. Very comfortable and really enjoy the removable flaps for extra ventilation. Used them on a weekend motorcycle camping trip at the end of the summer and they were great! The added waterproof layer on the inside is also working quite well for the rainy pacific northwest.

If you're tall and thin this is about your only option!
I had a horrible time finding moto pants because I'm 5'9" and ~120 lbs. These fit the bill! I got a size small and they are long enough and the waist and hips actually fit. I really like all the options these pants have. I love the hip pads! Unfortunately, the lowest pocket for the knee armor is still a little high for me but I just pull the pants way down on my hips when I ride and it works. The airflow is great with the zip out removed. The legs are a little wide for my taste and I do feel a little like I'm wearing snow pants when I walk around but given the limited options for my body type I'm very happy to have found these!

Great protection with and without the lining
These 2 in 1 pants are perfect for riding all year round here in a temperate climate. I love the adjustable knee pads and the inside full zipper on the legs. The removable thermal lining will make riding very comfortable in the southern California winter.

Great fit,great venting
Got these for my wife for Mother's Day. She has been wearing leather pants and was very hot all the time. She loves the fit and the zippered vents.shes 5-9 and I got the large, they fit great with shorts on under them. She likes them so much I'm going to get her the matching alter ego jacket

Great As Overpants
I use these pants as overpants for commuting to work. I got a size up, large, as I do not want too tight and constricting movement on the bike while wearing dress pants/slacks/khakis whatever they are called underneath them, with the liner removed. I'm 5'5, about 138lbs. The pants are a little long on me but easily fixed by snapping up a hem or two on the pant legs. One con is when getting the pants on sometimes my foot will snag on the bottom snaps inside the pants, but minor irritant for major adjustability!
I almost always wear them with the vent floral zipper removed so there is better air circulation. Great to feel padding in the knees, hips, etc, which as made me a little more daring when driving, and actually a better driver!

Awesome pants!! Well worth the money, great features!
I bought these pants in preparation for a three day, 1200 mile trip in spring. Turns out ¨spring¨ really felt more like winter - it was below freezing when I left each morning, and barely got above forty during the day. Needless to say, it was not a comfortable ride, but these pants definitely made it bearable. They are great wind blockers, and the liner made them feel warmer even though it isn't really an insulating liner. Functionally, the get an A+. Adjustment strap on the back allowed me to tighten them just enough to fit well, and the zipper attachment to my Joe Rocket jacket kept wind from creeping up my back.
They're very comfortable - one person had mentioned they felt that the armor dug into their hips, but I did not experience this. I'm 5'-6¨, 130 lbs, and size medium was a perfect fit over my jeans. These pants managed to fit over my jeans without feeling bulky, and still had a ¨feminine¨ look and feel.
I haven't gotten a chance to see if these are waterproof yet, but everything appears well sealed. I also haven't used the vent strip yet, but it seems like a system that would work well.
All in all, I give Joe Rocket a great big thumbs up for making a pant that's functional for us girls that really do ride, while still keeping a feminine touch. Way to go!

Comfy, adjustable, protective pants that look good
Finally got to give these pants a workout with 10 days of serious riding (shortest day 3.5 hours; longest day 8.5 hours). I am 5'7" and 140lbs with a bit of excess in the middle; I chose the L as I wanted to add layers under the pants for some riding. I probably could have gotten away with the M, but with the way the pants sit high I think the L was smarter.
Temps were from 19C (65F) to 35C (95F). I removed the vent panel for all riding and it did an ok job of giving me some relief when it got hot. I was perfectly fine with no extra layer at the coldest temps we rode in and the one day I rode with a light legging I about melted at 24C/75; I was, of course, seriously hot at the upper end, but it was workable. For me, these pants are comfortable-ish to about 30C (86F), but honestly I'm going to try to find another option for 26C/78F and above.
I did feel a bit like I was wearing snow pants, unlike some other reviewers. They did feel a bit bulky and made the swishing sound when I'd walk, but they do the job and have great protection. The pants look nice and fit well over my boots; I happily went in to cafes/pubs and stores while wearing them, but they are clearly built with purpose. All the adjustments available are excellent and elevate these pants.
Sometimes I undid some of the snaps at waist to make the pants sit exactly where I needed them to sit while riding - especially while crouched well down through endless twisties. I'd often forget to redo them, but the zipper alone did a fine of job of keeping the pants more or less in place with only a little sliding down. Zips and snaps are all very sturdy and easy to use.
Worn them for hours now on Honda VFR1200 through hours of tight mountain twisties plus suburban & highway riding and on Yamaha XT1200Z long haul straight roads & off-road adventure.
Overall, I'm very pleased with these pants and will put many more miles on them.

Good so far!
I rode in them for the first time and I am pleased so far. They are comfortable even wearing them as over pants, over top of jeans. I like the zip off mesh vent, I haven't used it yet though. The waist adjusts enough and the length is very adjustable which is good because they are really long for me. I rode them in 48 degree weather so I don't know how they will feel in warm or hot weather. I didn't even use the liner, but I can tell just from trying them on that there is no doubt they will keep me warm in colder temperatures!
