Joe Rocket Women's Alter Ego Pants
Comfy, adjustable, protective pants that look good
Finally got to give these pants a workout with 10 days of serious riding (shortest day 3.5 hours; longest day 8.5 hours). I am 5'7" and 140lbs with a bit of excess in the middle; I chose the L as I wanted to add layers under the pants for some riding. I probably could have gotten away with the M, but with the way the pants sit high I think the L was smarter.
Temps were from 19C (65F) to 35C (95F). I removed the vent panel for all riding and it did an ok job of giving me some relief when it got hot. I was perfectly fine with no extra layer at the coldest temps we rode in and the one day I rode with a light legging I about melted at 24C/75; I was, of course, seriously hot at the upper end, but it was workable. For me, these pants are comfortable-ish to about 30C (86F), but honestly I'm going to try to find another option for 26C/78F and above.
I did feel a bit like I was wearing snow pants, unlike some other reviewers. They did feel a bit bulky and made the swishing sound when I'd walk, but they do the job and have great protection. The pants look nice and fit well over my boots; I happily went in to cafes/pubs and stores while wearing them, but they are clearly built with purpose. All the adjustments available are excellent and elevate these pants.
Sometimes I undid some of the snaps at waist to make the pants sit exactly where I needed them to sit while riding - especially while crouched well down through endless twisties. I'd often forget to redo them, but the zipper alone did a fine of job of keeping the pants more or less in place with only a little sliding down. Zips and snaps are all very sturdy and easy to use.
Worn them for hours now on Honda VFR1200 through hours of tight mountain twisties plus suburban & highway riding and on Yamaha XT1200Z long haul straight roads & off-road adventure.
Overall, I'm very pleased with these pants and will put many more miles on them.

Good so far!
I rode in them for the first time and I am pleased so far. They are comfortable even wearing them as over pants, over top of jeans. I like the zip off mesh vent, I haven't used it yet though. The waist adjusts enough and the length is very adjustable which is good because they are really long for me. I rode them in 48 degree weather so I don't know how they will feel in warm or hot weather. I didn't even use the liner, but I can tell just from trying them on that there is no doubt they will keep me warm in colder temperatures!

Great women's pants
It took me a really long time to find pants that fit, had proper protection and looked good! These are the pants! I am 5'9'', 140 lbs and I got the Medium. They are a bit large, but come with lots of ways to adjust them so they will work fine. I think I could have pulled off a size small though.
I love how you can hem the bottom to change the length of the pants, and how they come with some hip protection (I found NO women's pants with hip protection in stores I checked). These pants are full of great features and are reasonably priced.

LOVE the features
I had my heart set on these particular riding pants and they did not disappoint. Wore them every day on a twelve day bike trip through cold mountain weather and smokin' hot days on the bike. The ability to add layers (inside rain-proof liner) or to quickly adjust airflow with the zip in/out panel makes it perfect for varying weather conditions. I also love the length as I'm 5'9 and 157 pounds and these pants cover my ankles when seated on the bike. I bought a size large and they fit a little tight in the waist but are still comfortable and perfect fit everywhere else. I did remove the small front hip guards to get a better fit in the waist but the larger hip pads are still there for protection.
I also love the style of these pants.. they do not feel like over-sized snow pants but have a sleek line with a tapered leg that I feel comfortable enough to walk into a restaurant or store without looking like the abominable snowman! The side seams zip open to allow more airflow when off the bike and I can take them on & off with my boots on, although it is easier to take the boots off first.
Have had a few compliments on the these Joe Rocket Women's Alter Ego Pants and I love 'em!

I bought these pants last week and love them. I bought the small, I'm 5'2", 115lbs and I'm able to wear tights or shorts underneath with no problem! The adjustable hem is a great feature, no need to cut and sew. With the warm weather, I've been riding with the vent zipped out, which provides plenty of airflow. HIGHLY recommend these pants!

I love it!
I love these pants. They fit over my shorts/pants so I can be as cool or as warm as I want. They are comfortable and offer great protection. I got a large as I am pear shaped and have big hips. I love that I can adjust the waist to fit my shape.

Sizing is unrealistic for a real woman rider
I know things run small but these are ridiculous. I wear a size 14/16 Jean ordered the 2xl. Didn't even get over my hips. I tried on Bilt women's XL and could fit snugly into that, their 2xl fit perfect over jeans. I just didn't get them because the didn't have vents, but guess I will be going back for those. These are cute but not for a woman with any curves. So if you are thick with thighs and butt, these won't fit.

Cut/Fit Not for Someone Who Actually Rides
I had such high hopes for these! They look great and I really like all of the features. When I first put them on, I was like "yay! These are awesome.", but as soon as I tried to sit or bend or get on my motorcycle, I found that the cut is horrible. As usual with women's "riding" gear, these pants are made for standing around, not actually sitting on a motorcyle.
As soon as you bend at the waist, the front of the pants pushes against your stomach and abdomin and the back of the pants gets lower (exposes your lower back) and sticks out away from your back and they are very tight through the hips/butt area. I'm 5'6", 125 lbs. I tried the XS, S and Medium and nothing fit right when actually in a riding position.
