Another great Joe Rocket product!!! I am 6'3" 210 Athletic build, usually wear a size34 waist and i ordered a 36 and with the adjustable straps on the belt line there is plenty of room for adjust ability. The length is perfect as well. i wear them over my TCX full height race boots and they work well. the zippered calf area makes for easy on and off. I bought these for drag racing. the leather is of excellent quality very durable. the crotch area has nice breath ability as well as stretch. the knees do tend to protrude while walking around. The padding in the hips and knees seems to be sufficient.I would recommend these pants to anyone. July 16, 2014
Saved me from some more serious damage! Took them out for their maiden voyage and loved them! Sadly had a guy run a stop sign but those pants saved me from some more serious damage! The pants held up and don't show any sign of damage! I on the other hand suffered dislocated shoulder and fractured arm. This years riding season is over for me Love the pants cant wait till next year to try them again! June 16, 2014
Great pair of pants I paired these pants up with the matching Joe Rocket Pro Street jacket. On cold, rainy Seattle days, I zip the two together, which is a simple process, and I'm quite comfortable. Now that the Pacific Northwest weather is turning cold, I wear a base layer under these pants to assist in blocking wind on the freeway. I am a daily commuter in all kinds of weather, putting in about 50 miles per day, and I arrive to work warm and dry. I was previously wearing my work clothes under a pair of over pants, but they did not give me the level of protection I require. So now I store my work clothes at the office and change out of my leathers when I arrive. The quality of the leather, as well as the actual construction of the Pro Street pants, is top notch. One thing I really appreciate is the ease with which my riding boots tuck under the pant legs. Joe Rocket installed a lower leg zipper to accommodate this. The padding in the hips and the knee armor are well placed and stout. There is no room for compromise when riding in Seattle weather. I am very pleased with all of my purchases from Revzilla because I took the time to research, and the advice I get from the guys on the phones is always spot on. The Pro Street pants get better the more I wear them. I anticipate getting years of great service out of them. Priced well, worth every penny. November 25, 2013
Phenomenal Pant! I toiled for some time with these or the Revit Gear 2 and decided to save a few bucks and go with the Rocket. Great decision! I wear 32 x 34 in levis and so ordered the 34 Pro Street. The waist sits a little high and I am narrower up there so they do drop a bit, but with the zippers attached stay right where they need to be. These are the most comfortable pants with the best style I have ever purchased. Highly Recommend. June 12, 2013
Great pants....just can't be thick. Basically, if you can comfortably fit into a "slim" cut pair of jeans from most brands out there (ex. Levis), these pants should be a good fit. Waist to true to stated size, inseam actually works out to be a little shorter than stated (at least the pair I got). With the fit out of the way, I do like these pants. I was looking for a pair of leather pants that doesn't look like something out of glam-band rock video nor a track-style, knee-pucker. These are about in the middle as it can get. The knee protectors are a little weird to walk about in because they protrude out away from you but on the bike, they fit and feel ok for me. Protection of the pants in general seems very good (although I did take out the foam hip protectors for more comfort). Overall, very happy with the purchase. November 29, 2012
Decent protection, good quality and stylish I like the fit and the style: as other reviews said, they run tight and sit relatively low (that's a good thing, IMHO). Quality in terms of workmanship seems to be good and the protection seems to be decent: strong, thick leather, cannot judge yet how well they hold up to abrasions (I hope I won't have to find out) -- the foam pads on the hips extend to the top of the thigh and have a pretty solid feel to them. One big problem I have is with the knee protectors. They are either oddly placed or oddly shaped. One of the knee protectors started cutting in above my knee and causing a fair amount of irritation. Moving it around in the pocket doesn't really solve it, in part because it just won't stay put in its position in the pocket. Also, there are several rough seams on the inside of the legs that become irritating after a while. All in all, I'd give them a marginal endorsement, mostly based on style, fit and quality. Worth a good look If you want an over the boot leather pant with adequate armor look no farther. Good venting with fabric panels, multilayer knee pads with only soft hip pads but still much better than simple overpants or chaps provide. Above knee and rear stretch panels work well although only complaint is hardness of pads and no height adjustment. Also if your on the stocky side with large thighs they may prove tight- these are cut on the slim side. Not cheap but the quality and features are definitely there. If your not a tuck the boot tops in track look kind of guy then go with these for the street. November 28, 2008

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Thomas P: Just purchased a 2002 GSXR 1000 for drag racing. Went from a 10.10 second Yamaha R6 to a 9.43 1000 so I'm required to have leathers. These pant offer over the boot comfort, i did not want the tight ankle feel while drag racing. they also do not have the ugly velcro for the pucks. These overall are the best looking pants for my style as well as most reviews have nothing but good things to say. Apr 4, 2014
Daniel O: Compatible with Joe Rocket Jacket I have and seemingly appropriate for touring use. Feb 26, 2014
A shopper asked: What will these pants zip into to? Sep 7, 2013

Anthony S: The pants have two separate zippers installed by the waistline: One is an eight inch zipper right at the center of the back, outside the padding, and the other goes all the way around the waist. Mine were shipped with a strip of durable denier zipped into both zippers, for sewing into a jacket of your choice for attachment. I purchased the Joe Rocket Radar Dark jacket, which had an eight inch zipper already installed, and just unzipped the fabric strip from both zippers on the pants for use later.
Good pants overall. I've done 12,000 miles in two and a half months using them as over pants for work/dress clothes and jeans, in all types of weather. Go a size or two bigger for this type of use. No crashes yet, but they feel pretty solid for a slide. Ventilation is okay for movement in hot weather, but you'll heat up at stop lights.

Allan G: I have a Joe Rocket Ballistic 10.0 high vis jacket that these pants zip onto very nicely, but they don't zip onto my Joe Rocket old school leather jacket. I find these pants fit so well I don't even need to zip them together with the jacket most of the time, I really like these pants , very comfortable on and off the bike .I am 6' tall and 190 lb's and I bought size 34 waist , same as my jeans, they fit over my boots perfectly, would highly recommend these pants. I am sure they zip onto all Joe Rocket jackets, I would imagine all zippered jackets use the same style of zipper. hope this helps. Sep 16, 2013

scott d: The pants come with both zippers so if your jacket does not match you can sew in the zipper to match it up. I have a Sedici jacket and was able to sew the zipper in and get the benefit of a full zip system. The pants have both 8" and either 280* or 360* I can't remember which. Sep 16, 2013

Andrew W: It has an all around zip as well as a short zip at the back. The short one zips into my Teknic jacket but it comes with both sides of the zipper so you could ostensibly get it sown into something else... Sep 16, 2013

Michael H: I think they zip into any joe rocket jacket. They zipped right into my joe rocket sonic jacket. For your information, the hip pads suck, removed them after first ride. Sep 16, 2013

A shopper asked: How true to measurements are the pants Aug 30, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: The size chart is fairly accurate, but if you fall between or near the very top of a size you may want to consider going up a size if you prefer a more relaxed fit. These pants do fit a little on the snug side (as most leather products should/do) and they are not as loose fitting as some of the textile Joe Rocket gear. Also, keep in mind that if you unsure about sizing, you can always reach any of our Gear Geeks by calling 877-792-9455 between 9:00AM-7:00PM Eastern Standard Time. Aug 31, 2012

A shopper asked: I'm a size 36 in a 30" inseam. Will these pants be too long? Do they sell shorts? Sep 22, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Patrick RStaff: The size 36 pants have a 32" inseam, so they will be a little long on your 30" measurement. If you are wearing proper motorcycle boots, the 36 should fit well. Right now, Joe Rocket does not offer short options in these pants. Sep 25, 2013
