Good value for my Florida Winter pant My inseam is 36" from crotch to floor, and my waist size (34"), so J.R. was about the only choice in my size anyway. (Large/Tall) I'm a full time motorcyclist, and bought these in the Autumn of 2013, and while they're not big on features, they've held up well, and show no real signs of wear yet. They're too hot for me in anything over 80'F, and with the water proof liner in that drops to about 70'F. I have no issues with the comfort, and don't find them bulkiy, though they're not slim either. I've had no poblems fitting them over street clothes, and they cinch down enough for wearing over Under/Armor or skivvies. The back cinch tabs are a bit flimsy, and found it best to adjust them first before fastening the front. (I think they'll tear otherwise.) The Leg zippers constantly catch on the seam flaps and can be a pain when zipping the full length. I haven't had any issues with leaks, but if it's really going to pour, even n January, it's generally too warm for me to wear these. They could use some reflective material, but overall I think they're solid for the price. March 26, 2015
Great Winter Riding Pants These pants are are heavy, warm, and waterproof! They offer great knee and hip protection. They fit slightly large on me, but I think that is because they are an overpant. The adjustable waist and ankle straps help control the oversized fit. If you don't want to wear them as an overpant, order a size down. March 23, 2015
Good pants! Really good pants, I love em! Usually I wear 36x36 levis, 6 ft 7 inches tall athletic built man, that pants in XLT sits on me perfectly. I like removable liner, I like material, I like style. Knee protection is no good for track-days, but if you commute in city - good choice. Not for warm days, but in middle and cold weather that pants awesome. Recommend for all-day riding. March 2, 2015
This product is awesome! I'm very satisfied with this product. I needed it for a trip and I'm very happy to have it now. Many thanks! February 18, 2015
Very good quality I'm 6'2" and have a 50 inch waist, finally found a product of good quality that fits a fat old bugger like me. Could ride a bit higher instead on on the hips though. Overall very happy February 16, 2015
Happy I'm 6'2" 200lbs with a 40" waist at the belly. I bought the XL and they're a little baggy. Not too hard to get into but you have to be careful not to pinch the liners in the zippers- it's easy to do. Biggest gripe is the two buttons on the fly always come undone and it's not because of my weight, the just don't snap tight. I'm considering having a tayler replace them. One more thing, the zipper was installed backwards. Revzilla offered to replace it but it wasn't worth the hassle to me. February 9, 2015
Just Got These. Just got these. Had trouble with the sizing of the Gerbing EX Pants and selected these for cold weather. I have not used them yet but I don't think I need to to point out some great features so far. I ordered the 50-52 5x size because I wanted something that I could easily slip on over my work dress clothes. My Levi's size is 46x30 but I can wear a 44x30 with little discomfort. The fit is just what I hoped for. I just need to put a couple of rubber bands around my pants legs at the bottom and I can get right in these things. Velcro straps in the waist allow you to take up the waist itself a lot and I did this. Two buttons and a zipper at the waist are quick to deal with and I do not need the side leg zippers at all so some of the failures described are not important to me and also anything with zippers that long is going to fail eventually. There are Velcro adjusters in two places on the legs. one at the bottom hem and one about 5 inches higher. The pockets are nicely placed. The liner is not secured at the bottom so it tends to come out when you get out of them but this is good because when you get into them you can put the liners into your boots and put the outer shell over your boots. The entire process is a lot easier than chaps. The inner liner looks very warm and I can well understand why some other reviewers say these pants will be unusable in the summer even with the liner removed. I'm sure they will be but I prefer to just wear jeans in the summer anyway. Some also complain about the fact that the crotch length is short. It is but it will work for my needs. If you want pants that come way up and will stay under your jacket, these are not for you unless you buy the matching jacket and can zip the two together, which is a feature of the set. My Gerbing EX jacket does not have a zipper and I don't intend to sew the other size of the back zipper onto my jacket. I'm very pleased so far and glad I bought these. Its an unusually warm week in Texas this week so I will report back after I have commuted to work in the low 20's. Some say they can do it fine without the liner. January 28, 2015
Good protection, and durable! These pants feel very heavy duty, they've been protecting me from below freezing temperatures for the last few weeks and keep me dry from Seattle's winter rain. They've paid for themselves already, considering the money I've saved on car parking in the city during the bad months. January 5, 2015

Jeramey J: WEATHER
I have been wearing these since last year. There is a zip out poly liner that I leave out for the summer. Winter time I put it back in so I can travel in the rain.
WIND
These pants are great for wind-block and I traveled all winter last year in them, rocking sweats or jeans underneath.

SIZE
Im a big dude, so wear a 5X . My pants waist size is 50. And, I still have room for my jeans no problem the the pants slide well on them. The thing for size is that, with a big waist, they seem to think I should have a 36" inseam. So, I got them hemmed up from a friend and trimmed the zippers. But, thats because I've got stubs for legs.

TEMP
I have not been cold in this pants yet, even on 500 mile days. With the liner in and a base layer, I get no wind through the material or water. They are thick and provide good protection. In the summer, I remove the liner and just wear a base layer (under armour stretchies / thermals) against the internal mesh liner. Works for me. I will continue to wear these all winter in my case.

Kevin L: I wear 34/35 pants and brought the XL. I wear them as overpants and have plenty of room in the waist and legs. With the liner in they keep me pretty warm. I have worn them in the low 20s and felt no chill. I have to take the liner out when it's above 40 or I get pretty hot in them. I've only used mine as winter over pants. Oct 22, 2013

Vir N: Well I have not ridden in them in the winter to start with but I have ridden in the rain in the higher parts of the Himalays. Where it got pretty cold. I was wearing the pants with the rain liner and a pair of thermals inside and that was good enough for me. I have not tried to wear them over clothing but I think they would fit pretty well. All in all I am very happy with them. They are the only pair of riding pants in my kit now and I have used them all year round http://helmetstories.blogspot.in/search/label/Pangi%20Valley Oct 23, 2013

Otis M: I bought these to wear over work clothes for rides into the office. They are a little tight in the thighs and hips for over jeans. I bought a large and have a 36 waist. Plenty of room in the waist, not much in the hips and upper thighs. I think an XL might have been better.

They are very warm and have become my cold weather pants. I have not worn them with the liners because of the tightness in the hip and thighs. I ride in temps in the 20s in dry Colorado.
