Joe Rocket Women's Alter Ego Pants
Sizing is unrealistic for a real woman rider
I know things run small but these are ridiculous. I wear a size 14/16 Jean ordered the 2xl. Didn't even get over my hips. I tried on Bilt women's XL and could fit snugly into that, their 2xl fit perfect over jeans. I just didn't get them because the didn't have vents, but guess I will be going back for those. These are cute but not for a woman with any curves. So if you are thick with thighs and butt, these won't fit.

Cut/Fit Not for Someone Who Actually Rides
I had such high hopes for these! They look great and I really like all of the features. When I first put them on, I was like "yay! These are awesome.", but as soon as I tried to sit or bend or get on my motorcycle, I found that the cut is horrible. As usual with women's "riding" gear, these pants are made for standing around, not actually sitting on a motorcyle.
As soon as you bend at the waist, the front of the pants pushes against your stomach and abdomin and the back of the pants gets lower (exposes your lower back) and sticks out away from your back and they are very tight through the hips/butt area. I'm 5'6", 125 lbs. I tried the XS, S and Medium and nothing fit right when actually in a riding position.

Protection without looking like the Michellan man
I was looking for motorcycle pants that provided protection, comfort, would work for varying temperatures that were cut and styled for a woman rider. So far, these pants fit the bill. I think they run just a bit on the small side. Initially I ordered a medium (I wear size 8-10 pants typically). They fit, but were snug and I thought they might be too snug for riding so I exchanged for a Large. The Large fit and are comfortable for riding. I like that you can use the snap system to shorten the pants and like that you can remove a small panel in order to have ventilation. However, a word of warning. Keep up with the panel. I removed and misplaced mine and learned that you can not purchase a replacement part for the panel. I haven't ridden in temperatures yet that required me to use the liner. I live in CA and used them in late summer and early Fall. So far were comfortable without the liner at temperatures from approx. 65-90. Revzilla is great. The exchange was easy and I loved getting free shipping for the purchase and a one time courtesy free shipping for the exchange. I would recommend these pants and even though I lost the ventilation panel I have been using them. The pants are not cheap so I will just have to use the liner when it gets colder and perhaps use some long johns.

Excellent fit for medium/tall riders, A+
Just wore these for 3000 miles from freeszing fog in the NW to hot and dry to watch the pre-run of the Baja 1000. Warmth with just long johns under in 30's at 75 mph was very good (i get cold easy), and airflow with mesh strip opened at 80 degrees plus on slow sand/dirt racks in mx was also excellent. The only pants that are long enough (?? WHY?) for taller riders, and I've tried just about everything out there (rev'it, bmw. scorpion, rukka, etc etc). These have a a great fit over adventure boots and snug up tight with velcro at ankle calf, so no wind. Couple of sand-spills in them, no signs of wear. Wish knee armor had more adjustability. Can't say if the exterior alone is waterprooof, but I think i'd stay dry in showers withouteven the liner in (which seemed unbreathable-I never used it). I'm 145, 5'9, and size Small was a perfect fit. Great value for the money.

I mainly use my bike to commute, I can put them on and take them off in a flash. Great fit and adjustable to snug it down more. The adjustable armor pockets on the knees is perfect. I do wish I could replace the hip pads with some armor, but for the price and convenience, I feel like it fits.

Comfort, Protection and Stylish
I bought these pants as a finisher to my outfit for riding. I have a Joe Rocket jacket so the fact that these zip to my jacket is exactly what I was looking for. I have a weird body type with big butt and thighs and a small waist so I was in between a M/L. I went with the large since I knew I had to sit in them for a while and they have been great! They are huge around the wast but i have just pulled them tight in the back and they are great on the bike. Adjusting the pads and the length was easy and I even tightened them around my ankles so they won't flap in the wind. So far I have been happy with the large size and found them to be warm and comfy! Hope this helps and Revzilla is the best place to buy them from.

better then expected
Really pretty nice pants, flow more air then expected and fit was right on. Pads are nice to work with and appear they would stay in place if needed. Revzilla went out of their way to make sure my wife got these before a two week trip. Revzilla Rocks.

I purchased these pants to wear on a 300 mile weekend trip I had planned; I only ride as passenger now and this was my second time on a bike. Because I'm so new I was very nervous purchasing pants.
After an exhaustive search for leather pants I finally purchased these. Despite not being leather they had all the protection I wanted and had an adjustable hem--a blessing because I had two weeks before the ride and have a 27.5 inch inseam.
About 250 miles of the 340 we rode had temperatures around 104 F. I wore a pair of tight running pants under these because I didn't like the way the liner stuck to my skin when I sweat. The zip off vent was fabulous. With the vent zipped on these pants did well riding into a cold, foggy San Francisco night, too. I haven't used the wet weather liner yet.
The knee protection and I had some discussions during the first half of the ride but I eventually broke them in and they stayed in place. I have a 27 inch waist and 36 inch hips. The XS fits well. Even my boyfriend, who loves leather also, told me these pants looked good.
These are worth the money and are a great first time purchase.
